I needed to get fitted and had never done that before so I went up to a girl on the floor to ask if they do them. She was on her phone and did not look up until the second time I said excuse me, then rudely said "in the fitting room" and looked back at her phone. I shook it off and went into the fitting room where the woman told me to take off my shirt and just be in a bra which I didn't know was necessary so I was a bit nervous but that was totally ok. She gave me a bra to try first that didn't fit and while I was trying to explain why it felt weird she looked at me and said "relax" in a tone that made me feel ashamed for even trying to explain. I ended up leaving the entire mall after this happened because I felt so embarrassed.

On Valentine's Day, Victoria's Secrets are infamously crawling with dudes lingerie shopping last-minute for their lady (or lady-friend), and wives/girlfriends doing the same. Derby Street was pleasantly mellow, with only a few other patrons there. 2) the staff was helpful and polite-- and not in a coerced way. One employee helped me look for some cute "cheekinis" in the size and color I wanted. No hovering otherwise. 3) checkout took no time at all. There was no line, and I was helped almost immediately. 4) despite having a pretty good sale (2 "cheekinies" for $14), they had plenty of stock and choices. Everything was moderately well organized, with some sizes being put in drawers that had no labels. This will definitely be my go-to VS for the usual necessities, as well as for special occasions. Check it out, if you haven't been yet-- but go online first, to see if they have any sales going on!

I had my receipt and the item was in its original packaging not damaged at all except for being defective! I originally paid cash so She gave me $10 cash back she threw in a penny to make it $10.... I got my receipt and proceeded to get a replacement and found one similar for $9.99. I looked at my receipt and just realized she did not give me my tax money back. So, I asked two male employees to look at my receipt and agreed that I should have got my tax money, The Story gets interesting now! I went to that same woman to pay the new one and she said it was $10.61! HA.....I explained to her it was the same item and she did not return MY tax BACK, now she wants my tax. Today, I visited the Lane Bryant store in Braintree, Massachusetts, and had one of the worst customer service experiences. There were two employees behind the register, one of whom appeared to be a manager. Neither employee acknowledged my presence, despite the fact that I--and at one point another customer--were the only people in the store. I stood in line for a noticeable amount of time while the manager continued working on something else rather than assisting me. At no point did she acknowledge me, make eye contact, or offer even a simple statement such as "someone will be with you shortly." The lack of basic courtesy and professionalism was disappointing and came across as both disrespectful and dismissive. I have been a loyal Lane Bryant customer for several years, but after this experience, I will not be returning.

It is casual & jeans over on one side & then More Dressy & Lingerie to one side, there are several seats for the dressing rooms which are also amply spaced... I have never had an OMG get out of my face experience there with the reps as I have had at other spots... I would LOVE to give Lane 5 stars, I just dont love shelling out a rather large portion every time I go, considering to me this is the ONLY spot to buy Big Girl Fashion I am forced to go here ( I wont do any of the fake, Cheesy Plus size Bullshit that other stores sell ie. Dots, Tellos, Rainbow - thats all CRAP!) I Love Lane and their styles are always Perfectly Up to date & Very Fashionable, I just want more Clearance and this store has TONS of it, its just soo much that I cant seem to dig through without it all falling on the floor...
