They don't even deserve a start but it makes you chose something. DO NOT MOVE HERE. LITERALLY THE WORST COMPLEX IVE EVER LIVED IN. Everything falls apart in the apartment I've had Maintenance come multiple times saying they have "fixed things" and they aren't fixed. The day I moved in my air conditioner was broken, and all the things that needed to be fixed weren't. The garages are DISGUSTING not cleaned at all. Honestly this whole place is disgusting and sickens me. I will NEVER STAY ANOTHER YEAR. Also it's nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone at the front desk. I'm going to sound like a broken record with everyone mentioning Carlos, but I thought he deserved some praise. I haven't lived at Solamonte for long and I noticed a few things that needed fixing in my apartment. Not two hours after putting in some work orders, Carlos was at my front door ready to fix what needed fixing. His cheery demeanor and outlook made the whole routine of fixing appliances and cupboards a joy. He fixed my broken garbage disposal in record time too! I'm so thankful that the first time I needed help with something, I was able to get such a great service from an amazing man, like Carlos. You could tell he enjoys what he does and that makes the quality of his work even better. read more

Requested a repair to the microwave two weeks ago, emailed and called and walked in to the leasing office several times, and no one showed up even after they said they scheduled someone again and again! The customer service was terrible especially Leo and Stephiane. I applied for the apartments and was approved I didn't get a response until two days later. I had to email them and ask them what are the next steps, because I'm sitting here in limbo. I ended up not moving in and went to Camino real due to me not having my license on me. I asked them is there anything I can/ or they can do to help me (I had just lost my licenses) and got an issued one from the DMV and a letter saying my license was valid. Leo's response was nope can't help you Stephiane didn't even come and speak with me. I had the deposit in hand, utilities, and insurance all in hand. I had for my application refund and there response was "I don't know" emailed Stephiane and she couldn't even respond. read more

With all the construction going on, I don't know why anyone would want to live here. No pool. No gym. Nothing. Here's how it was like before construction began.... I lived here for two years and it was ok. There were always big rowdy parties at the pool with people who didn't live there. The mailboxes were broken into on several occasions. The leasing office staff were mostly rude, except for Aisha. The maintenance guys were all great. Other apartments were upgraded with new appliances, but I was not allowed to upgrade mine. Given how much you pay to live in these "luxury apartments," they should have at least replaced the appliances. Finally, after the first year, they will raise your rent over $130. I didn't find out how shady the management was until after I moved out. #1- forget about getting any of your $500 deposit back. #2- Make sure you give 30 day written notice before your move out date or they will charge you a totally unnecessary amount of money (over $1700!!). Even though I called the office 30 days before I moved out, they will not work with me. Maybe the person in the leasing office could have reminded me about submitting a written notice when I called. But I guess if they didn't screw people over, the head property manager couldn't afford her fancy BMW. Avoid this place. read more

I am a current resident, just like you I was happy to find a place that has great appliances and amenities. Upon moving in on 10/14/2023 we noticed the apartment wasn't ready for move in, apartment wasn't properly inspected. 2-3 days after, the issues that were noticed were communicated and shown to three maintenance members of the apartment complex. A women who I spoke with was the maintenance manager she had let me know that the apartment wasn't ready for move in, due to the work done poorly and was going to have it solved by re-doing the work. The overall job of the worker who did come re-do the issues did more of a cover up then fix the issue. I have been very kind and patient but I have lived here for three months. I have reached out to the leasing office. I have received no solutions to my problem. As a resident I should never feel ignored, nor feel like I am bothering someone who isn't doing their job. I am currently trying to find someone who has higher authority that can provide a solution. If you are thinking about moving here please make sure to inspect the apartment yourself. This is the worst place to rent!!! we couldn't see our apartment until we gave them our deposit and first months rent, after we went through the checklist we realized there was cracks under the island in the kitchen, the air filter was extremely dirty and they said it was a new one which it wasn't ! after a month I was hospitalized because my asthma got worse, plumbing here is a complete joke the toilet wouldn't flush after the first day! the pool is closed a lot with out explaining as to why, you can barley have people over without someone calling the cops, I had 2 friends over and the cops were called more than twice, the cops even said they don't know why they keep coming back because they never hear anything. the floor had parts where it felt like there was hella water underneath, the leasing office employees are extremely rude!! this isn't a luxury experience at all more like motel 6 experience! Ive been living in this apartment building for 8-9 years, cant believe Im just now writing this review! So without further ado, Great location, fairly-clean and safe complex and friendly staffs. You really get what your money paid for in this apartment. From great layout of my apartment, in house washer-dryer and modern look thru out each of the appliances. We were excited about moving into this beautiful complex , we submitted our applications , the next day one of the leasing agents called us saying to bring our ID and social security cards to put into our new tenant file , they had doubled the move in from 3,8900 to 6,700 we couldn't proceed further since it was much more and I requested for my $100 holding deposit back and they refused and said it was passed the 72 hrs since we applied , very disappointed Not to mention poor communication they never answer the phones if they do They say they'll call you back by the end of the day and they never do seems like you have to chase them to get your questions answered ! read more

