Not bad... not bad at all!
A group of five of us dropped in in the early evening, some wanting a full meal, and others just tapas. We were seated right away and the waiter (a true polyglot) was readily available.
One of our group ordered a gluten-free pizza and another a calzone. The pizza looked very good (he said it really was, although he didn't offer to share ;-), and the calzone was enormous... large enough that she could only eat half of it, and took the rest home.
As for the tapas: We had Patatas Bravas (the sauce was pretty good, although it could have turned up the heat a notch); the Padrón Peppers were also good, but could have been on the fire just a little bit longer. I enjoyed the Croquetas de Jamón, but my wife thought they were a little too... creamy. Well the beer was cold, the tea was hot, and oh yeah - my wife and another in our group (a Brit) asked for black tea with milk. What they brought out was a steaming mug of milk with a teabag in it. Neither enjoyed the taste, and asked them to bring a black tea with hot milk on the side. No problem!
I thought the price point for a restaurant near some major hotels and the Sants railway station was spot on. The food was good, the waitstaff was friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to go back. read more
