I was moving my stuff (general student stuff such as double bed, wardrobe and other furniture, some kitchen stuff, lots of clothes, books, etc) and had a choice between just hiring a van or hiring a man with a van. The former option would have cost more - cos of minimum charges - and I wouldn't have had the extra pair of hands (and his expertise in moving stuff, tools, etc). Keith - the man with the van - was punctual (arrived early). He was very friendly, without being too pushy or in your face - very easy to get along with. He was very helpful - offering to do things without being asked - again without being too pushy - and very calm (I was a bit paranoid about having to park on double yellow lines outside the house but he reasured me). He took care with our possessions (e.g. putting blanket on floor of van to protect furniture, hanging up clothes on rail along side of the van, etc). He provided us with tools (I had forgotten that I needed to reassemble the wardrobe) and help with any aspect of the moving/reassembly. Once we had finished moving all the stuff and installing it in its new home Keith was happy to give me a lift to the train station. Overall a great success from my point of view - made the whole process of moving so much less hassle - next time we're moving digs I'll definitely use Man Van Brighton again. read more

They wasted no time in assuring me that the contents of my 2 bed flat would fit in there extra large Luton van and also the estimated the time the move would take.
