Dr. Soltani is a soft-spoken, affable man that puts you at ease when you enter his office. He is professional and excellent at what he does...but there's the rub. Dr. Soltani's sole job is to declare his (often unwitting) "patients" as addicts, primarily as I understand it--and have experienced--for purposes of family law disputes. Have you ever taken medication, as properly prescribed by a doctor, for anxiety or depression? You're an addict. Have you ever consumed alcohol and become drunk (at least once in your life) or had a hangover (again, once will suffice). You're an alcoholic. Have you ever taken pain medication, even after surgery? You're an addict in immediate need of rehab. Jesus' trip to Cana would make him an alcoholic under Dr. Soltani's standards.
DO NOT be fooled into meeting with Dr. Soltani; you will leave his office branded with the scarlet letter of addiction for the rest of your life--and more importantly, any custody battle or divorce proceedings. A report of his is taken as gospel by the family law courts...not read, mind you; seeing his name on a report is enough to convince a judge or magistrate to treat you like a junkie. Echoing a prior comment, he works in tandem with Dr. Johnson, who will bleed thousands of dollars from you before he issues his foregone conclusion. Engraved somewhere in Dr. Johnson's office is his mantra: "Given Dr. Soltani's report, I just don't want to take any chances."
Afforded the opportunity, Dr. Soltani (and his compatriot Dr. Johnson) will take everything from you: your money, your reputation, and most importantly, your child or children. DO NOT give them that chance. read more
