In July 2023 I reached out to a friend in the HVAC maintenance and repair business who used to work…read morein the Tampa Bay area and asked him to give me a referral as I wanted to switch from the company I was using and find someone else to do my annual maintenance and repairs. Without hesitation, my friend referred me to Wes with Rossi Air Conditioning and Heating and he came out and did an annual service for me. During that service appointment, Wes told me my capacitor and contactor should be replaced as they were quite possibly original to the unit and it was 22 years old at the time. Fast forward to July 2024. I was about to call and schedule my annual service, and I heard the fan motor on my A/C unit start squealing intermittently, being afraid that it could go out at any minute, I was cautious about using it, and of course, the motor ended up going out over the weekend. So, I called Wes to get on his schedule and he fit me in the next day. When he showed up I had done some of the work for him by removing the motor and blower wheel housing; however, the blower wheel was rusted on the motor shaft and wouldn't come off without a puller. Wes was able to remove it and save me a lot of money as who knows if we would have been able to find another blower wheel for such an old unit. Wes is awesome and I can offer no higher recommendation for him and his company to anyone needing HVAC service and repair in the Tampa Bay area.
