You can only use the beds once a month (which is crazy and I've never seen that at a tanning place before). I started my membership towards the end of this month and was told it would renew July 1st instead of an actual full month. You have to cancel before the 25th, but they make you drive all the way over there and do it in person for some reason even though all the woman at the counter did was look at my ID for two seconds. The staff makes it super awkward, and when I left the tanning bed they were just sitting on the floor staring at me. Trying to understand how you guys operated was tough too as the girls at the front desk seemed shy or unsure of what to do. I literally drove back less than a week after starting the membership to immediately cancel it. I don't want to hate on the staff too hard bc most of them looked pretty young, but I'm also pretty young (in my teens) and I understand that to make customers feel comfortable and not so alienated you have to at least pretend like you want to be talking to customers. Everyone in the salon seems to not want to be there and they definitely seem like they mind customers using the beds they pay a ton of money for.

I have never ever turned orange from one of Love To Be Tan's airbrush tans! I always use it as a quick fix before a holiday or date night! Plus who can beat the bonus of them coming to your house!? And it only takes like 15 minutes! I used to tan at Mercury Tan off Kingwood Drive and hated how unprofessional the employees were and how dirty/trashy their facility is. The fake tile is peeling up, half the bulbs in the beds are out, and the employees either look like they just rolled out of bed or they have one employee who wears tight, low cut clothes with facial piercings everywhere. I hated feeling dirty and disgusted everytime I left there. I have never had anything close to this experience with Love to Be Tan. Plus they're always running great specials on their facebook page so I feel like I'm always getting a good deal. Definitely reccomend this business!!

I liked their FB page and saw they were running great specials! So I booked a spray tan and a hair cut. I ended up streaky and blotchy, I've never had a technician not work the solution into your skin. (She never even touched my skin, just waved the spray pot around) I did let the owner know my feedback and she offered for me to come in and get it redone free. I passed, I went out of town the day after I received my tan and my skin was already streaky for my event. So I fixed my legs with Sally Hansen leg spray. It faded really fast since there was hardly any solution on my skin to begin with, so it wasn't a major issue. I just won't book spray tans there again. I also had a hair appointment that same day booked.I waited over 50 minutes past my appointment time for my dry cut, that I never ended up receiving due to time constraints. I want to like this place but won't be back for awhile. Not at least until they build the staff up to more than one hair dresser working at one time.
