Robert and his team did a bathroom remodel job for me from mid-February to mid-March in 2022. It…read moreincluded demo and tearing everything out and installing everything new in one bathroom and new flooring, vanity, and toilet in another. I know this review is basically 1.5 years later but I wanted to use the bathrooms and see how it held up before writing this review and it just became overdue. Anyways, I would not recommend Robert and his team for any similar jobs. I'm honestly shocked by the positive reviews and felt I needed to post mine because I found Robert through yelp and feel mislead. There are a lot of things that have issues now. The grout lines in the shower are flaking off in layers because it was not done properly the first time. The niche that was built has a lip that holds water and won't drain. The vanity is leveled but the gap between the wooden cabinet and the slab counter top is not. One of the doors of the vanity was installed poorly and is now loose. The laminate flooring tiles are separated in one of the bathrooms. There is so much flex when you walk on it even since the day it was installed. I regret not insisting on leveling the floor before install but Robert told us his expert opinion was that it wasn't necessary. We asked Robert to do measurements on the day we signed the contract so we can order enough materials including extra for the floor and shower. We ordered exactly as he told us but when install came, we needed to go out and buy more bc of mistakes or miscalculation. This lead to needing to buy completely different flooring for the other bathroom bc the store didn't have enough of the original one we picked out. The shower had rust coming out and his plumber was sent out to fix it (the plumber wasn't present during the initial install, FYI). There was so much extra material with the exhaust fan duct he installed and there was papers left inside that blocked the vent opening. The towel rod is not leveled. We had to reinstall one of the toilets ourselves within a year bc of a leak cause by the rubber ring. Everyone on the team was very nice and polite, however, with the exception of the plumber, I would not consider their craftsmanship and skill level to be the level of someone who works in construction as their main profession. There is a lot more I could say but I'll end it here. If all my issues were cosmetic, I'd give them 3 stars. But considering the fact that a lot of these issues had to be fixed by us or can't be fixed now but only the next time we do another renovation (flooring, shower tiles and niche, uneven patching and texture on walls/ceiling), 2 stars seems fair. I would not recommend King Legacy Construction to anyone looking for a renovation/remodel.

Dude,... Brandon does amazing work. I have a 1947 house that has a lot of work that needs to be…read moredone, and Brandon has always gone above and beyond to do things in a very functional, efficient manner, and with design and coolness in mind. Here are some examples: Changed a faucet that dripped for YEARS that I was told was not fixable. Not only was it not dripping but he closed up the rusty old hole and made the tile look like the hole was never there. Had the uuuugliest fluorescent light in the living room, like "Joe vs the volcano" level, he replaced it, made it look like it was just all a bad dream. He replaced and fixed the kitchen door so it was even with the floor, when the door would open it would get stuck because the floor was not even, so he did some mathematical engineering and got it to work. He stabilized the dried out wooden pergola over the patio with wood and new metal supports so it didn't have to be torn down, saved a lot of money. He was able to design and construct from scratch a gorgeous washer and dryer enclosure that replaced a UGLY UGLY termite eaten shed that disintegrated when you barely touched it, rusted nails coming out, doors falling off the hinges. Throughout the process, he was very communicative, asking questions that involved functional design, placement, aesthetics. Even matched the hardware to the fences, which really was supercool. He also replaced a variety of ceiling fans, ceiling lights, bathroom faucet, drain, lights, kitchen drains, electrical plugs, fix a fence, and problem solve regarding how to hide wires, electrical cords. Long story short, I would highly recommend Brandon for house repairs, fixes, and design problem solving. His work is very thorough, detail and quality oriented, and he is very professional and is really an expert at what he does.

The photos are before and after of a weird built in that didn't make sense in a bathroom. He built it into a useful cabinet with a mirror. Rodriguez and Sons Woodworking - Arched wall? No problem, beautify that foyer with some curved wall panels.

We scheduled a millwork installation with Pascual & Sons in late January for a February 17th start…read moredate. Materials were originally set to arrive on 2/11, but we coordinated everything to align with the confirmed 2/17 install date. Based on that commitment, we cleared all of our furniture out of the house and prepared the space for the project. Starting on 2/10, I messaged Pascual six separate times to confirm the start date. He ignored every single message for over a week -- despite clearly reading them -- and only responded 12 hours before the scheduled start time. His response? He said he had a "more important client" (specifically naming Kim Kardashian) and was moving our job to the following week with zero prior notice. No real apology. No accountability. Just a unilateral decision to bump us after we had already rearranged our entire home and schedule. When I expressed concern about the lack of communication and last-minute change, he told me I should be more grateful and understanding of his conflict and ultimately told me to "get lost." Meanwhile, I have thousands of dollars of custom millwork sitting in my house, paid for and ready to be installed. This experience showed a complete lack of professionalism, respect, and basic business ethics. If they find a "better" or more high-profile job, it appears they have no problem pushing you aside at the last minute. Proceed with extreme caution.

It's now been more than a week and I was probably left on read. I'm annoyed enough to leave this review and I already have back ups so I couldn't care less about him ever getting back to me. I'm at the point in my life that I'm out of patience of having to always follow up and remember with these things. Contractors have too much leeway and freedom and work to leave people hanging. Let's see, I bet he'll respond to this eventually, unlike my text.
