They took our full payment for "phase one" and were supposed to return after ordering a part they apparently needed to finish the job. Over a month went by after never hearing from them, we reached our several times asking for an update and only when we threatened to escalate the matter did they finally get back to us (clearly they never ordered the part in the first place - waiting until this point to order the part). They finally came back to attempt finishing the job and were unable to make the unit work again. They left the site and said they would get back to us with a solution. They ghosted us again - my husband had to call on a different line to finally get an answer. They then proceeded to say we actually needed to hire an electrician to get the job done. We finally hired another HVAC company that came Immediately and resolved our issue. We are out thousands because of them. We asked for at least a partial refund but again have not heard back. Totally unacceptable and advise anyone considering them not to proceed. And to make matters worse - they left it a complete mess. Dirty hand prints everywhere, etc.

I paid for a few parts out of pocket but it was a very reasonable/low number for a warranty replacement. AHS covers labor and the tank, and I pay for parts or permitting. The water heater spontaneously burned itself up in Feb '26. I requested AHS resend Mountain out because they did the original install. They come out Feb 2nd to evaluate. I ask the plumber to look at the toilet that I think is leaking as well. The next thing I know, he says "toilet is off, I can't replace it". Didn't warn me that the toilet would be removed and didn't check to make sure I had another. He disconnects the WH, said I need an electrician- scheduled to come out the next day. Electrician visited the next day. 2 day's later. I get the attached quote. Not only is it a blanket high dollar estimate that does not affect my situation at all, but the permit included was for HVAC permit services. I called the company and they refused to tailor the quote for my situation. I was told that Mountain Plumbing went under because they weren't charging people correctly. When I said I couldn't foot that bill for a warranty replacement. I was offered financing that was a higher interest rate then listed on their website. None of the terms matched. Because Mountain refused to fix the quote to reflect what would actually need to be done instead of a blanket install estimate, AHS would not proceed with the fix. I fought for 3 weeks with this stone hearted company. I called and requested to speak to the owner but he was recovering from surgery. Meanwhile, a single mom and her 2 small kids are without hot water for 3 weeks. That's not even the whole story. Mountain Heating & Cooling had an expired license for their plumbing permits when they performed work at my home. I spoke with L&I and they confirmed that a Plumbing license is separate from an HVAC license. I took screenshots and included the dates in the images. They were not legally allowed to work or provide bids while their license was suspended. Did they apologize? No. They argued and don't seem to know their own licensing requirements. Mountain also lied to AHS and said they were permitted the entire time, despite evidence they were not. Mountain treated me inhumanely and with disregard. They tried to extort money out of me because having hot water in winter months with small kids is essential. They created undue hardship and distress on my and my children's lives. They are not an honest company. I had several other plumbers come out to give me a quote and none of them quoted such an exorbitant fee for a warranty replacement. I did however received multiple notes regarding the previous install by Mountain where none of the piping to that tank, hosing, or earthquake straps were up to code/installed properly orginally. Mountain wanted to take advantage of me and tried to give me empty reasons to do a complete replacement of all those line items. If I didn't agree to the quote, no work would be done, but then Mountain would make me pay the amount I agreed to regardless of if those items needed to be replaced or not. Mountain used specific language to ensure AHS wouldn't cover these fees. AHS doesn't pay the normal rate of labor, so Mountain took this opportunity to try and squeeze it out of me. They called all items "Modifications" but AHS doesn't cover modifications, just installs and replacements. Mountain Heating & Cooling is deceitful and dishonest. I would take your business elsewhere. I definitely did.

They came out right away and took out our old water heater and luckily they had a new one on their truck for replacement. Yes, their prices are steep...high...but that is what immediate emergency services costs. 02/23/2018 had another emergency this morning, busted waterline in the crawlspace due to freezing temperatures. I called super early and again they answered right away and they were at my house within the hour, along with giving me instructions over the phone to prevent any more damages. They arrived, assessed the problem and fixed it within 45 minutes. I appreciate their thoroughness -explaining every step and why the issue happened - as well as their cleanliness - cleaning the mess up after the job was done - . I will keep their phone number and services on speed dial for any plumbing services/ issues I have. I highly recommend this company.

