Thanks to my husband's suggestion and my surgeon's referral, I contacted Mallory at Solos to help care for me post jaw surgery. Words can not adequately express the spectacular care that Mallory, Lisa and Ashley provided. Their professionalism, knowledge and experience was top-notch, but it was their compassion, warmth and empathy that made all the difference. Even before my procedure, Mallory and Lisa took the time to visit with me at my home to discuss the details of my surgery, post-op expectations and to provide extremely valuable suggestion to assist in my recovery. Lisa cared for me my first night home from the hospital as well as the entire second day. Even though I did my best to estimate the shifts that would make sense for my home care, it was nearly impossible to accurately plan post surgery needs. Meanwhile, Lisa was completely flexible with her time, significantly adjusting her original schedule to accommodate my me. While Lisa assistance with my care and healing were indispensable, I felt like I had made a very special new friend in the short time we spent together. Two days after returning home, I passed out twice within minutes around 6:30am. My husband called 911 and sent a text to Mallory to alert her to my condition. Mallory responded immediately and contacted Lisa as well. I had to be rushed back to the hospital by ambulance as I had lost a lot a blood and my vitals were crashing. I felt very weak, dizzy and scared, but felt a huge sense of relief and comfort when I saw Lisa waiting for me in the ER as they wheeled me in on the gurney. Lisa was right by my side the entire morning until I was stabilized. After another three nights in the hospital, I was released to go home and Mallory arranged for Ashley to care for me. On the way to meet me at the hospital and help me prepare for my discharge, Ashley very thoughtfully sent a text to see if she could bring me a smoothie (I was on a liquid diet). Once again, I provided with the best care imaginable. Still feeling very dizzy and on the verge of passing out at any moment, Ashley was by my side every second and was proactive with valuable suggestions that clearly prevented another fainting episode. Throughout the entire process, Mallory and her "Dream Team" made me feel as if I was their only client and top priority. They were always in touch with my husband and me, which provided us great comfort. As I was being prepped for surgery, I received comforting texts and encouraging messages from Mallory. On her return from an out of town conference, Mallory went the extra step of visiting me in the hospital (with a beautiful flower arrangement in hand!) to see how I was doing. Two weeks post surgery, Mallory followed up with a call to see how I was progressing and two days later, I received the kindest hand written thank you note from her. In each of these instances, Mallory's sincerity and genuine concern for me and my health was crystal clear. I recently engaged Solos services for my outpatient surgery and I could not have been more satisfied or impressed by the care and service I received from my first consultation with them through all of their follow-up. Overall, it was a great experience for me. I have had several outpatient procedures that required me to be picked up by a known person and have someone to monitor me at home for the first few hours. Because I live alone, it is not always easy to ensure I can have someone to pick me up and provide some assistance on arrival, so being able to use a service like Solos is important. Solos' services were recommended by my surgeon's office and they were also highly respected at the outpatient surgical center where my procedure was done. When I first contacted Mallory, she was extremely efficient and thorough in understanding my medical history and my upcoming procedure. Her explanation of their services and their value immediately instilled me with a great deal of confidence. Everything about my experience with Solos was perfect. Scheduling was easy, and they had a defined package that fit my needs. I was particularly happy that both Mallory and my nurse advocate Lisa called me on the day before my procedure, a Sunday, to see how I was doing and if I was prepared. It was very comforting and a help with the usual anxiety before such procedures. On the day of my surgery, Lisa was already there when I awoke and involved as I was prepared so I could leave. She was very friendly, professional and caring in getting me home safely. At home, she helped me get comfortable and made sure my medications were in order and that the dosage record my surgeon provided was maintained. It was good to have a professional who made sure I hydrated, ate properly and woke up and got mobile when necessary. Left to myself, I probably would have slept for several hours and woke up dehydrated, weak and not feeling so great. Lisa also monitored my mood and pain levels and ensured I did not have any immediate or potential complications. She had reviewed the post-op orders from my doctor and made sure to highlight that I needed to be vigilant about the orders. When I was ready to be left alone, she made one more check to make sure I was safe and comfortable. I truly believe this made my recovery better and more effective and more comfortable. Both Lisa and Mallory followed up to make sure I was doing well in the week afterward which was also comforting. I could not be more satisfied with my choice of Solos' services and