The cleaning that Richard from Solo Chem-Dry did for our new property was better than I imagined it could be. The carpet was so deeply soiled, stained, and rippled. I know that it is at least 11 years old and has never been cleaned prior to this. The difference is night and day. The carpet color is a deep cream color and it looks almost new. I recommend the company and technician Richard highly. read more

What a great job cleaning my carpets! Richard came out last week and made my carpets look sooo good! They are light colored berber carpets, about 20 years old. Still in good shape but you could see tracking through the rooms. I've had them steam-cleaned before and the tracking didn't come out. But with the Chem-Dry method and Richard's careful and thorough work cleaning them, they look brand new. There's only the slightest amount of shadow in the doorway to the main bedroom but you have to know it's there to notice. Very happy with the method and the service! read more

Solo chemdry is absolutely the BEST! Richard was courteous, on time, and did a FANTASTIC job. With a "few" doggie episodes Richard used his magic potion. He vacuumed and moved furniture. Richard is exceptional at what he does. I will always use SOLO ChemDry and if your smart you will too. Thank you Richard read more

Our carpets are CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!!!!! They feel and look GREAT! It had probably been at least 10 years since the last clean...and although the house is a seasonal house and we don't wear our shoes inside the house, it still had its fair share of nail polish, spills, ash from the fireplace and food stains on it from over the years. NOT ANYMORE!!! I was especially worried about the RED nail polish stains, but he was able to get them out and what a relief! It's just so satisfying to walk into our house now and not see little ash smudges from the fireplace or little food-based stains here and there. Really makes a difference to the eye and to the soul. Our tech was very nice and knowledgeable and thorough. So glad we got this done and it was very affordable! We had our living room and 2 bedrooms cleaned and I was very happy with the price...especially because we opted for the Sanitizing treatment in addition to the clean. Highly recommend! read more

This company is great! I needed my couch cleaned and it was a relatively new couch. They took their time and cleaned every spot off of it perfectly.! They were both wearing masks and had great respect for Covid and social distancing. I was very comfortable with them being in my house. Elmer and Jose did an amazing job for me. They moved the couch out that they were cleaning and didn't disrupt anything around it. Also, I noticed they were cleaning some spots on the carpet which I hadn't even asked them to do. They both went above and beyond what I expected. Thank you Sunnyhills Chem Dry! If you have any furniture that needs cleaning, they will do an amazing job. read more

I requested a quote and got a response right away. It's a bit pricey but worth it. I called for an appointment, and they were flexible with my schedule. Everyone I spoke or messaged with was nice and efficient. Jose came over to treat my sectional. He was super nice and worked quickly and wasn't annoyed with my four-year-olds questions! My sectional looks good as new. I'm very pleased. read more

o needed a irine spot removed from new 5 day old area rug...when i called iwas told it would be 60 plus additional for cleaning solution if needed. I agreed when the tech ca,e he sais they would have to charge me for the whole rug, i pointed out this was not fair as i did not want all the furniture moved etc. he stated he had called Nd they would chrge me for the carpet out of desperation i agreed. i was chathwd for a 10x12 carpet....looking at the invoice for same it is 8x10. My total bill was 470.00! i then called the company and was told a manager would call me back the person confirmed she had stated $60.00 said it was a mistke on her part. It has now been a week...no one hs contacted me and when i leave a message it is not returned! Do not deal with this company if you have any questions make certain they are addressed before they start the job very disappointed as they were reccomended by mny in my area who are just as appaled as i am regrding this. Hope this info saves you grief! read more

These guys are amazing! Reliable, professional and exceeded my expectations. I found the price to be reasonable and Jose did such a wonderful job I'm hiring him to clean my tile next month. I intend on using this company from now on to clean my carpets bi-annually from this point forward. Thank you Jose! read more

I'm giving it a pre 5 Star rating because of Elmer and Jose. They were both friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and they worked their butt off. Elmer discussed all the services they provide. He then recommended the service he thought we needed after discussing our household dynamics. This also included a pet oder problem. He then desribed in detail the process from start to finish. After they completed the cleaning process he requested we look it over to ensure our satisfaction. He informed us and showed us a stain he could not totally remove. To tell you the truth, we never noticed it before. He is very detailed and customer service oriented We shall see how the carpet looks in a few weeks. Thank you Elmer and Jose! read more