There are 3 big reasons why Solamonte is a great place to live in Rancho Cucamonga... 1) The Office Staff: Adam, Sheena, Barbara, and the rest of the office staff at this complex are wonderful. Not only are they extremely professional but they have personalities that go beyond the property management-resident level. Specifically...Whenever I am grilling, Adam always comes by to catch up and talk about food recipes. I bump into Sheena almost daily and our dogs absolutely love her! Barbara is incredibly sweet and great to talk to about pretty much anything. The Office staff have really gone out of their way to make a personal connection with my girlfriend and I and they make the complex feel like a home. 2) The Maintenance Staff: Carlos and the rest of the crew are lifesavers. They respond quickly to work orders and they are highly skilled! I have never had a situation that required them to come back and fix the problem a second time. I specifically want to point out that if Carlos comes to fix a problem, he follows up to make sure that everything is going well. His service is truly above and beyond. In addition to stellar service, he is really easy to talk to and is genuinely interested in having conversations with you. 3) Continuous Improvement: We have lived in several complexes across the country over the years due to College and Work travel. Each complex came with their share of pluses and minuses. One thing that set this complex above the others (aside from the staff) in Rancho is that they had a clear-cut plan to improve the community. We are super excited to see how things will develop over the next couple of months. I also want to address some of the "cons" that I've read in other posts... 1) Parking: There is no apartment complex that I have ever heard of which guarantees each person a spot for free. At every complex I have stayed at, parking is first come first serve unless you pay for a reserved spot. There are PLENTY of parking spots for those who do not want a reserved spot. You might need to walk a little bit but the area is safe, gated, and well lit. In fact, I will add some pictures to this review sometime soon to prove this point. 2) Move-Out Conditions: I cannot honestly tell you that they are easy or difficult to move out on considering we still live here. What I can tell you is that when you move in, they give you a sheet to fill out with any damages, issues, concerns, or potential problems with the apartment. There is a section for the carpet. IF the carpet is old, damaged, dirty etc. or any other part of the apartment for the matter. FILL OUT THE SHEET. They will fix it promptly and on their dime. If you do not maintain the apartment, less normal wear and tear, it is your fault. IF something breaks or has a problem before you move out, call the maintenance crew. When and if it work takes us somewhere else, I will update this post on move-out conditions we experience. 3) Dirty Pool: We were in the pool pretty much every week prior to New Years. It was not dirty during that time. I cannot attest to its current condition although I see people sitting on the pool deck often and doubt that anything has changed. I will add some pictures to this review sometime soon to prove this point. 4) Landscape: Their grass is consistently green and well kept. To do this, they must water the grass throughout the day, every day. For an hour after watering the grass gets muddy. That is usually what happens when the soil gets wet. It is not a reflection of the complex or staff. That "negative" is just petty. The only potential "flaw" with the landscaping is that some people are not respectful enough to clean up after their pets. This is not a reflection of the staff or property, more a reflection of a few inconsiderate residents. 5) Paper Thin Walls: This, not a completely inaccurate statement. The complaint should say "Paper Thin Ceilings." We have never once heard our next-door neighbors and they have plenty of children and dogs. In fact, my girlfriend and I love blasting metal at certain times of the day to get us pumped up for gaming...we tested it. You cannot hear our Alexa on volume 10 outside our door. Our neighbor couldn't hear it in his apartment either. However, you can hear your upstairs neighbors walk if they are being loud. Considering that this is a common downside associated with level apartment complexes... it's not a big deal and really should be expected in most places. Our upstairs neighbors have never a problem. 6) Bugs and Rodents: We live on the second floor, so we do not have the same experiences as someone on the first or third floor. I can tell you that we have never had a rodent nor have we had any issues with bugs. Nor has anyone of our neighbors or any other residents we have spoken to. Ultimately, if you are looking for an apartment complex with a great office staff, maintenance staff, and a great community you will find it here. read more

