I had the 1 hour foot massage and am in love with this amazing service. First, it's not "just a…read morefoot massage". You start by soaking your feet in a warm water basin while your masseuse leans you back in an easy chair and massages your scalp, temples, arms, neck & shoulders. Yep- all part of the foot massage!! Then they remove the water basin and massage your lower legs, feet, and toes into heavenly bliss. A few times she went too deep for me but i simply asked for softer and she immediately adjusted. As all of this is happening you're reclining in a comfy easy chair covered by a warm blanket. When she finished with my legs & feet, she escorted me into a private room where I laid face down, fully clothed, on a massage table. She then spent another 10 minutes massaging my neck, back and calves. So relaxing! She ends with this oddly relaxing, light punching up and down my back. The entire experience was just so much more than I was expecting for a "foot massage". At check out you can pay cash or credit but prices are discounted for cash. Also, with such low service prices they have a sign recommending a greater than avg percent for tip- $10-$15 is stated avg. I happily paid $10 for the foot massage tip (assuming the higher tip is for the full body massage). That means one hour massage with tip, all in, was only $38! A great deal for sure.

Do not go here the owner is awful(Jena Massie ) I had heard awful things about her and her…read morenastiness but I offered to give it a try because of the location. I had got two gift certificates that I did not know one expired I gave them to the receptionist upon arrival and she said it was all good. When it came time to check out she said I'm sorry it had expired and I had to pay full price . I asked to speak to the owner and she was beyond rude over the phone she didn't even give me a Chance to talk !!! She threatened to call the cops when I NEVER once said I wouldn't pay I just didn't understand why they wouldnt accept it !! She wouldn't hear me out and accused me of things that never happened I left there crying after I had a horrible neck pain and a awful week and feel like I was set up and I have never been treated so awful like that in my entire life and if she has anything bad to say on this post all I have to say to this is please watch the cameras and I have receipts 'nn because no one should ever feel scammed this bad !! I paid the full price even though I had a gift certificate just because it wasn't worth the aggravation and I will never I step foot in Serenity in kingwood ever again!! The sad thing about it is I was warned about this place, but I'm one of those people that like to give small businesses a try for myself before hearing rumors and going based on on what they say!! . But after how I was treated but the actual the owner I feel as though people should be warned by all the facts !!! This isn't slander this is pure experience !!! You should never leave a business crying and feeling like you were scammed !!! Please beware !!! After I left she harassed me and wrote me an unduly saying not to slander her business but it's not slander if it's all facts. I mean maybe she was having an off day and I could try to give her grace and pray for her and I will but no one should ever feel the way I did today for how I was treated for no reason at all, I was accused of something I would never do and I was threatened to have the cops called on me for no reason and i have the evidence of the cameras on my side even the therapist and receptionist didn't know what to do I felt awful to them because she put them in a terrible position , but obviously she needed it more than I did and if you need to scam people to keep a business running then your doing something wrong and I pray for her and her business that it stay afloat the right way !!! But I will speak the truth with facts and warn people I'm close with that they don't have the same experience I did alone with others that told me about this place !!! I pray for you and wish you all the best and hope you do what's right !!

I am actually really sad about my experience here. The massage was great and I feel good but the…read moreservice was pretty sub par. I paid $112 for a 90 minute massage which is a fair price and was planning on giving a $25 tip BUT there were 4 interruptions during my massage that deducted from the tip. My masseuse left the room while I was on the table twice to let people into the business or other things and then she took two calls while she was hands on with me. Each interruption I took away $5. So at the end of the massage, I only gave her $10 to be nice instead of only giving her $5 because the massage itself was good but the interruptions were simply unacceptable. And then she proceeded to question why I was only giving her $10. So I will not be coming back but my advice would be to hire a front desk person so that you can focus on your customer on the table.

I came in with an open…read moremind, hoping for a relaxing and professional experience, but I left feeling uncomfortable and deeply concerned. From the moment I walked in, the building had a strong musty, almost moldy odor. The restroom I used wasn't filthy but certainly wasn't clean -- there were visible stains, dirt, and the toilet hadn't been properly sanitized. That alone was disappointing for a health and wellness setting. In the massage room, I noticed hair and dirt on the floor. I told the student that it was my first time and that I wasn't sure what to do. She told me to take off my shirt and pants and lie on the bed, but her instructions weren't clear. I stood there confused until she returned and demonstrated. I believe there was a language barrier, which made communication difficult and left me feeling uneasy. Before calling me in, the student went into the restroom. I didn't hear the water run, and I was listening -- because I always pay attention to handwashing. When I realized she was the one who came out of the restroom and didn't wash her hands (at least not audibly), that's when it clicked: the very next day, I woke up with one of my eyes puffy, painful, and swollen. I can't say with absolute certainty, but I strongly believe this reaction came from either the lotion applied to my face or from the headrest -- possibly contaminated due to poor hygiene. I also was not informed I'd be lying on a heated pad, which I strongly dislike. That added to my discomfort. The massage itself was just okay -- some areas felt nice, others did not. Overall, I left feeling more tense than relaxed. For a school that's supposed to train professionals, hygiene, clear communication, and cleanliness should be non-negotiable. I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously, especially for the sake of future first-time clients like myself.