I will start by saying THANK YOU Andres!!!! You are an absolute asset to your employer. You made this 20 year old carpet SPARKLE by completely removing stains that only dogs can make! Thank you for my beautiful clean carpets and for your superior service!!! We will call again! read more

I was so impressed! Service was prompt, courteous and professional. I had a very ingrained hair oil stain on an expensive wool-upholstered chair that I had given up on. I tried recommended tactics but none worked (and I didn't want to ruin the chair). The cleaner restored the chair to perfection. He also did my sofa and dining chairs. I am VERY happy with the results and plan to hire them again. read more

Solo Chem-Dry - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Palm Desert, California

I called three carpet cleaners before deciding on Sunny Hills, because I liked how they give quotes - by square footage, not by areas of cleaning. Jose and Elmer came out right on time and they were very professional, courteous and I can't say enough about how hard they worked! They went over problem areas time and time again, and were very good about moving the couches, chairs and tables to clean everywhere. These guys did an amazing job in the bedrooms, living room, dining room and hallways, and were good to explain where they found old problems that were too far gone to be 100% cleaned. We already knew about those areas, and as for all the rest of the carpet - it looked better than it did when we moved in! Jose and Elmer are the ultimate pros. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!! read more

Erick did the best! Our carpets have never been so clean. If we could give him 10 stars we would. He did not rush and made sure everything was done right. He also explained what he could do and what he may have a problem with, it was refreshing to have someone come into our home that respected us enough to let us know each step be step. Erick also let us know the cost before doing the job. Which was well worth it. Please call Sunny Hill Chem-dry, we have used other carpet cleaning services this is the only review, I felt they deserved the best review, and we would Highly recommend. read more

This is my second time going here for a good deep cleaning of my car seats. I drive a Toyota Corolla with fabric seats and always manage to get random stains over time. The staff is super friendly and Elmer assured me that my car was in good hands. He's very honest and definitely part of why I'll keep going back. I'll for sure be spreading the word about this spot. Great prices and so worth it! read more

Elmer was the person I dealt with, and he was very thorough, polite, and professional. He spent longer doing all of my floors than either of us imagined, but both the downstairs tiles and the upstairs wall-to-wall carpet (with two year old pet stains!) came out great! Highly recommend him and his company. read more

Omg. Im overjoyed i brought my car here!! Elmer did a freaking fantastic job and there is no funky smell left over from the cleaning solutions. I never thought my old 2003 carpets would be able to look brand new again!! so extatic. Thank you elmer for taking the time to be so thorough and detailed. normally im the nit-picky one, but i didnt have to be since you already were. i will be recommending you to everyone! read more

All my stains came right back a couple days later. They charged me $500 to clean 3 rooms and some throw rugs. When they returned my throw rugs after taking g them to their shop to clean them, they wanted an additional $250 because they didn't add in the cleaning products correctly. They overcharged me and the stains all came right back! I feel I got completely ripped off. read more

We had just moved and our white leather sofa looked pretty bad. I reached out to Sunny Hills Chem-Dry and they set me up an appointment for later in the week. Our technician was Jose, and he was a miracle worker. Our sofa and chairs look almost new. I work from home, so I also needed it to be quiet while I was on the phone, he was fast and efficient and the only time I heard him was when he would tell me about each step he was taking in the process. I will never go anywhere else! read more

Corresponded with the owner on Yelp and obtained an estimate for two area rugs for $120. When the employee arrived, he told me the actual price would be nearly $700. I showed him the correspondence with his boss but he said that must have been a "mistake". Sent him packing. read more

This is the second time I've used Sunny Hills Chem-Dry. The first to get dirt off of a brand new white sofa cushion. And just now to remove a stain on a chair - the result of a hand cream spill. The stain looked pretty hopeless (see picture below) as it looked like it destroyed the velvet. Yet these guys once again made a treasured piece of furniture good as new. (See photos below.) Service is fast, friendly, and responsive. If you need a stain removed, don't try to treat it yourself (you risk making it worse.) Pick up the phone (fast!) and call these guys. They're miracle workers. read more

Erick came by this morning after calling me to introduce himself and let me know he was on his way. He did a great job and took time to let my dog sniff him and get comfortable with him. Will keep contact for next cleaning, thanks!!! 3 rooms and living room plus a walk in closet cleaned! read more

Some issues with when they were open, but very quick turnaround and a nice job on a soiled white carpet.