We just recently moved here, but so far I can safely say we love our apartment! The office staff have all been great, they are so nice and so helpful. I'd like to mention Ashia, she is just so nice and patient. She leased us our apartment and answered the annoying amount of questions we had during the process! Our dogs would like me to mention Barbara, dog lovers Barbara will ALWAYS give your dog some loving attention and a treat. My dogs look for her everytime we go in to the office. The maintenance team here is attentive to any issues you find in your apartment. Carlos is particularly helpful on that front. He was nice enough to listen to the list of repairs I had... The first year living here was okay. Most amenities were closed due to covid but they had no concern with raising the rent for the second year living here. The apartment management team is terrible. Any time you try calling the office they never answer. The few times I have spoken to Barbra she gave me attitude and was rude towards my feelings about the issues I was having in the complex. I always have issues with receiving notices on my door. They decided to change parking policies by enforcing the cars to have stickers on them but don't consistently implement the policy. Sometimes you get a warning on your car or some cars can park in here with no tag and no consequence. People will be loud past 10pm and as early as 6 am. The trash valet that they have is very inconsistent. You have to call if they miss and when I reported that they did, they would knock my trash can on the floor. As nice as the apartment on the inside, I would recommend finding some place that has a management team who is kind and cares. read more

Loved the first year but during Covid many dirty loud people moved. There's a motorcycle that plays loud music with a loud engine. You'll hear it early morning and around 6 pm every day. The trash valet is a joke. People will leave two-three bags of trash sitting next to their door from Friday to Sunday. It smells bad during the summer. Management is unprofessional and rude. The pool is used by non tenants. The building behind building 10 has fights at night and suspicious cars that smell like marijuana parked on the handicap space and they leave trash. Barbara is definitely one of rudest unprofessional fakest people there. This place has no structure, people play loud music daily and complaints go unanswered. Nobody cares, I will be calling the housing authorities to report they let large dogs such as pit bulls, boxers, huskies etc live there. Because people say there service pets. For the third time in a week i stepped on a pile and still the complex does nothing, even after numerous complaints. I'll start with the positives, because there are some. First, the renovated apartments are gorgeous and spacious. Whenever we have guests over, we always get compliments on how nice our place is. The apartments are also in a pretty good area in Rancho Cucamonga, so I've never had to worry about theft or anything like that. Another cool thing is that they bring outside food vendors some nights for dinner. However, I feel like the negatives greatly outweigh the positives. To start, the parking is a nightmare. If you have an attached parking garage, you only get that. No other spot. So my husband and any guests we have constantly struggle to find parking. Another negative is the bug issue.. There are ALWAYS crickets in our garage, at one point I swear there was like 6. They also have a problem with spiders and roaches INSIDE the apartments. We also just gained access to the amenities which we have been paying for since April. I think it is soooo unfair that we have been paying for amenities that we do not have any access to at all. Also, there are only a handful of employees that are hospitable and nice. Asia has been great the whole time we have leased here. The maintenance man Carlos is also very very nice. The property manager, Britni seems nice as well. Everyone else is rude. Makes me feel unwelcome and gives dirty looks, especially the short older lady (I think her name is Barbara). To top it off, if we choose to renew our lease, our rent is going to increase. So overall, we cannot wait to move out. Hopefully there are no issues in the moving out process, but after reading some reviews, it seems as though there will be. read more

ZERO STARS! COCKROACHES!!! These buildings are infested with cockroaches! Literally the worst apartment experience ever! Moved in in October and they literally moved us to another building in the same complex due to our building being infested with cockroaches and we also experienced a water leak that created a bunch of mold in our sons room that we were unaware of for a period of time. They tried to clean the wall with spraying bleach and said that was good enough... we pressed them to cut open the wall and once they did there was mold and water covering the walls inside!! The manager Britni had the nerve to tell my fiancé (after looking at a picture of the mold on the wall) "oh I've seen worse". We had many problems involving this water leak/mold that I won't continue with on here but for our protection my fiancé picked up a piece of base molding that was covered in mold to save in case we needed to take legal action and it literally was taken from his hand by the maintenance people. Skipping forward, we moved into the new apartment on New Years weekend. Within a couple of weeks we had once again another water leak that flooded our hallway and once again soaked through my sons room (his carpet this time). They did come and fix it but we were inconvenienced again for about a week because the repair guy ran into multiple problems. Everything else was ok there as long as you don't need help from the office ladies. They are rude and never answer the phone. The maintenance guys are awesome!! That's their only plus there. Skipping to moving out we knew we'd have to replace one rooms carpet and everything else was in perfect condition. We received the bill of move out costs and were charged hundreds of dollars to replace carpet. I called and the lady at the office told me if they have to replace one rooms carpet then they replace the whole apartments carpet and we get charged for it ANOTHER JOKE!! My fiancé and I drove down there and talked to Barbara who was extremely rude and kept telling us we were wrong. She brought out our lease (which I already read the whole thing before going there) and she tried to twist the words around on the lease to make it say we were responsible for replacing all the carpet.... that's not what it said and we told her that. Apparently Britni was too busy to come and talk to us even after ALL the problems we had with them. We told Barbara that we would take them to court because them wanting us to pay hundreds of dollars over carpet that was perfectly fine was outrageous and we've never heard of any apartment complex doing that. She responded with then go ahead. She then tried to question us about what happened to the one bedrooms carpet which was none of her business since we never refused to pay for it. All we said was our dog did it one day and she proceeded to question us after if our dog was on the lease. I'm sure she thought he wasn't and that's how she'd catch us in a lie, which she couldn't. We left there and I wrote Britni and everyone in the office as well as their corporate people and explained every horrible event we experienced there... within an hour Britini emailed back saying she'd take off the price for all the carpet other than the one room that was damaged. Funny how they just try to take advantage of people who won't fight them on things when they are in the wrong. I would NEVER recommend these apartments to anyone ever!!! Don't do it!!!!! read more

