Our kitchen was already designed, but had we needed them, they do offer full design services. We worked with Juan, who was very helpful in going over every detail, and making sure our cabinets fit the design specs to the inch. He also went over details like hinges, soft close slides, and heavy duty slides for those large cabinet drawer things, for plates. He helped us with a lot of details we would not have known to check. He also had some tricks of the trade, like getting a nice large size trash-drawer with a trash can that fits a full kitchen bag, and then using the same thing for recycling too. (A lot of people we know have kitchen remodels with undersized trash cans, and it is so annoying.) Juan was really keen on every little detail, and he was really kind and helpful about making sure we went over what we would have impatiently dismissed, and regretted later. When we wanted to add something after placing the order, he was on call to get it done, and made sure everything was still available on time. They called when our order was ready, and delivered to our home with fast and friendly service. We even had a minor complaint, which was directed at the manufacturer of our cabinets and not Malvern Kitchen & Bath, which was that they did not supply us with enough little rubber bumper things to keep the doors and drawers from rubbing the frames. No problem. Malvern Kitchen & Bath didn't want us to wait for the manufacturer to send something, so they furnished all the bumpers we needed, at no charge. It was really a nice touch. Later, we decided to adjust a part of the kitchen, and Juan was able to order us the cabinet part we needed, with no issues. It came quickly and all went smoothly as usual. Malvern Kitchen & Bath is in a converted house, on 30 across from Berwyn Pizza. They have it set up as a showroom with kitchen and bathroom room models, and samples all over. It is organized, clean, and attractive. They have some beautiful brands on display, and some very luxe options on everything kitchen and bath. (We loved the "Plain and Fancy" cabinets, which had inset doors and drawers, and some beautiful primitive finishes... dreaming of the next kitchen already!) They are very professional, offer very fair and reasonable pricing, and can give you as much or as little service as desired, everything from taking over until you have a turnkey space, to a-la-carte ordering one item at a time. We were very pleased with the work he and his colleagues did, have asked him to do other work on our house, and recommend him strongly. Johnanthony brings to his work excellent building skills, great intelligence and creativity, perseverance, honesty, kindness, and friendliness--and a fine sense of humor, an important asset in dealing with the frustrations of renovation work. And there were a lot of frustrations on our jobs. Our house was not well designed, and many shortcuts were taken in its construction. Being a kitchen-and-bath-renovation general contractor is a very difficult profession, as you're constantly fitting new wiring, plumbing, appliances, and other work--all the fundamental systems that make a house work--into an existing structure, rather than being able to "start fresh". In our case, the difficulty was increased by the "inherited" problems in our house. And we had problems with delays and incorrect shipments from suppliers, and we caused some problems by changing our minds about some things. Throughout all of this, Johnanthony worked hard and thoughtfully to solve problems, to figure out new ways of doing things as the structure of the house required initial plans to be modified. When problems came up, he worked with us to solve them. When we had warranty issues--bad finish jobs on a couple of our cabinet doors--he made sure that the vendor replaced them, and installed the new ones at no cost to us. Johnanthony was very consultative with us and made it clear that our happiness with our new rooms was his highest priority. We felt that Johnanthony's pricing was fair, and he was very clear about his billing process. We felt that he was completely honest.

They sent someone to template the size of the piece of granite we would need. He did not correctly measure the space, so the piece was cut too small. In addition, he put in that it was a half inch bevel as opposed to a quarter inch bevel. We reached out to the company, as we assumed that mistakes like this should be covered by their warranty. However, although they themselves measured the size of the piece of granite they told us that they were not responsible to correct this mistake as I signed off on the measurement. I am, unfortunately, not an expert in measuring granite and trusted that their staff would measure it correctly. I am extremely disappointed that this company was unable to replace a small piece of granite in our kitchen and was unwilling to work with us to resolve this issue.

I ordered tile for my daughters bathroom and the tile was nothing like the milky pink floor sample. I was not there at installation since we are building and once installed saw there were patches of gray squares throughout. See photos of floor display and then installation photos below. I also ordered my wood flooring through Porcelanosa at the same time. The floor sample and website show a consistent light even grain. Once installed it's a patchy brown mess. See photos below. I was given my money back for the tiles, but that does not help that I would have to pay to have the tile ripped out and then reinstalled again. I asked for the money it cost to install, but that was ignored. I put so much time into choosing the "right" colors for our new house and have felt nothing but disappointment and regret from this company:( The time and money spent and it looks like nothing I was promised.