They did an awesome job and the guy who did the job was very friendly and professional. Our carpets looked horrible in a few spots and he made them look almost new. I called in the afternoon and they were at my house by 8am the next day. Thanks for such a great job! read more

Solo Chem-Dry - After cleaning. - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Palm Desert, California

We called Sunny Hills Chem-Dry based on previous excellent experiences. This time around was a major challenge - we had just given our old living room furniture away to charity, and had new living room furniture being delivered in two days. After the old furniture was picked up, we realized that the extent of wear, mold, staining and fading on the original 30 year old carpet (where the old furniture had been) was absolutely frightening. We did not want to have to buy new carpet, and prayed Chem Dry might be able to help us out just a little. We made an appointment for the next day, and Andres called 15 minutes before arrival to confirm he was on his way. When he arrived we showed him his challenge, and he quickly went to work. He went though a multi-step process of vacuuming, sanitizing, shampooing, extracting, and raking that was simply outstanding and somewhat astounding. Believe me, you cannot make a 30 year old carpet look like new, but the refreshed carpet looked absolutely nothing like it had before Andres' arrival. My wife and I were stunned, elated, relieved and astonished - it looked so good! I know the new furniture will look great on the old but very much cleaned carpet, and the work was done on time, quickly, thoroughly and thoughtfully. Andres rates a 10+, borderline 11 (out of 10) for his great work. Thanks so much Andres, and than you Chem Dry. We will never use anyone else! read more

Andres was a very nice young man. I am happy with the job done on my couch. I am a little disappointed about what I was told over the phone when I called to set up the appointment. I let the man know the size of my couch and that it was down filled. He told me it would be between 300.00 to 400.00 for my couch. I explained I really could not pay more than 300.00. He than said he would work with me. When Andres arrived he told me it will cost $470.00 and he gave me the disinfectant for free which is normally $30.00. He also let me know it was not in his paperwork that my couch was down filled. And this apparently upped my cost. I ended up going through with it and glad they did a decent job. I'm thinking maybe not a good idea to give people pricing over the phone or say he will work with them. And make sure communication between co workers is stronger. They were very nice people though and I do appreciate that. read more

This was the worst carpet cleaning experienceI'vee ever had. I bought a cleaning for my 70-year-old mother on her move out day for $199. when they arrived, of course, they wanted to upsell her which she declined because she is on a budget. they then said they would call the office and see what they could do. they came back and said they could do the per treatment for $75 which she did. she then said she would go across the street to borrow more money. They demanded $100 cash up front to start (which we found odd) she obliged and [aid them. then upon returning the technician said somebody must have stolen part of the cash they gave her and wanted her to pay them again. They were shady from the start, with a fake phone call to the office, the high pressure upsell and last but not least the mystery missing money. After all, that was without a doubt the worst carpet cleaning we have ever had. it smelled 100 times worse than before like they just put hot water on the carpet and left it. the carpet was wet and musky for 2 days! We ended renting a rug doctor from the store and doing the whole house ourselves. we then called tto talked to a manager who stated they did everything right, there technicians would never lie and he was sure our carpet was clean. they were defensive from the beginning of the call and offerered nothing, not even an apology. it took the manager 5 days to not call us back and finally we called him. it seems like a very poorly run business that does a hard upsell and takes advantage of seniors. all I can say is stay away, if something goes wrong they will not help fix the problem. Zero out of five stars. but it was the worst customer service of any business transaction i've ever been part of I can say that lol **UPDATE** to your response, you guys are liars. just a few thieves trying to scam the elderly read more

I got a quote of $120 for living room and 2 bedrooms contingent upon the rooms not being too large. Upon the technicians arrival, i was quoted an extra $60 to treat the high traffic areas, $60 to sanitize and another $60 for protective treatment. Seems like treatment for a the high traffic areas should be standard. Unfortunately for us we made a 2 hour drive to a rental property to be there for the cleaning so we didn't have much choice but to go ahead. The carpet looks much better but even. In 90 degree weather with doors open and fans going, the carpet took over 5 hours for us to feel comfortable returning the furniture They were accommodating in moving up our appointment time when one became available and called to let us know when the technician was on his way also gave us a $20 discount read more
