On April 8, 2019 "Solar Solutions" came to our house and installed 38 solar panels facing the south, which as it turns out, is the best side for sun and in our case faces the road and is visible for others to notice as well. Prior to the installation, they made an appointment with us and then came to explain the process. They answered all of our questions about how the panels and system worked. They discussed how the panels would be installed and about the cost. It was further explained regarding possible tax credits, rebates, and other possible financial breaks as well. The house was inspected to be sure it would support the panels. From their office they were able to check our electric usage for the previous year which as it turns out was just the right year to do so as there seemed to be little Spring or Autumn weather that year. Usually Spring and Autumn are the least costly times for electric usage. Thus the electric needs for the year could be well determined. This was used to determine how many solar panels would be needed to break even on our electric bill for the year All of the workers and staff have been most helpful, very friendly, and professional in their dealings with us. The installers have been very conscientious about their work and we are totally pleased with the results. They have definitely lowered our electric bill, yet it is too early to tell how much. We would definitely recommend their service and product to all. Soon after our installation they were to go to Vegas and install a large job on a clay tile roof, amazing! I did not know that could be done. We were able to watch and take many pictures throughout the process. As the system was being tested to see that all connections had been made and was set up to function correctly, I noticed the meter running backwards! I mentioned that to the one who was checking out the inverter and all of the computerized equipment. I didn't know the meter could run backwards as the electric company had not yet installed a digital meter that was to run both forwards and backwards. This is in the Spring of the year! I could easily see how much of an impact this would have on our electric bill. As the house was running on current supplied by the solar panels as well as the fact that it would feed electricity into the electric grid if one wished for it to do so (storage batteries are also an option). I will have to say that the crew installing the solar panels, with an optimizer for each panel, and the system inverter (which changes from 12 volt dc to ac current), did a high quality job of installation. The panels used were tier 1 (commercial grade). They produce excellent output. The entire system is monitored by wireless means and can be observed through the internet. It is interesting to note that the home office was able to read the stats of all of the panels. One of the panels late in the day had a chimney shadow cast temporarily on a portion of one of the panels. This was detected immediately by the home office and the workers checked on it right away. All was good and in working order. The way the panels attached to the roof to me was excellent. They attach to rails. The rails are attached to the rafters through the roof! The means by which they are attached are surprising and allow no leakage. They are about four to six inches off of the roof to allow air to circulate under them and help to cool them rather than sitting on the roof. I recommend "Solar Solutions" and the system they represent. Our system had a 25 year guarantee as well. If problems occur with any panel it is to be replaced immediately and if one panel should cease to function the rest of the string of panels continues to work independently (unlike some tree strings of lights). We had solar panels installed on our home by Solar Solutions about a year and a half ago. Our home is all electric and roughly 1500 square feet. We have a total of 27 panels, 21 of which are on the east side and 6 on the south side (the most that could be installed due to the roof formation on the south side). Our average monthly bill for 2018 was $51.00 with the months of May through September being $13.72 which is the base charge and taxes. Thus far our electric bills for 2019 are running almost the same with our April through August bills being $13.72. We can't say enough good things about our salesman, Chris Bruno! He explained everything to us in great detail and has always been available to answer any questions we had/have. The installers were very professional and friendly. We even had a drop by visit from Jerry, the owner during the install. He truly cares about you, the consumer and making your solar system experience a great one! We highly recommend Solar Solutions to anyone interested in going solar. We were surprised at how affordable a solar system could be and SO glad we purchased from Solar Solutions! read more

Very happy with Solar Solutions and the great communication from James and Micah. The process, so far, has been seamless and easy. We shopped around and Solar Solutions was hands down the easiest to work with. The company listened to what we wanted without being pushy. They were upfront and honest from a technical standpoint on what would work best for our home's configuration without adding unnecessary equipment or materials to our project. James took what we said we were looking for and applied it to our project. He was able to put together a system that exceeded others we spec'd all while staying within our budget, which was a huge plus for us. We shopped around for financing, as well, and the CU that Solar Solutions recommended ended up providing the best rate and terms for the project. We're currently awaiting installation, I look forward to reviewing after that, but I can't recommend these guys enough. Solar solutions just finished a large install for us. All in all, it was a very good experience. They were knowledgeable and helpful in each phase of the process. The planning phase was informative, and I feel that they were able to talk through the many options (ground mount, roof mount, battery backup) with us and help us find the best system to meet our needs. They then did all the finance preparation and gathered the power company permits independently. The install also went smoothly. The team was very polite, and they kept us informed throughout the large install process. John Henney and Chris Bruno would check in on us daily during the process to let us know when people arriving. I felt the prices were great, especially on our large battery back up system, and they also gave us LED bulbs and added insulation to the attic. We just got our solar installed with Solar Solutions in New Mexico. We weren't planning on getting solar so soon, but heard great things about them, so we got a quote from John and were impressed with the low numbers and the additional tax benefits from the other companies we had seen. Our neighbor whose house is half the size of ours showed us a quote they got for solar from a different company and it was double our quote. We liked how personalized everything was to meet our needs and the time John and Kayla took to make sure everything went smoothly since we were in a new market. I was happy to find out how hands off it all was - everything has been done for us: approval from our HOA, paperwork with the electric company... installation took one day and we weren't inconvenienced at all. We have just completed the pre-installation portion of the process. Worked with Chris Bruno, who provided all relevant information regarding the system components, size, and design. Chris did a great job - he was informative without being pushy or resorting to high pressure sales tactics. He answered all of my questions quickly and honestly (and I had a lot of questions!) I could not be more pleased with their process so far, which included how the system worked, collecting necessary information to design the system to meet our electrical usage, and assisting with financing for the project. Next up is installation of the system - looking forward to watching it go up. Will post more reviews as the installation proceeds. I can't say enough about the sales and installation team here at Solar Solutions. My rep Bruce was incredibly knowledgeable and great to work with. I was still treated with care and courtesy by the rest of the team after the sale was completed. Any question or concern I had was answered immediately and their staff is always available. When it came time to do the installation, unfortunately there were some delays due to COVID and shipping. After all that was settled though, the team they sent was very quick and efficient, finishing my 45 panel system in just a couple of days. I did have one issue after they were in my attic, but they were back out the same day to fix it! I've just had my Lion Solar batteries installed and am so exited to have this as extra security in case of a power outage!
