The team started the removal on Tuesday but had to leave after 3 panels die to very high winds. I have a 2nd story steep slope roof so is was not safe for the crew. Sarah was very professional rescheduled a crew for Wednesday. Of course it was pouring when they arrived but the wind was not a factor. They removed the 28 panels but had to leave the roof mounts in. If removed I would have leaks all over my 2nd story of my house. Daddario roofing is scheduled for Monday to remove the roof and again Sarah came through. Sarah had a team out Friday morning to remove the roof mounts and we are good to go. Sarah did a amazing job of rescheduling 2 different crews that I am sure were already scheduled to get my job on time. Great work by all!

I recently completed a solar system installation with 18 panels and 2 batteries. Our original goal…read more(as we communicated to the company multiple times) was to fully disconnect from PG&E and rely on our backup generator for power during lengthy poor weather time periods. The initial installation went smoothly, but everything since then has been disappointing & frustrating. The county permitting process was delayed by nearly 8 weeks because the solar installation was not up to code. When they sent out a team to fix the problem, they ordered the wrong insufficient materials because they somehow didn't know the size of the array that they had installed weeks earlier. It eventually passed the county permitting inspection. Then there were problems with functionality during a power outage. During the sales process we voiced multiple concerns around having sufficient battery capacity to sustain multiple days of poor weather. We spent a lot of time & money to have our generator permitted based on this conversation. We were told that our standby generator could be used to recharge the batteries. When a lengthy PG&E outage coupled with bad weather in early January caused our batteries to drain to zero, with no generator charging, I contacted their service department email yet it took them 15 days to respond. They told me that the batteries can never be recharged with the generator and insisted that the prior conversations never occurred. We never would have spent $$$$ on generator permitting if we were told that it was impossible to charge the batteries via the generator. Overall, a very disappointing and experience. While the solar array works fine during good weather, that's not the primary reason why we installed the system. Poor service, dishonesty and incompetence are unaccetpable. I can't recommend working with a company that behaves in this fashion.

I don't believe I can overstate my appreciation for their assistance in helping me stop the needless hemorrhaging of money for PG&E bills for two EVs and home consumption. More work is still needed but no fault of Premo Solar. Gabriel addressed my onsite needs, committed himself to getting me activated after hearing my nightmare story and provided follow on service with a reputable company to address equipment they do not support. I made multiple calls to similar companies in this niche and none would provide support for work done by another company. I am grateful for their assistance and will definitely refer friends seeking solar support to them in the future. Thank you Premo Solar and Gabriel for your help!!!!

I wouldn't complain about a single thing. They moved an array for us (that another company went out of business so could no longer service) took over the warranty for us, and added additional panels. We will also be doing a battery install at a later date. Their prices are significantly better than the competition and so is their time line. Instead of waiting a year for another company, call Premo and have your solar done in the next week or two. Highly recommend.

Frankie called me back the same day and was able to come see what I needed done and scheduled me right away. He was super efficient and updated my panels and installed my new charger all in one day. He returned my call within five minutes and after listening to the situation, he recommended that we wait until morning for a service call to get his normal rate compared to the emergency rate. He also let us know that we could start by contacting the power company to make sure it wasn't their issue. This transparency in pricing was greatly appreciated. We decided to schedule Frankie for the next morning and he arrived exactly on-time. He investigated our issue thoroughly and had the power restored within 90 minutes. While he was there, he also advised us regarding changes to lighting that could make substantial savings on our electrical bill. The price for the service was extremely fair. If you need an electrician, please call Frankie at FMJ.

The consultation with Grant was quite expert: he assessed that our house in a forest would get plenty of sun, and he was right. He also suggested we try a single battery before spending for two. He was right about that. Jonathan (and his electrician skills) was a known quantity to us, and he performed perfectly on our installation. The system served us well for nearly a year. Then the 3-day outage over Christmas proved the wizardry of the Tesla StormWatch system, - we never stumbled around in the dark of shuddered in the cold like many of our neighbors with no system. Carmel is infamous for frequent outages, ranging from 10 minutes to 3 days and more. This system eliminates the anxiety and discomfort of living with that. When I had a question today about Tesla Settings, Jonathan took my first call. And his routing us to the patient and intrepid Melody at GFSE HQ sorted it all out. That was two professionals who answered the phone on the first call, late on a Friday afternoon on New Years weekend. When was the last time you had that experience? There are many vendors in the solar/battery space. They may all be OK, but I wouldn't bet on it. The delta in cost from other bidders is trivial. I am certain that BFSE is run with top talent and integrity.
