At first, it is a little bit difficult to find. It is located right next to a barbecue restaurant that has a bit of a bigger sign. There's not much for parking, but it has never been an issue for me to find a spot so far. I love how intimate, private, beautiful and homey her studio is. She takes one client at a time, so you feel very comfortable as soon as you walk in. She times out her appointments perfectly. I've never had to wait, and maybe the one or two times I did- it was never more than 2 minutes. She does her job fast and thoroughly and is very knowledgeable in what she does. She's friendly, honest, genuine, informational and trustworthy. You feel comfortable with her. I usually go for underarm and Brazilian. Underarms are a piece of cake. The Brazilian does hurt. Even after going to her the 8th time, it still hurts... but I'm always happy in the end. Her prices are very fair. Around $10 (if I remember correctly) for underarms and $35 for Brazilian. Very happy with this place.

Some of the small, thoughtful touches that made the spa special--like being offered hot tea--are gone. Using the locker rooms to store your belongings and freshen up before you leave is no longer an option either. Instead, you're given a basket and required to awkwardly carry all of your personal belongings with you throughout the visit. One of the biggest disappointments was how they handled our group's experience. While some of us were receiving massages and facials, they had booked a private steam and sauna appointment at the same time. Because of this, one member of our party was demanded to leave the spa in her robe and told she could either wait in the public waiting area or leave the building entirely. They claimed they had nowhere for her to relax while waiting for her next service. I find this completely inappropriate for a spa setting. A guest should never be put in a position where they have to leave in a robe and slippers or redress entirely because of poor scheduling. We had scheduled extra time at the end of our day for steam and sauna, specifically so we could access the locker rooms, yet the way the scheduling was handled made it feel like we were being rushed in and out with no opportunity to truly relax. Had we known, we would have happily scheduled additional time in between services to ensure our entire party could enjoy the spa together without being pushed out. Udånder did acknowledge this was an oversight on their part, but it was a disappointing experience nonetheless. On a positive note, the aesthetician, was outstanding--a true expert in her craft, and I highly recommend her (I wish I could remember her name) . However, if you visit, just know that the value of the overall experience isn't what it used to be. Expect to feel rushed, with no real place to transition in between services. Sadly, the thoughtful, relaxing atmosphere that once made Udånder so special just isn't there for me anymore.

First time at this location, it's very cute and peaceful when you walk inside. Lobby was cozy, we were offered hot tea. Unfortunately, one of our little tea cups did not look washed because there was red lipstick on it. So we didn't try it lol. We had a 12 o'clock noon appointment however one of the masseuse were running late so we did not get started until 1210, which we did not mind, but you can tell they felt rushed and was trying to get us quickly started once he arrived. There was two of us so they put us in the same room for the foot massage. The actual table look like a massage table however, the bottom half you stick your feet inside a detachable tub that was hot water mixed with their products. Despite the voucher being a foot massage, they primarily focused on your feet however, they did massage a bit of our arms, head and back. Honestly, I have the masseuse that was running late. When he massaged my head. All I can smell was cigarettes. It actually gave me a headache. I think it was just my luck with him though. The foot massage part was really nice. I think for $30 this is worth it. But I truly am just somebody who would prefer a full body massage. I would come back again to try their full body massage. If I had another $30 voucher for the same thing, I'd probably do it again too.
