We had a great experience with Solar Screen Factory! James, one of the owners, was awesome to work with. He was super helpful, gave us a great price, and got our screens made really quickly. He showed up right on time for the installation and had everything done in about an hour. The house already feels noticeably cooler, and the screens look great too. The whole process was easy from start to finish. 10/10 would definitely recommend! read more

With the warm weather approaching I decided to try having solar screens installed in a couple of south facing rooms that always get very warm in the summer. My research led me to solar screen factory with their excellent reviews! They are a local business that makes their screens in Las Vegas and warranties them for 10 years! I was very impressed with their response time, and within 24 hours I had an estimate and measurements were taken. After being produced, they were installed within a few days! Communication throughout the process was excellent. We were able to choose a frame color which would match the house exterior. They have been in place for several days now in the midst of an unusual heat wave, and so far the rooms have not been any cooler based on the temperature sensors in each room. The rooms are slightly dimmer inside but not remarkably so. I did opt for the 90% blocking screens which is the highest they offer. I will continue to monitor how they perform during the warmer months and see if there is any change in room temperatures or the electric bill. It could simply be that the strong Nevada sun in these southern facing rooms is just too much. I am still very happy with solar screen factory, however, as they were great to work with during the installation process! read more

Wonderful screens! We got one for our front window a few years back and decided to add one to our side window after the hoa removed the tree that gave us shade. The prices are good and the service is excellent. Very professional and fast. They came by to measure and we had it installed within a week. Love the new look! read more

Had solar screens put on the outside of the house at 2 different times(due to storage sheds being removed). Let me tell you about the level of service we received:EPIC!! We dealt with a great guy named Carlos, could not have gotten a nicer, more detail oriented and customer service minded person if we tried. The quality? Absolutely tremendous! The house is cooler, the power bill is lower and we could not be more pleased with the result! 4 years later we removed a shed that was blocking a window and needed solar screens put on 2 windows that were exposed. Called Carlos and he came out and measured and installed matching screens within a week! These guys go above AND beyond for you! Have had NO issues at all. If you're looking to be cooler in the summer, give Solar Screen Factory a call! Outstanding!!! read more

My husband & I needed to get solar screens immediately since we got artificial turf in the backyard. As soon as our grass was installed, I called Solar Screen Factory and Carlos picked up and was able to give me a quote AND come to the house to take measurements the same day! I was really impressed with how quickly he came. This is our first time getting solar panels and Carlos did a great job answering all of our questions and explaining all of our options. There are several color options and weave options offered which is great and can match the exterior of your house. In less than a week, James came and installed the solar panels quickly. He was able to come first thing in the morning and install them. The product is of great value and quality. It also comes with warranty! Thank you Carlos & James! I will definitely refer to friends and family. read more

Solar Screen Factory did a great job with their installation for my new home. Carlos walked me through with the different options and pricing diligently. During the consultation, he brought samples of different combinations of screens and frames so we could match them against the windows. After the deposit, James came in the next day to do the formal measurements and the screens were processed that weekend and ready for installation the week after. As you can see from the photo, installation was done really well. Materials were of high quality. Heat and UV rays coming indoors reduced drastically as expected. read more

What a great family run company. When you have this kind of operation, you feel the love. From the initial consultation (and the invite for home made enchiladas is still out there) to installation...it was a seamless process. What really set them apart was after it was all said and done, we had a bad storm that had some hurricane strength wind. A single sliding door screen came off (it actually held on and I had to finish taking it off). I called, shared a photo, and their response was not to worry...we were covered and they would be by to take new measurements when the weather cleared up. Well, we just got the replacement installed and it looks great. After James explained it to me, I can understand why this piece was in danger to begin with. I highly recommend these guys. The screens are great, the shade is a MUST in the Vegas valley and the customer service is awesome. read more

Absolutely the best Solar Screen company in Las Vegas!!! Don't waste your time and call other companies.... This is the now the second time I have used Solar Screen Factory... I have called and compared and contrasted other companies and by far these guys are the absolute best. Their pricing is right... but their communication and customer service and craftsmanship is what separates them the most. They come out and give you the different color options and combinations and different levels of privacy, they tell you how long it will take to make the Solar Screens and they let you know exactly when they can put them in for you and they are always on time and communicating with you throughout the entire process... which is something I have found very rare here in Las Vegas. I would absolutely recommend Solar Screen Factory to anyone looking to get new Solar Screens for their home... no doubt you will be very pleased. read more

