They like to believe they are high end but compared to Polo by Ralph Lauren (which is their primary competitor), they are nowhere near. JCrew is more about form - just looks, simply looks. Durability and longevity of their clothing is horrible - one of my JCrew tshirts simply ripped apart coming off a hanger, my hoodies have tears where stress points are around the pockets. It seems their fabric has become so cheap it's as durable as paper. Khakis barely last after several washes - color fade is horrible. Fit? Don't get me started on that! Seems you have to be so skinny to fit their clothing. Bottom line - Quality, fit has all gone downhill.

The store itself was kind quiet since we got their early and it was already 86 degrees outside so I'm not sure how many people hit a outdoor outlet mall when it's 100 degrees but... We then drove up from midtown Atlanta because of this information, only to now be told that the item hasn't been in stock for weeks. I love wasting my time and gas money for nothing. And what's worse is, in the past we have always gotten good service. What a disappointment all around. Edited to add that one--and only one--employee seemed legitimately sympathetic to our situation and helped us find something for our troubles.