Overall great experience with the complex. However, this review is specifically for the maintainance service. I never write any reviews but Carlos's maintainance service was so phenomenal that I will take the time to write this review. I walked into my apartment at night and noticed the CO detector beeping. Wasn't sure if it was the actual alarm or if the detector was running out of battery. Called the emergency contact line and recieved a call from Carlos right away. He was very prompt at responding and checking the detector and replacing it (eventhough this did not have to be done urgently) Great attitude, very respectful, and knows what he's doing! Just as a disclaimer, this review is only related to my experience with the maintenance crew here at Solamonte. Dealing with things breaking, or smoke alarms randomly chirping or other appliances spontaneously not working can be extremely frustrating, but the crew here, especially Carlos, are fantastic. He always responds to our requests quickly and professionally, and gets the job done promptly. He's also the first to smile and say hello whenever we see him out the grounds. The apartments are comfortable and quiet with nice neighbors and a great rec center (with a lounge that's extremely well decorated). But mostly this review is to shout out Carlos from maintenance. Carlos is a God send. There isn't a problem that he can't fix. And I have a one year old so things can get broken often and easily. His work is incredible! When Carlos fixes something, it's fixed for good. We've never had the same issue twice. And he's such a joy to have over. Always with a smile on his face and so much kindness in his heart. We started requesting him personally! I always see him around the apartments too so you know he works hard! Carlos, my man, you making living at Solamonte smooth and stress free. I have been here at solamonte for going on 3 years. And I truly love it here. But I have to say one of the things I like most is the maintenance people! Specifically Carlos! I have three kids and something is always happening and every single time Carlos comes to fix something he is always making sure the rest of my apartment is okay! So we moved here a couple of years ago and it was great would give it 4 stars. I wouldn't give it 5 starts cause I really hate the garage it's incredibly small I have a Corolla and it barely fits it and you can barely get out without your car door hitting the wall so if you chose to come here don't get the garage also the garage door opener is the same control for the door so you have to carry this bulky remote where you can easily accidentally open the garage door. Been here for 2 years now and the rent has absolutely shot up way above inflation too at first it was $145 but now the rent went up $200!!! If that's not good luck trying to get ahold of the leasing office because it takes me a very minimum of 3 times calling to get a hold of them and that's if I'm lucky. The area around isn't even worth the jump in price there has been a significant increase of homeless people now. Also no elevator for the higher floors so if you buy anything big good luck. At the time of writing the rent for the one bedroom is $2200 not worth it at all. There has been a significant amount of people moving out and there is a reason for that. read more

Don't be fooled by the 4 stars. Those were based off the old management company (holland) carlos no longer works here :( . Solamonte is now run by Western national which has terrible ratings. They fired everyone single employee from the old company with no remorse. They have no idea what they're doing. Please stay away from these apartments. They make look nice but everything is cheap and falls apart. If you want things fixed, you'll have to wait weeks or months. Roaches, huge rats, thieves, no parking, cigarette smokers, and mail getting stolen is what you have to look forward to here. And last but not least, you'll have to deal with the SNAKES in the office. Thomas, Leo, and saving the best (worst) for last STEPHANIE SHEWMAKER. She likes to hide when things get tough. They all need to be fired. They are HUGE liars and the biggest bullies. They'll make you regret renting here. Do yourself and your family a favor and find a better/safer place to live. PROS: Ashia, Adam and Carlos are the best. Always warm and friendly. Package concierge, Grounds are always clean. Location is great. Great Gym. CONS: Barbara (leasing office) and my neighbor. My upstairs neighbor is always loud and Barbara basically told me to suck it up becase the lady is old. She also told me to try and leave my apartment from time to time so I dont hear it! IShe is just rude and I dont see how she still works there. Other CONS: One Pool for a large complex, in the summer its full to the max with kids, not fun. I think there should be a kids pool. The amenities often go unoticed when broken. Sometimes there is no communication when things change. Example new Security and was not given the contact info. There are TVs in BBQ area and outdoor theater but dont know how they work. Parking is also an issue, there is a lot of it but I notice people park their work vehicles here and other vehicles are left here. No one really checks to see if these cars have been sitting for weeks. Overall I enjoy living here. Hopefully I dont get ripped when I move out. If I do I'll update my review. read more
