We had Mick out to the house and his solar screens are amazing! We went with the 95%. They are definitely efficient like he said they would be. He was very quick and efficient. His pricing was extremely fair. We loved that he came out to the house instead of giving us an AI price. We are very happy with our screens. Marc and Kyla read more

I contacted this business through Yelp and it ended up being a great experience. Mick responded in a timely manner and set up an appointment to take a look at my existing solar screens. I was initially going to just have my backyard windows re-screened. He gave me an estimate to have those done. He also pointed out what a crummy job the previous company (Southwest Solar Screens) had done. They only put about 75% of the anchors needed to secure the screens, he fixed that. Do not use Southwest, they were horrible. They took down our screens and had the new ones ready in about a week. They did such a nice job that I decided to have the front screens replaced as well. Overall, a very easy transaction with a reasonable fee and excellent work. read more

Solar Screen City is wonderful because I didn't have to screen the entire house at once. Mick was willing to work with me and allowed me to make payments after giving him a deposit to get started. He is friendly, professional and answered all of my questions. Mick installed solar screens on 4 windows and then later on, I paid for the patio door to be screened. I plan to screen the front of the house next year. I am very happy with my solar screens and it really has made a difference Inside my home and has dramatically improved the look on the outside. The estimate is free and If you want solar screens for your home I highly recommend Mick at Solar Screen City. read more

Installation of screens in our home Mick did an excellent job in installing the screens in our home. He installed screens throughout our home. The screens have helped a lot in greatly reducing the heat and glare we experience during the hot summers. They also give a good appearance to our home. I can easily recommend his professionalism and workmanship. Marcel Peries read more

Perhaps the easiest, most painless, transaction EVER with a contractor! Seriously. Mick is the owner. He came out as scheduled, confirming first. He is an easy-going guy but don't let that fool you: He really knows his stuff. As an example, he knew (which I didn't) that the HOA would want vertical bars in the screens to match those on the windows. All I knew was that there was a list of approved colors and that the new screens should be "flush mounted." He knew that, too. He wrote up a contract; I gave him a deposit of approximately half. He told me to call him when I returned from vacation. I had a note to do so but was busy unpacking; he called me. We scheduled the installation. He and his son Chase showed up; said it'd take about an hour. That's about what it took. I closely inspected every screen; they appear to be perfect and they appear to be mounted perfectly. I gave him a check for the balance and off they went. My house looks good from the outside but it is already so much cooler inside. Tomorrow morning, I'll be able to have coffee while sitting at my computer, as I do every day, but from now on, I'll be able to keep the plantation shutters open and see everything that goes on outside. YAY! No more shutting the shutters in order to prevent blindness. I cannot recommend Solar Screen City highly enough. read more

If you are looking to get solar screens installed my strong recommendation is to go with Mick at Solar Screens City. Mick, the owner has a nice easy going way about him. No high pressure, patient, informative, and most importantly trustworthy. He took the time to explain the benefits of solar screens, the different shades and colors offered, and any other random Qs I had. Mick gave us a very fair quote for the entire house. He then took measurements and collected a 50% deposit. Fast forward a couple of weeks and the screens were installed today. Mick and his son Chase did the install. I love working with family run businesses as they take extreme pride in their work. The install was quick, efficient, and with no surprises. The screens look great and I am sure they will provide much relief once the summer Vegas heat kicks in. Mick runs his business the right way. He shows up on time, returns calls and texts, and no bait and switches. He even offered to give me some extra solar screen material to cover my garage door windows. A very classy gesture! Great quality screens, great knowledge and information from Mick, would definitely recommend to anyone looking to reduce your heat indoors, add a level or privacy during the day and still maintain a good look for the house. Plenty of color choices. 95% is available and was perfect for a few of our small windows that didn't have window coverings since they were so high up but they let in a lot of heat. Those windows alone reduced the ambient heat in that area by 8°, worth the price, which was very reasonable for the amount of windows I needed. I have a few different percentages based on the side of the house they went on and they all look identical, can't tell one side is 80% versus the 90% on the west side. Again, Mick and his son did great, would highly recommend! read more
