Life moved forward as the world struggled with diseases and health. Fast forward to today (about a couple weeks ago). I stopped in the office to schedule another appointment from the lackadaisical staff. The installer/measurer showed up and told me that someone would be contacting me with the estimate . . . . . . (those dots are days gone by, and still waiting) for them to contact me with a price for work to be performed. They never contacted me. Some people might say I should contact them again. I say two strikes and you are out. A & D will attempt to downplay their oversight and lack of business ethics with a reply like, "we take our business seriously" and "call us and we will fix it". Nope, I am not going to give them an opportunity. If they cant complete their promised work offsite, then what makes you think they will show up to complete work onsite? Rightfully so, I'm not going to patronize A & D. Not worth much more effort than this review. Dicks

Fisher and a 2nd company were about the same price and a third was almost twice. Based on their positive reviews, their promptness in getting back, and their quote, we went with Fisher. The entire process was flawless - as good as one could imagine. They came to make the measurement, determined the tint of the other windows to insure a match, and installed a replacement within ten days of taking the measurements. Rick and his co-worker were a pleasure to deal with, as was the office, that kept us aprised of the schedule. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had for a home repair/service company. Highly recommend.

One of them came right over to look at the window that we needed to replace and got the ball rolling! They came out this morning, a crew of three, set up scaffolding and took the damaged window out and installed the new one in a matter of hours. I'm sitting in my bedroom now looking at a bird and expecting it to fly right in. You can hardly tell there is glass there, it's so pure and clear! My only regret is that their truck wasn't on our street 10 years ago! I would call them back in a heartbeat for any glass or mirror work we may need in the future! Call them!!!

I cannot say enough good things about this company!…read more My daughter recently volunteered to completely redo the turtle habitat at our local LGBTQ Resource Center. As you can see from the before and after photos, this turned into quite the project! What started as a very basic tank became a full turtle penthouse, complete with a large custom basking area above the aquarium. While we were working on it, I started calling around looking for help with a custom screen we needed to finish the enclosure. When I explained what we were building and who it was for, they offered to make the screen for us completely free of charge in exchange for an honest review. I didn't ask for a donation--they simply offered to help. That kind of generosity deserves to be recognized. The screen turned out perfectly and helped us finish a habitat that gives this very loved turtle so much more room to swim, bask, and live comfortably. It's easy to leave a review when something goes wrong, but I think it's just as important to recognize businesses that choose to do something kind for their community simply because they can. Thank you for being a small but important part of this turtle's HUGE upgrade! ‍ We are incredibly grateful, and I hope the before-and-after pictures show just how much your contribution helped bring the whole project together.

San Ysidro is a community within the City of San Diego. If your company serves San Diego County, your representatives should know the communities within the area they serve--or simply look at a service-area map instead of making comments like this. The representative was also rude throughout the interaction. I would not do business with a company whose representative treats a potential customer this way.
