We were passing through Twin Falls, Idaho on a Friday afternoon before the Labor Day weekend, when…read moreour Ford F350 truck (also towing a 5th Wheel RV) started to malfunction. We were limping down the freeway at 35 MPH, in an 80 MPH zone. We called 2 other places first, the Ford Dealer and some other company, both could not see us for at least 2 weeks. As we were not from ID, we were completely stranded with a 5th wheel and gimpy truck. We were desperate. Fatefully, Stroke Works answered the phone and we gimped over to their location, where they specialize in performance diesel trucks of many makes and models. There couldn't have been a better fit for our issue. They were kind and EXTREMELY helpful and VERY dedicated to their craft. They had the parts on hand. They stayed late on that Friday to diagnose the issue, all while thoroughly answering our hundreds of questions about when, what, how and how much. They diagnosed the issue as a fuel pump and injector and as some of you may know, that is a MAJOR job, at least on our truck. They had to lift the body completely off the chassis to access the parts. They stayed late on the Friday before the 3 day weekend when most others would have said, "Sorry, we are closed for the weekend." They recruited their workforce to help us out and work ALL DAY on that Saturday. When others would be out "playing" for the weekend, they were working on our truck. They made us their priority. They accommodated our trailer for the day. They made us feel as if we were the most important customer they had. They did the job expertly and in a timely manner. We felt completely confident in the work they did and were very compassionate about our situation. They showed us exactly what the issue was, showed us the parts, told us step by step what they were going to do and exactly how. It would almost be worth driving the 600 miles every time our truck needed service to have them do it. Most importantly, they did the job correctly in our extremely urgent situation and we made it the last 638 miles of our journey! I CANNOT say enough about their service and quality! His insurance provider, USAA reached out and gave me two auto and body business numbers to have the work done, I called and they told me to bring the truck in for an estimate. I went to the business and noticed there was one car there. The employee came out and evaluated the damage, giving me an estimate. I didn't feel comfortable with this place so I decided to look them up on YELP. They had no reviews and just by seeing that there was only one car there I decided to get another estimate with Idaho Collision. I looked up Idaho Collision and they had 5 reviews...not much BUT they were all good reviews. I guess I am just use to Southern California, we make sure to do reviews, so that others can make wise decisions. When I arrived at Idaho Collision, the owner came out and gave us an estimate. His estimate was a little higher then the business we had been sent to but the difference was Idaho Collision was going to completely replace the panel with a new one and the other place was going to bondo the panel. I was sooo happy with his work and the final result. I would highly recommend this business for any kind of auto repair. I do not have pictures of the finished work. I was so happy with the results, I forgot to take pictures. I will upload them when I get back to the house.

Wow. Five stars isn't enough--this was six star service. After a tire blowout in the middle of a…read more1600 mile road trip, our RV exhaust got bent upwards and was feeding right into the coach. On a Friday afternoon. We called all around town and were thinking we would be stranded in twin falls for a few days or weeks--until we reached Rick at Lammers Truck Center. He graciously stayed open a bit late so we could get towed there and then worked after hours to get us back on the road. We were in the perfect position to be taken advantage of, but Rick was honest, straightforward, and when I continually, profusely apologized to him he would stop me in my tracks and say "That's why we're here." He was also one heck of a mechanic, fixing our issue in less time than expected and charging a very fair price. Truck and auto troubles are not fun, but I can't help but think we were fortunate to have the issues we did when we did, otherwise we would never have found Lammers and some of the best service we've ever experienced.
