I highly recommend Charleston Roofs & Windows!  Very professional and great service…read more They just completed placing a new roof for me and I am very impressed with how smoothly the whole process was.  Starting with prompt return of my initial call, Michael Kelley worked with me helping me to understand what was needed, patiently answering questions and helping me choose the right type of roofing for my house.  He always answered  my phone calls, which I appreciated and valued such good customer service. The install was scheduled, and the crew showed up at 6:30am that day. They draped and covered vulnerable areas and worked all day removing the old shingles and placing the new roof.  Overseeing the progress at the jobsite was Adam Cobb.  He came to me a couple of times to update me on how things were going and see if I  had any questions. When the job was completed the next day, he let me know they were done.  That is when I saw that my yard, porch, decks, flower beds and driveway were left in even better shape than they started with. So, there you have it.  If you want to wonder about the quality and service you will get-keep looking.  But if you want to get the best up front, go with CR&W.

The exact verbiage from the contract is, "The Contractor is not liable for damage to hidden water, electrical, gas, and/or HVAC lines." However, in the photo sent of the damage, the HVAC line is clearly visible. When we pointed out that the line was clearly visible, they claimed they were still not responsible and would cover just $250 of the $2133, but only if we removed the 1-star Google review we had just left. After several attempts to get in touch with the contact on the contract and the business owner, we got no response.

This local, family-owned business truly stands out. They kept me informed every step of the way, explained everything clearly, and followed through on exactly what they promised. We had custom window shades installed, and they turned out absolutely beautiful. The quality is outstanding, the fit is perfect, and the installation was quick, clean, and seamless. You can immediately tell they take pride in their work and genuinely care about delivering beautiful results. What impressed me most was their communication, honesty, and reliability. When you are busy running businesses, working with a company that is efficient, trustworthy, and easy to work with makes all the difference. They made the entire experience feel effortless and stress-free. I only wish I had found them sooner for my other businesses. They would have saved me so much time and worry. The value they bring goes far beyond the shades themselves--it is the professionalism, customer care, and overall experience that really sets them apart. I will absolutely be doing business with them from now on. If you are looking for window shades in Charleston, I highly recommend Charleston Window Treatments. Great people, exceptional service, and beautiful results that are truly worth it.

So we waited and waited until we got a referral to Charleston Window Treatments. Truthfully, we are always a bit skeptical when working with new folks but Strachan and his team blew us away. After replacing our old blinds with brand new shutters at a very reasonable price (that my wife picked herself and loved), a few things stood out during the process: 1. The team was communicative the entire time and answered all of our questions (and we had a lot!). 2. The work was pristine and looked amazing; I can't believe we spent two years with blinds that were falling apart. 3. The turnaround was efficient and I never felt like we had to worry about delays or random inconveniences. All in all, it has been a pleasure working with Charleston Window Treatment and I highly recommend them to anyone in the Charleston area.

I was surprised that only one other person returned my call at all! Business must be good! Scott came and measured and got back to us quickly with a quote. I didn't care for the other business as they kept telling me I would have to do an outside mount ( this is a new house) and that is exactly what I DIDN'T want. So we went with MITS! So glad we did. The installers were great and tidy. One of the fellas said he had shoe covers, but did he have to wear them? My look pretty much answered that question and the installation went great. Scott returned to check on things and give advice where needed. An installer returned the next day for final adjustments and they really look fantastic. I need to thank my fellow yelper Sean F as it was his review that sold me on this company. We all know shutters aren't inexpensive, but I know that I chose the best company to get the job done properly.

We just finished our 4th project today, an outdoor patio covering. We've done a concrete firepit, pool decking and sunroom. These projects were not inexpensive, but I felt that the value is there for the craftsmanship, warranty and overall experience. I appreciate that they answer their phones when you call and they get back to you quickly. The craftsmanship is excellent. Jose and his team really did impressive work. I appreciate the fact that Chip who oversaw several aspects of our projects helped to advise us whenever we had questions. In all 4 projects, I never had a concern about who was coming to work at our home. The crews left the work sites clean and orderly and always took great care to make sure our yard was cleaned off. (I can tell you there aren't many companies who actually do that!) The project wasn't always perfect, but no construction ever is. Here is where Express Sunrooms set themselves apart. When my husband and I weren't happy with part of the project, Express made it right. They truly stand behind their work and resolved our concern. I would recommend Express Sunrooms to anyone in the Lowcountry.

However, surprise, surprise after fill installation we were told that's not even an option for unspecified reason. And of course my contract did not specify the length so we were stuck. Then the installation crew damaged the framing to my porch. Instead of fixing it properly they just offered us money to do it ourselves which was not suitable and did a bad patch job when they finally returned. Now to the present, 3 of my shades are broken and I have been calling the office for over 1.5 month and the "service" person has never responded or called. If I could get a full refund and replacement value I would be happy. I do not recommend anyone me use this company
