Recently got my solar panels installed at my home. David, a sales representative was super helpful…read moreand assisted me through the beginning stages of the solar install process. Once it was time to put the solar on the house, the guys who came out did a great job installing my solar and were able to finish the install by the time I got home. There was an issue with the electrical box (unknown exactly the issue). I called the solar team and they sent someone to my house within an hour of speaking with me. Ivy and Tony where two solar/electrical technicians that left a memorable impression with me by their outstanding professionalism and customer care.

I received an alert on May 20, 2025 from mySolarEdge that my panels were not producing any solar…read more Upon inspection, I discovered that my panels had not been producing solar since March. When I called mySolarEdge to ask why I did not get consistent notifications, they said it was because the installer, Solar Negotiators, had put themselves as the "owner admin" and receive the notifications. They also informed me that these notifications are free as they are part of the app. I called Solar negotiators back and I was informed that they do get notifications from mySolarEdge. They initially stated that it was my responsibility to inform them of when my solar panels are not working so that they can repair it. However, when I reminded them that I do not even get notifications from my app because they are the owner admin, they admitted that they do receive notifications for my system and that they would normally catch it and reach out to me to repair it. They also stated that they have been busy over the Spring and therefore had not been able to address the issue in a timely manner. They advised me to send them a tru-up bill in order to receive reimbursement. I reached out to a representative on June 4th and provided them with my tru-up bill. However, they would not provide me with any updates or status changes unless I prompted them with emails. Finally, after my fifth prompt, I received an email from a customer representative informing me that I was responsible for notifying them of any loss of power and they would not be able to reimburse me at this time. This is completely different than what I was told on the phone previously. I believe this company was using misinformation and delayed responses in order to not address my issue. In addition, I was never informed that they had control over my account, which I believe is a tactic to force me to either consider paying an additional cost for their monitoring app, "Know Tru-up", or risk not get reimbursed when my system loses power without my knowledge. Edit: Cindy, the Chief Administrative Officer, did reach out to me and was very pleasant in trying to help me. She reached out to Solaredge and was also informed by them that Solar Negotiators did have full administrative access and that they could grant it to me. She attempted to work with making that change but nothing has occurred in the past two weeks. My review still stands but I do appreciate leadership taking accountability and trying to remedy the situation.

So my last review i hadn't made a decision on what company I wanted to install my solar. But after…read morea lot of research and communication with all the companies I went with Jeff's company. I can tell you that it was by far the best decision I've made hiring any company to do a job for me. I've was in construction for 20 years and am very piticular with how things are done and they were awesome from the start and now even after the install!!! I turned my system on but obviously I did something wrong because it didn't work, but I made one call and they came out the next day and it was working great. Everything i call i get an answer from my sales person or a call back very soon after. This was a big issue for me as every company but Jeff's took days and one weeks later to call me back. Only Jeff's salesperson was in contact with me everytime and everystep of the design and installation. So if youre wondering who you should choose for your solar company its Jeff's company!! They are by far the best company I've ever had do a job for me and HIGHLY recommend them to do your job. To the sales staff to the installers...GREAT JOB and God bless you guys!!!

When the generator quit working, I tried to find a service person recommended by the manufacturer. Left messages three places but never heard back. Called Pereira and they got Jeff himself on the line. Sent some pictures of the interior and he diagnosed an oil leak and walked me through how to fix it. Problem solved in under an hour, no expensive service call, the only expense was 2 quarts of oil. After two years, they don't really owe us anything, but clearly they care about their customers. I highly recommend this team, without reservation.

But after looking into five different local companies I realized that each had pros and cons. The super expensive SunPower panels wouldn't get me the same return on investment and the guys who came in with the lowest prices promised warranties to match the big guys, but I couldn't trust that they would stay in business for the entire term (so what's the point??). After weighing my options, Vivint started to float to the top. I like that they are publicly traded and are a nation-wide company, and that they have a fund set aside for warranties that will be there no matter what happens to them. I also like that they have quality panels that aren't overpriced. I ended up purchasing the panels from them for my current house and am really happy with how it's going. The salesman has been very communicative and has answered all my questions in a timely manner. I have a home built in 1941 and they are even going to update my breaker box (hallelujah! It's been rough...). They even had an option for my rental that didn't cost me a dime to install and allows her to have lower rates for power. Kudos to the city of Visalia for being really quick with the permit process! Vivint installed that system in a day only a few weeks after I agreed to the terms! Everybody that came out from the guy who checked the roof to the install team was really nice. I couldn't be happier with their professionalism and customer service. I cant wait to start seeing the savings on my bill! Thanks Vivint Solar!
