Dr. Miller and the entire staff are simply terrific! He was referred by my GP (Dr. Brad Gates)…read moreand it was one of the best decisions I've made to make an appointment. Dr. Miller has a very easy going and gentle personality..., which is intangibly important to me and my wife! My initial reason for seeing him was due to my left shoulder causing me pain. Ironically, I had a skiing accident that resulted in a tear of my MCL just prior to seeing Dr. Miller initially. After an MRI, he treated the MCL tear and shoulder pain with PT initially and didn't rush me into making a surgical decision. In addition, he gave me a cortisone shot for the shoulder which released the pain. The MCL healed nicely without any further procedure being required; however after 6 months the shoulder did get worse due to a separate but freak accident, so we decided that surgery was the only option that would relieve the pain permanently. This was the best decision, because the arthroscopic procedure revealed a massive tear of the supraspinatus which required 6 anchors instead of the normal 4 to reattach it properly. The entire experience has been outstanding and thankfully, the pain has been minimal. You can probably tell I really think the world of Dr. Miller and would recommend him to anyone who needs orthopedic care mostly because of his extensive experience and thorough approach.

My favorite doctor retired. (Dr Rodgers). And Thank God, Seth left too! What a horrible PA!!…read more I've been with this practice since 1996. That's a long time. I had my first surgery with Adam's at that time. I swapped over to Rodgers after my initial surgery. I have now come full circle. I've never forgotten why I initially left Adam's as my original doctor. I was left with significant scars after that surgery. The pain management left many bad memories. Time has not faded either of those. He does employ the most incredible PA. I had to use her for an injection. She's gentle and genuine. Whenever, I feel the need to have a knee replacement, I will begin my journey for a replacement doctor. For now, I'll continue with injections from the PA. July 2023

I was outsourced by VA community care for my bilateral carpal tunnel surgeries (and for those who…read moredon't know, all outsourced care by the VA is paid for by TriWest -this will help to understand this review). First and foremost, Dr Adams, Kendra (PA) and the rest of the surgical team were great from start to finish - 5 s. As for the admin/billing part (Methodist Health System) -they get a sub par review. VA Community Care sends out the referral, a TriWest authorization # and the dates the referral is good for promptly after it is decided that a patient will be going outside of the VA hospital for medical care. For me, this was not the first time I've been outsourced for care in the civilian sector BUT this is the first time that I've had difficulty with billing -and it was not just one time to where everything that proceeded would not have any issues. From the initial surgery to the follow ups on the second surgery, I have had to have multiple conversations with billing/admin with me stating the same thing over and over again. They tell me that I need to submit an insurance card, I respond that we do not receive those [as veterans getting medical care through the VA]. I explained multiple times that VA community care sent out a referral and that it is fully paid by TriWest and have even called community care, where they informed me that ALL the information needed is in the referral. Community care sends the referral again noting that this is all the information that was needed for my care. I received my first surgery at the beginning of April 2025, had my post op appts and go into my second surgery 4wks later in June 2025. At various points, I get the same push back from billing/admin with more [frustrated] follow up calls to Community Care about the pushback. After my second surgery, I receive a bill from Methodist through their MyChart program, I contacted Community care and they immediately clear up those charges. My last appt (12Sept25) was made due to still having residual issues from the second surgery. Upon arrival at the clinic, I go through the same "we need a copy of the insurance card" routine BUT this time, they REFUSE me from attending my appt. I called community care once again to tell them what had happened, submitted a message through the MyChart system requesting a new appt (and attached the information from my referral in the message). It is now 22Sept25, and I have not received a response to set up further appts. My residual issues specifically affect my duties/tasks as a firefighter/paramedic, the time on my referral is close to expiration now and I am left to find other sources/solutions for these issues. From where I stand, it appears that Methodist does not properly educate their staff about how to properly handle patients who are fully funded by the VA system. And what really bothers me is that I know my records show that all of my bills are handled, and also what source (TriWest) handled the bill ...

I had already sent in my information via the patient portal. No one reads that stuff. All places will ask you the same questions again and again. Patient questionnaires need updating clear across the board, at every medical facility. So no wait for me to see the MD. Dr Chambers, took the time to explain options and possible outcomes. Extremely informative visit. Enough time for me to think about what I was getting myself into! Dr Chambers forwarded his findings to my orthopedic surgeon. Surgery was scheduled the following week. I had knee surgery a few month ago, and needed some rehab. My wife had seen Averi Garcia at Texas…read moreSpine & Rehab for a previous injury, so I figured I'd engage her for mine. I worked with her for nearly four months as my knee recovered and I was able to rebuild the strength needed to walk correctly. In short, I could not be happier with Averi and TS&R. Averi was able to articulate what was going on with my knee, my hip and my ankle. She prescribed me some exercises, answered my questions, and physically worked my leg with her hands until everything was in the right place and working properly. Besides her knowledge and experience, Averi was a pleasure to talk to, and was patient and understanding with me throughout the process. She never pressed me to work harder or lose weight. She did make suggestions for walking on crutches effectively and what exercises to do at the gym. I cannot recommend Averi and her team enough for anyone in need to physical therapy. Whether you are a student athlete, recovering from an injury, or just working to increase your strength or flexibility, you can't do better than Averi and TS&R.
