Solo liquor was my stop the other night because I work at the Starbucks next door, and I had a stressful shift at work and a bottle of red wine was calling my name. It said "drink me, I'm delicious." So I obeyed. How can I refused red wine?
Solo Liquor isn't a very big liquor store, like Coop or Safeway, so the selection is smaller, but it isn't as small as some of the other liquor stores in town (and there are quite few liquor stores in Leduc). Prices seems okay compared to other places I've been to, but of course that depends on what type of liquor you are buying. My bottle of Spanish Red Wine (because I was making tinto verano) was $12. It wasn't the best wine I've had, but not the worst either.
I usually shop at Safeway because of Airmiles or Coop because of the selection, but for convenience Solo Liquor is nice. Prices are good even if the selection is small. If I have another bad day at work I'll be back here again, purchasing a bigger bottle of wine. read more
