Had one appt and then he gave up on my son. Worst experience for my son to have a therapist not want to see him again.

Dr. Tobin, is very pleasant to work with. He's professional, courteous, and effective. I also appreciate his intellectual curiosity.

I'm incredibly grateful for my therapy sessions with Michael. From the very beginning, he created a…read moresafe and judgment-free space where I felt truly heard. He's extremely patient, takes the time to really listen, and is thoughtful in how he responds to your needs rather than rushing the process. I came into therapy knowing I had a lot of healing to do, and Michael met me exactly where I was. His calm presence and genuine care made it easier to open up and work through things at my own pace. Each session felt intentional, supportive, and grounding. If you're looking for a therapist who truly listens, respects your journey, and supports real healing, I highly recommend Michael.

I've been to highly regarded therapists who spread out meetings for months, consuming unnecessary time and investment. His superpower is that he epitomized complete altruism with laser sharp discernment and focused attention that facilitated deep healing of emotional wounds so buried I didn't even know they existed. He also leaves the door open for further growth and healing without feeling locked into a contractual relationship. Honestly he should patent his Method for all coaches to follow! I give him the highest possible rating and encourage others to not hesitate reaching out to him.

I was in therapy to work on my fear of death as well as anxiety and depression issues. In the few months I was working with Shapiro he kept trying to bring conversations around to my sex life - even when the discussion had nothing to do with that. I called him out on it and he essentially gas lit me into believing that I wasn't trusting the therapy process and was having too strong of a reaction. I held off writing a review on him for over a year out of shame and fear. He made me feel gross and uncomfortable. I'm glad this was not in person sessions. Would not recommend him for any women. Best choice I made was parting ways with him. EDIT: I have a lot that I could say to address some of the material in Shapiro's response, but for the sake of putting this behind me, I won't. I've said my piece.

He is very opened minded as well. This review was long overdue. Sorry Doc. Thank you again for everything !
