Fast forward to today, I went to pick up the pants and the lady I'd spoken to on the phone was there and she turned out to be the manager. I tried on all of the pants she'd set aside for me but was still having trouble with the fit so she circled the store and found me even more additional options. I think I stayed close to an hour there! I've never had a retail experience like this, where someone is truly invested in making sure I get exactly what I need and that I feel comfortable with my choices. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I would strongly advise against shopping here…read more They will say whatever it takes to make a sale, including assuring you that a dress can be altered when it simply cannot. Instead of offering a real solution, we were told to use body tape--which is unacceptable when you're spending $500-$1,500 on a dress. To make matters worse, our daughter has severe skin allergies, so body tape is not even an option for her. When I raised these concerns, the person claiming to be the owner responded with, "not my problem." They refused to accept a return, even though we had the dress for less than 30 minutes and immediately took it to an independent alteration specialist--something their own salesperson suggested, noting their in-house alterations were "very expensive." Even their own alteration person later confirmed the dress was not suitable for our daughter. We had originally been told that if this were the case, a refund would be issued. That turned out to be completely false. Instead, we were once again told to "use body tape." Now we're left with an $800 dress that cannot be worn. I recommend staying away. Also, take the time to research the ownership--because the person I spoke with on the phone misrepresented who they were. Absolutely unacceptable.