would strongly recommend them should you require this type of service for your health care needs. My mom recently had a very significant surgical procedure done that required intense home care for the immediate post-surgical days following. I was already scheduled to fly out to be with her to help out; however, I felt unsure of how to best make her comfortable, signs to watch out for should complications arise, medication administration as well as the tips, tricks and secrets of surgical recovery to set her up for the best surgical recovery success and help her along the way as I have no medical background. I stumbled upon the Solos website and felt an instant need to reach out and schedule their help to be there alongside myself for the initial phases of my mom's recovery. Mallory was absolutely fantastic on the phone for the many, many questions my sister and I both had for her regarding what to expect for my mom and how best to prepare for her recovery. The nurses assigned to us, Lisa and Danielle, they were truly the best....the BEST! I arrived approximately 24 hours after the completion of my mother's surgery and Solos had been there with her all of the time post surgery until I was able to fly out there. Lisa was with my mom in surgical recovery as she came out of sedation and drove my mother home, got her all set up in my mom's home, administered medication, etc. Danielle spent the first night with my mom - sitting right alongside her monitoring and helping the whole time. Upon my arrival, Lisa showed me how best to help my mother move around, position her, the various protocols, the medication schedule, etc..... She made me feel right at ease like I could handle taking care of my mom through the immediate recovery days following. I scheduled Solos daily for little blocks here and there so that I myself could go to the gym and the grocery and just run simple errands for my mom....which was both a nice reprieve for me, and also just a little break...while also feeling confident knowing that she was in the best of hands. Lisa and Danielle were so knowledgeable regarding all of my questions and all of my "what-if's" and they also were simply delightful to get to know! I recently used Solos after an outpatient surgery I had. I initially intended to use them only as a way to get home after surgery without having to ask a friend to drive me. They won't leave you alone at home so I reluctantly agreed to have Lisa take me to my friend's home instead. Turns out it was very helpful and comforting to have Lisa stay with me at my friend's house for a few hours. So comforting in fact that the next day I ended up having Lisa bring me home from my friend's house to get me settled at my own place and to show me how to shower taking care not to disturb the surgical site too much. Thanks so much to Solos. What a GREAT service they offer. Also, I had spoken to Mallory several times while gathering info and to eventually schedule the service. She ended up riding along when Lisa brought me to my friend's after the surgery. It was so nice to meet her. Both Lisa and Mallory are super sweet and caring people. I had a quick surgery out of town to help my vision and was recommended by my doctor to contact Solos-Concierge Nurse Patient services to help get me back up on my feet. I had contacted Mallory the owner to see if someone on her crew was available to assist me get home after surgery and get setup for a week of recovery. From the 1st call with her I felt I would be fine to get home from the procedure with this total stranger and that I would be in excellent hands only to find out it was very true. I was in excellent hands and only met her right after I got out of recovery and she got me home and all taken care of. She followed the next couple days to make sure I was doing what I needed to ensure I would have a speedy recovery out there solo. I had a wonderful experience with Mallory and Solos Nursing. I was traveling alone to San Francisco for surgery and needed to arrange for care in my hotel room after being discharged. I spoke with Mallory before surgery and her kind and caring demeanor immediately put me at ease. The care itself was fantastic. I was lucky enough to have two nurses with me after surgery: Mallory and Becky. They accompanied me from the clinic to the hotel and helped me settle in for my week-long recovery stay. Returning home after surgery is difficult. You need to shower, ice, deal with dressings, drains,medications. You are in pain. You are a mess. My Nurse, Linda helped me with everything. I felt comfortable, cared for, clean and calm when she walked through the door. Linda prepared a list of my medications and recorded the time they were administered. She drove me to my early post surgical appointments She was so caring and kind. This is an excellent service with an outstanding team. Very professional. Lisa L and Solos Nurse was way above and beyond what I expected. I live alone and needed post-surgery care: drive home, getting settled, meds, food, everything. Mallory and I discussed and agreed what should work best for me. I paid online, which is always easiest for me. Lisa checked in a couple weeks before the surgery to say hello. She drove me home from surgery and took absolutely wonderful care of me. Lisa made sure I took my meds, stayed hydrated, fed me, helped me bathe, and even walked my dog! We are just winter residents usually, but had returned to Scottsdale for better medical care.
