I've had excruciating back pain for a while now and was so desperate for relief but didn't want to subject myself to some two bit Massage Envy, where you are treated more like cattle than a client. I was shocked when I saw that Regina was so close! I've never even traveled that way on Hamblen before. You'll find her in an older office complex on stilts. Suite 350. She has a very small cozy office but doesn't need much more because she does one on one appointments. No fear of someone else waiting in the waiting room, pressing your therapist for time or your appointment being interrupted. She really listened to what I was having issues with and the hard pressure I like. She did what she called more "muscle therapy", to release the tension and knots that have been plaguing me. By the end, my shoulders naturally hung lower, my neck wasn't stiff and my whole body felt extremely relaxed. This isn't my first massage by any means, in fact I have been to over a dozen different therapists and or chiropractors in the Houston and Austin areas. I know when I'm being treated well. I was massaged by Lisa...and she did an amazing job...she focused on all my sore areas and really paid attention to what my body needed...I left feeling refreshed and completely satisfied...my wife had Tom...and she said he did an excellent job as well. I LOVE that they have chair massages as I have back pain and unable to lay flat on my back for regular massages anymore. The chairs are in the front lobby area but they still try and make the area dark with calming music. The foot massage area have reclining chairs which again, I appreciate as I can lay flat. They have little pillows for support and the room is dark with nice lights and music. If I had to say anything it would be I wish you can book online and the face cushion on the chair was so soft my face sank right to the metal part. It was a little distracting but the massage itself was amazing. You can get a punch card and get $30 off after 10 visits ....which will be easy to do! I highly recommend them and wish they were closer to me but def worth the drive.