The first company I contacted charge was about $200 for the first 60 minutes including time, gas and labor (the problem was they couldn't come out until Dec. 1). Good 2 Go could come out the same day. They had a $50 fee to give me a quote which would be waived if I had them do the work. I was quoted $400 for the job by Javonte.... Well since my drain was clogged, I took the quote and Javonti and his helper were finished less than than 35 minutes. They were quick and efficient and didn't run into any problems. Part of this was the timing of the issue. Right before the Holidays and in this time of Covid. I understand and am GRATEFUL for those working during this time. I WILL say that I won't have anyone come out again without knowing their hourly rate and/or travel time rate.

Counting the business owner, three plumbers came today. This time my initial request was to replace two faucets. The plumbers who came to give an estimate a week ago discovered that the cold water valve needed replacing. Notice must be given to building residents 3-4 days in advance of water shutoffs per my HOA rules. A few months after the first time I needed this plumbing company, a contractor working on remodeling my kitchen should have found the valve problem. But since he did not, the silver lining is the quality of the work by this company. I have complete faith that the replacement valve will work perfectly since they installed it. They showed me the plastic valve they replaced and how it would not turn at all. We all liked the faucets I chose for them to install. In the bathroom my glass waterfall faucet has LED lights to indicate cold, warm and hot water. After installing it the plumber showed me a video of the lights working before I went in to try it myself. The kitchen faucet is a Moen which looks nice to start with, and has some great functionality. As the handle is turned for the water the head floats down a little. Then it is possible to select an angle for the head to remain, for example 45 degrees. It will stay in the selected position while the water runs. The owner took a video for himself! Besides the top quality of the work, I appreciate the polite and respectful manners of the owner and all the plumbers.

I used Royal Flush to install new water service from the meter to a new construction ADU, and also…read morerough in the plumbing and drain lines. Quite an involved job. Problems started the first day. When connecting to the water meter, they decided to use a sawzall on the copper manifold that was connected to the meter to avoid digging down an extra 6 inches. When the city discovered this, they replaced it with a new one, and billed them for it. They were unfamiliar with ground covers for the underground shut off valves, and took them 3 months to find correct ones. When they were finally installed, they were set above grade of the surrounding grass so a lawn mower would hit them. Not surprising considering the guy showed up without a shovel and was digging with his hands. I had to dig them up and re-set them myself. Severely lacking attention to detail. During rough-in, they broke out the concrete foundation in the wrong location, leaving me with gaping hole in the concrete stem wall, visible in the main entry next to the front door. When asked to repair it, Kendrick (the owner) said that they were unfamiliar with how to patch concrete. No accountability. When installing A supply/drain box for the washing machine, it was installed at 30" above the floor where it would be inaccessible once a washing machine was installed. I asked Kendrick to move it up high enough so it could be accessed once a washer was in place. He said he would, but it never happened, just plain laziness. The drain lines were put under test and passed inspection. But 24 hours later it started leaking in 2 places. When I asked for a follow up test, they sent me a quote for $1700 - just to fill the system with water!REALLY??? When questioned about what happens if it leaks after drywall and cabinets are installed, I was informed their warranty would cover THEIR parts and labor, and I would be responsible for any drywall, cabinets, and flooring damage due to a leak. When they routed vent pipes in the attic, there was no strapping on any of the pipes to support them. The rubber seal in the roof for the vent pipe was cut very poorly and daylight is visible. When this was brought to their attention, they said to have my roofer fix it. Again, poor attention to detail and no accountability. I have repeatedly called and asked them to come back and fix these issues for weeks, but there is always an excuse. Our scheduler left early, our scheduler is out until next week, our phones are giving us trouble, we're too busy. When I hired them, they were able to start the job right away, no scheduler needed, but now all I get is lip service I would not recommend them for installing any fixtures or rough-in work unless you want to finish the job yourself. Clearing a backed up toilet is about all they are qualified for.
