I did not get my deposit back . The apartment had stains on carpet when I moved in and I had to…read moreclean the apartment myself as it had not been done. I was given a $25 discount to clean it myself. I then had my apartment professionally shampooed as I always do when I move out and apartment was immaculate. Except I guess I forgot to clean out the crumbs in the very bottom of the oven. They changed the carpet when I left and said that it needed replaced because of me although I have my own pics to show that the carpet was in better shape when I moved out then when I moved in. The only pics they sent me to show it needed replaced was the underside after they tore it up. Normal wear and tear and crumbs should not be worth what was charged. They kept $35 of my deposit to clean out the crumbs and the rest to replace the carpet that already needed replaced. I talked to the office manager Amy Ford who gave me info to the Edward Rose Bloomfield Hills property owner office. She said I could file a dispute with them, which I did several weeks ago. I have heard nothing from them.

Here's how I spell fabulous real estate agent - RADER…read more We've moved 6 times as a family and normally it is a true pain getting your house listed and sold. Your listing agent typically disappears about 10 seconds after the papers to list the house are signed. NOT Steve - nope, he was with us EVERY step of the way. He knows the market, he knows houses, he knows how to figure out what a house is worth, he worked tirelessly promoting our house BEFORE IT WAS EVEN listed. He counseled us throughout of the inspections, appraisals, etc. He brought us boxes, he helped us clean up. He even came back after we had left to do some additional clean up and to ensure our property was ok. When you know what you are doing, you make it look easy. Steve makes it look easy - the guy is a compassionate, professional, friendly, MORE than helpful guide and counselor during the process. Because of his counsel, I believe our home sold much faster and for a higher price than we would have otherwise gotten. I am happy to talk to anyone about Steve Rader. What a pro. What a nice guy. Steve is a guy you can trust. I feel very, very lucky to have had him on my side as I was selling my home.

On Tuesday July 21st Joel Nieman from Air Ace came out to repair our outdoor a/c unit. He replaced…read morethe fan motor and I believe the compressor. Everything was working fine for the most part, except the air wasn't as cool as it normally was. On Sunday July 26th our unit started making strange high pitched noises again, and was not properly cooling down the house. I called Joel again and let him know what was going on. He stated that he'd be there the next day on Monday July 27th. When he arrived he stated that he did not hear the sounds that I hear. Stated that this unit was built in 1998 and had trouble cooling in this heat. I tried to explain to him that it may struggle at times in high heat, but never to this extent. It was almost 80 degrees inside my home, no matter how hot it is outside, it never got that warm inside the house. But he wouldn't listen to me, keep stating that there was nothing wrong and the unit needed to be cleaned. Unfortunately we don't have a working water spout on the outside of our house and he said couldn't do it. He checked the refrigerant levels and stated it was too high and proceeded to EXPEL R22 into the atmosphere! That is illegal. After that he charged us for the visit and left. Nothing was fixed and after expelling the refrigerant the house was warmer than ever. Fortunately my landlord got a different company to come out and they actually came into the house and found issues that needed to be addressed. Joel didn't even attempt to come into the house. Needless to say that I'm not happy with the way things worked with Air Ace, and Joel Nieman. He worked on our a/c unit and fixed what was wrong at the moment, but when other issues happened, he just didn't want to listen and seemed to not want to be helpful. But the worse thing is that he expelled the R22 into the atmosphere and not properly. That's inexcusable.

I choose this company because of their 5 star reviews but I can't in good conscience give this…read morecompany any more than 2 stars. I had this company install a centra HVAC system and 2 mini splits. They did real well at first but then it turned into...we have someone else that needs us more so we are not coming out today, all of the sudden I was at the bottom of the list and it was 2 weeks later before they got back to me. Then it was...we are going to arive much later today than we scheduled because the guy who has the truck called in sick and all out stuff is in the truck. When you work and you have to take off to allow these types of services to occur in your home you count on them coming on the day and time agreed upon. This company is not super reliable in this respect. Now here the real cincher that I want you to be sure and consider before you hire this company. One of my two mini splits was leaking from the channeling running down the side of my house. I called and two times I was told they'd swing by and look at it. No one came. So I called again and when the crew member came I was working so my daughter let them in. They said they poured water into the tubing and it came out the other end of the tubing and NOT out the area that I saw it leaking from every day since the install. It never came out the tubing like it was supposed to but they swore it was. I waited all summer long for them to finally do what they said they would do. Then it was too cold to address the issue. A representative called - fishing for me to give them a good review - and I told her how unhappy I was, so they scheduled a time months out because I had to wait for it to warm up enough for the issue to be addressed. This time they took the channeling off and lo and behold the connector between two splices of hose had come disconnected and there was also a crimped place that had turned into a slit in the hoseline. So you tell me... how did water come out of the end of the hose when that crew member (Nathan) said he checked it and it came out like nothing was wrong. So he was not truthful. There was no way the water/condensation was discharging from the end of the hoseline because it was not a continuous line that had become disconnected AND it had a big slit in the hose. Just disappointing. I felt like, as a single woman, I was being taken advantage of and not receiving the level of service that I would have received if I were a man. Having said all this I will say that when Angle - a crew member- came out this last Monday 3-7-2025, (Yes I had to take off work, but he came and was on time.) It was a full 10 months after the install, he did what should have been done 10 months prior when I made them aware of my issue in the first place. Now my mini split is no longer leaking condensation, running down the side of my house. All is well - it just took lots of false starts, phone calls, time, aggravation, frustration and visits to get it right.