I found SSF through a search engine. I filled out their web contact form and they emailed me back right away and set up an appointment for measurements. Carlos came over the next day and did his part efficiently. He told me I will be contacted in 7-10 business days but it only took 3 for James to call me to set up the install. He too did his part efficiently. I don't think it took him more than 15 minutes to install. The products appear well made. Thank you. read more

Received a quote last week and our solar screens were installed today! Now that's quick service and very unexpected. We did not expect our screens for a month. Solar Screen Factory, Las Vegas, Nv. is absolutely the best!! We called on Friday and spoke to James. We told him we were getting artificial turf next week and voiced our concerns regarding window glare. We were considering solar screens on our home but needed more information. He answered all of our questions/concerns and then asked for a picture of our windows and immediately quoted a price, which we were very happy with! James came to our home that same evening with samples of different choices available, measured our windows and they started making them the next day. He surprised us today by coming up and installing our new solar screens a day before the turf install!! From the first phone call to the finish...we had our new Solar Screens on the house in less than a week!! He said he didn't want our new turf installed without having the protection of the Solar Screens! James and his team at the Solar Screen Factory deserve a 10 Star rating!!! The quality is excellent, very sturdy and secured to the house very well. Great Quality, Reasonably Priced!! We are extremely happy and highly recommend the Solar Screen Factory! read more

These r going to keep our house cooler in the summer and our air conditioner bill down as well. James even took are of two screen doors we had to march the rest of the screens. We had artificial turf installed in our backyard and our landscaper inexplicably neglected to mention the possibility of turf burn. Our beautiful, perfect turf was just sitting there in the intense sunlight, blissfully unaware of the danger lurking above. Sure enough, a few days later, a patch of turf had burned due to reflection from an upper window and it was recommended we get window tinting or solar screens. Window tinting sounded like a major hassle (and expense), so we decided on solar screens. We found Solar Screen Factory on Yelp and the experience was great from start to finish! Everybody that we dealt with was friendly, polite, and professional. Since they knew our turf was in the ongoing process of burning, they expedited the project. James came out quickly and measured our backyard windows (didn't even need a ladder for the upstairs windows because he already knew the measurements for our new build home!). He showed us the samples to choose from and answered all our questions. He gave us a fair price for the 90% UV blocking screens, which includes a 10-year warranty! They made our screens over the weekend (they have in-house manufacturing) and a few days later James showed up at the promised time with another gentleman and they quickly and efficiently installed our screens. We love the added bonus that it's a little darker and cooler inside the house, but most importantly, the turf is safe now and can be fixed. A big THANK YOU to Solar Screen Factory for expediting this job for us and saving our turf!!! read more

I wanted to get solar screens on my townhouse. I found them online as they had great reviews and great products. I reached out and they had me send pictures of my windows. We had Solar Screen Factory install 4 screens to protect our artificial turf from burning, Installation and service was great and the product is fantastic. I cannot stress enough how awesome it was working with Solar Screen Factory! I called on a Saturday and James was able to come out for a quote and show me samples on the same day! We went through each tone of screen and frame and I ultimately decided on black screens with white frames. He was patient as I was choosing between 80% and 90% screens and let me take my time to decide. As an ex-Californian, I hadn't had solar screens before and I was super nervous about them making my house too dark but the samples helped me a ton. I chose a mix of 80% and 90% screens and I couldn't be happier! From the outside I have privacy and sun protection, but on the inside I can see through them and still have tons of light. The Solar Screen Factory team was fast with making the screens and install- I called last Sat and they were installed today, 1 week after! So fast and very, very well made screens! 10-Year Limited Warranty included with screens. I highly recommend them to anyone who's interested in solar screens- very professional, quick, and reasonably priced service! read more

Great service and turnaround time. We had screens installed on one side of our house and they worked so well, our landlady had them put on the rest of the house. In terms of energy efficiency, you can see from our power bill that our September usage was less than half of what it was last year. At this rate (and the Las Vegas heat), you can see that the investment will pay for itself sooner than later. Two pieces of advice: 1) The 90% screens are VERY effective and can make your interiors darker than you'd expect. (We have to turn lights on during the day in some rooms.) If you're looking for a less dramatic change, go with the 80% 2) Make the investment to have your windows professionally cleaned (outside at least) before the installation. While the new screens can be removed for cleaning, if you can avoid it by cleaning them beforehand, do it. If you time it right, have the window cleaners leave the old screens off and it'll save the installation crew a step. read more
