Linda is the best investment of your time…read more I'm a creative based in Los Angeles and was recently going through financial hardship. Linda took the time to have a phone consultation with me where she evaluated my situation with a "holistic"lens. Now...for those of you who're skeptics of pH levels, regulated diets and spiritual phrases DO NOT let the word "holistic" set the wrong impression. Our phone conversation was scheduled for thirty minutes and it lasted two hours. It's because she wanted the full picture of me. Linda made me feel seen as a person. She engaged in every part of my circumstance by asking for honesty re: financial mistakes, my spending habits, and my long term/short term ambitions. She evaluated my current situation by "working backwards" challenging me to put limitations on myself (ex: how many years till you want to be debt free) and customized a plan, one where I can effectively and realistically pull myself out of my hole. Her 30+ years experience in law has graced her with a myriad of folks (and all of their financial predicaments). Her kind disposition and practical time management made me feel understood but not nurtured or lead to believe "all was going to be okay" with my current habits. She was a breath of fresh air and yet a swift quick in my ass. I've begun the conservative savings steps she's recommended and I'm already seeing the benefits both personally and practically. I'm eager to write another review 2-5 years from now lauding Linda for setting me straight and onto my path of abundance.

I didn't need "coaching" on what to do. I have done my research and already know exactly what I wanted. I had filled in and completed my paperwork and just wanted her to look over them but she never even got to hear my request because she loves the sound of her own voice too much that everyone else needs to shut up. I tried to ask for the coaching terms in writing before booking, but she told me flatly that she does not put anything in writing, just a payment link. A lawyer who does not put anything in writing sounds shady. If you can't uphold the law for written fee agreements, how can you be trusted to uphold the law in your cases? She gave off a monologue which sounded like she was reading off an AI script. Giving a one-way "consultation" and no written agreement. That's a red flag. I see you talking about people's personal and confidential cases in your responses. Is that how a lawyer should conduct themselves? Learn to listen and show mutual respect for others, and stop responding to reviews with AI help. We all know its AI writing your responses.

Scalise Law office is great! If you are looking to bring an end to a legal process and have no…read moreinterest in playing games, they are a great fit. Both Joe and his Legal Secretary Rami, are very experienced, professional, and have a no-nonsense approach to the law. They have over 20 years of experience in family law in Solano county. Court proceedings are never enjoyable and having them represent you takes away the stress of filing your own paperwork, wondering if it is correct, meeting deadlines, and dealing with the opposing party. We had an especially difficult opposing party, and Joe and Rami were able to counter all of their baseless claims and bring the case to a settlement. People seem to enjoy complaining in their reviews if they do not get their way, or 100% of what they wanted, but the differentiation should be made between an attorney doing their job and the court doing theirs. Just because the court does not grant you what you wanted, does not mean your attorney is a bad attorney or didn't fulfill their obligations. Joe fulfilled all his obligations and even went above and beyond to represent us before he was officially retained and after the final payment was made. Retaining Joe's services was able to make the court process less stressful and more efficient. I see a few people bad-mouthing Rami on here, but we received nothing but excellent customer service, respect, and professionalism from her. She provided the reassurance that we needed whenever we had doubts, and the way she communicated to us, as well as on our behalf to the opposing party, always made us feel well represented and reinforced the fact that we made the correct decision to have Scalise law office represent our case.

That's my personal experience. I hired him to stop my crazy ex from selling our marital property home. He demanded I sign a dissolution of marriage but left out the part that I still would have to go to court to fight her on the proceeds. After having me sign the dissolution he removed himself from the case allowing her to sell the home as a single woman (she had a baby with a Solano County sheriff during our divorce) and I had to request his secretary repay me a month after she borrowed $100 for her daughter a cheer outfits as she said she's pay me back in a week then ghosted me. He took thousands of dollars and allowed my ex to sell the home as a single woman. The guy is a thief. If you choose to hire him it's your own fault after reading this.
