After we put a new roof on our house back in 2006 we called" Reliable Rain Gutters", which was…read morelocated on Marilla Street in Chatsworth to put up gutters. The owner'is name was Amir. Here it is 2015 and we found that the work done in '06 was incomplete, and caused our roof damage. Our roofer fixed the job at no cost to us and we called "Reliable Rain Gutters", now known as "Reliable Gutters & Painting" , but still owned by Amir, to come give us a quote for several more gutters. Amir came over and lamented with us about all the spots we needed to have gutters put on. Amir agreed our job was incomplete, and acknowledged that his salesman was remiss in outfitting the job in the first place. Adding insult to injury he told us how he could not possibly give us any financial consideration this time around, because he was "so good" and in "such high demand" for his rain gutters. He even dropped Barbra Streisand's name as his client. He then tried to sell us stuff we didn't need, gave us an excessive quote, and refused any responsibility for the incorrectly installed water diverter, which was causing most of our damage. I found him contentious and when he left I told my husband "I don't like that man". Subsequently I called several other rain gutter companies for estimates. I found Amir was NOT competitively priced, in fact he was the highest of 4 estimates I got, and actually had a muddied reputation in the rain gutter community. Additionally, Amir tried to sell us other components that were not needed. I eventually hired "Brian's Rain Gutters" in Canoga Park. Brian was pleasant, competent , and the most reasonably priced. I feel confident that our new diverter will do a great job. Bring it on EL NIÑO! NEW NOTE: I wrote this review over a month ago. Subsequently I needed some adjustments not initially contracted with Brian. Today Brian came over and did even more work in order to ensure my satisfaction. I am very happy and highly recommend BRIANS RAIN GUTTERS, ask for Brian.
