I don't live near a soma and drove out of my way to get to this location for them to close early. The manager at least closed the store ten minutes early. One of the workers tried to unlock the door for me & she ran out yelling no!! When I told her I would call someone about this she said okay I don't care. She told me we are closed and no way you are getting in and it was seven minutes before closing hours. Worst customer service ever!!! Soma y'all should hire better managers. read more

I walked into this location after work with intentions to purchase but wanted to be measured to get the right fit. I had one associate named, Golnaz who was very helpful and very patient with making sure I found the right bra to fit me and I received a discount which encouraged me to purchase 2 at a good price for the quality. I was in the store the evening of 1/3/24. This is my 2nd time in when the manager(??) was discussing loudly her dissatisfaction with an employee. Talking about the employee's immaturity...you might want to consider it's a small store and stop! I guess that is the MO for this person. I go to Soma every year to buy her Christmas present. I am disabled so it is easy for me to get in and purchase what I need. My experience this year was completely different. I was rushed as the manager wanted to close the store, so I quickly bought what i wanted though not exactly. My purchases didn't fit so my wife attempted to exchange. I had kept the receipt but in their rush they left off an item. When getting credit the manager said she didn't know what to give since prices fluctuate. Sales associate was very kind, helpful, and professional. It was my first Soma visit, and she fitted me and brought me many styles to try on, and helped me figure out which styles worked best for me. She kept bringing me options so I didn't have to get dressed over and over to go hunt around on my own trying to figure out what styles to try. I'd been unsuccessfully looking for new bras for a while (I was over due between my age and weight gain), so I was THRILLED to find Soma had several comfortable styles that worked perfectly for me as a 44D!! She also was able to order an additional color that was not in stock at the store online to be shipped to me at home. Very disappointed in the vanishing edge panties and the embraceable signature thong. I wash them in a lingerie bag on the delicate cycle in cold water and never dry them . One would think they would hold up but they don't. The vanishing edge separates from the pantry and crotch of the thong has separated on 2 pair. And no they are not too small. Quite a disappointment because I love both of these styles of underwear . The most egregious part of my review really begins now...yesterday I returned two bras. Often I don't look at my receipt, I assume it's correct and sign it but yesterday something did not seem right. So I looked at the receipt and the cost of the bras were credited back to my credit card but No Tax was returned! I spent close to $100 on two bras and they aren't going to return the sales tax??? What??! The cashier said it wasn't her fault and blamed the computer system. Ok, I get that but now I wonder if any of my other returns in the years I've shopped there were treated the same way. The cashier did try again to refund it by ringing something up and crediting me $5 but she was still short . So she gave me another dollar in quarters that she had in a jar. She was still short another dollar but by this time I was over it so I left. SOMA, is this really how you practice business? I truly wish I had my past receipts to make sure you didn't keep the tax on every return. read more

NEVER "judge a book by its cover." You never know WHO you are serving. Just left the store. Went there looking for a specific style of bra: open back. There were about 4 customers in the store (wish I would have been treated as great as THEY were.) From the MOMENT I walked in I felt unwelcome. Barely a greeting and only after walking around looking for about 5 minutes did I get acknowledged and asked if I needed help. Explained what I was looking for and was rushed to the checkout. Asked for my number and when it didn't work was asked if there was another number. Said "This is my first time here." Only THEN did the owner (I'm assuming) say " Welcome!" I then proceeded to say "I may look for something else" but, the cashier just gave me my total. "Ok, guess I WON'T be buying anything else." I have a hard time finding a good fitting bra and I'm MORE than willing to pay anything for the perfect fitting bra (which I have yet to find) and I've spent $100's in the past on mediocre bras. I will definitely be looking into Soma bras but I will NEVER step foot in or buy from THIS store. We are in the customer service business (currently own 19 independent restaurants in 3 states) and this was hands down one of the WORST examples of a "great customer service experience"! So disappointed in this store. Made an online purchase and unfortunately had to return. Stopped by the Alpharetta store after work and walked in to the store at 5:51pm. The associate immediately said "sorry we're closed." I said, it's not 6:00 yet; it's only 5:51. The associate said they closed their register. Because the associates wanted to get out at 6, not close at 6, they refused to let me exchange my merchandise. Not only is that terrible customer service, their corporate office should be aware of their employee's selfishness. read more

Walked in and was greeted by a pleasant old lady by the name of Ms Lou-Ann. She asked me what I needed and I told her and she said "well ur in luck, today we are having a sale!" She proceeded to take me to the fitting room to measure me and then provided me with what I needed. The entire process was painless and pleasant! Will definitely be going back. I love Soma, but this one location's customer service is terrible! I can never get good help it any help at all and they always try to fit me and never do it right. This store was recommended by a co-worker who is a 38DDD. I am a 40DD and wanted to have a fitting and find some nice bras, possibly a strapless. She assured me this was the place. I walked in on Saturday around midday. There was a sale, which was encouraging. Took about 5 minutes for the sales staff to acknowledge our presence, not encouraging. I explained to the sales person that I was looking to be fitted and to possibly get a strapless bra. She immediately took me to the back. My elderly mother was with me, and walks with a cane, so she placed us in the larger fitting room, which was very nice. My mother asked if it would be possible to use the restroom, she was told she could walk down to the sub shop at the corner of the strip mall, that part was not nice. I was measured and the sales lady left to get some strapless bras. Came back with two options, neither of which looked sturdy enough to hold up a C very high much less a DD. They did not work, obviously. That was it. She said so sorry it didn't work and walked out. Didn't offer any other bras. Didn't encourage us to look at the sale. Didn't say well "our other bras are so wonderful". Nothing. I put on my shirt and walked out. I probably would have dropped a good penny in that store had someone had the common courtesy to explain what the different options were and what each bra as good for. Nope. I've gotten better service at the Victoria's Secret at the mall. Seriously. read more

I don't usually give 5 stars as I can be quite picky when it comes to customer service. I am a business woman and this Soma location definitely appreciates their customers. I had an issue with the first bra I purchased and their store manager, Alisha, went above and BEYOND to make it better. She recognized that fixing it was important to keep my business and I really appreciate that. Alisha is an amazing lady and I love her store. She cares for the customers and has always made me feel welcome. I highly recommend Alisha, her store and her staff. As for the bras, I am in LOVE with their Enticing Lift Full Coverage bra. It is so comfortable and is completely invisible under all shirts. They also hold up very well compared to other bras I have purchased at other stores and the straps don't get dirty as easily. I went back to buy a second one today because they are that amazing. Alisha recommended this bra to me and at first I was skeptical but she was right! Thanks again Alisha and Soma North Point for helping me find the perfect bra. I deal with horrible back and shoulder pain so a good bra is absolutely essential for me, and I was able to find that at Soma! read more
