Immediately 2 more employees that were there stand up and said we need to do this now! While talking , several other gym members check in after me and most didn't have a profile picture either but we're not asked to do one nor they were stopped , as I was , to enter the facility. I personally knew one of the persons who checked in while I was talking with the 3 employees at the front desk, and she didn't have a profile picture I saw it on one of the front desk computers. Out of nowhere, another guy showed up , I am not sure he was an employee or not, asking to show them my ID , so they can identify me. I said ok, I can show you my ID. I felt like I am a criminal, passing LAX security guards. When I show my Driver License , an employee took a picture of my driver license without asking me. He was only supposed to verify my identity not take a picture of my driver license! Many other members checked in at the gym , while we were talking and none of them that didn't have a picture on their account was stopped or asked for a picture, only me, I was singled out! Forma , you should train better your employees to be more polite and respectful towards the members who pay their salaries! And think twice before you hire disrespectful teenagers who think they own the company! Very disappointing experience. The way Forma Gym employees treated me appears extremely selective--some people are repeatedly singled out and bothered over minor issues, while others are given a free pass for doing the exact same things. Rules should be applied consistently and fairly to everyone, not enforced only against particular people. Professionalism means treating every customer equally and respectfully. Management should take a closer look at how these situations are handled, because this kind of inconsistent treatment creates a very unfair and uncomfortable environment.

The classes are a really great way to get a good workout in without having to plan it yourself. And taking classes over a long period of time absolutely will get you seeing positive results in your physical fitness. Reform Pilates has been my favorite so far. I can't say enough good things about Amy's class. She puts on the most challenging class by far, and I mean that in the best way. She is a gifted instructor and clearly knows what she is doing. she is able to push everyone in her classes to achieve their personal best and is there to provide personal instruction and correction as needed. Her attitude is inclusive and welcoming and she keeps you accountable for doing your best. The classes they offer include Hot Pilates, Reformer Pilates, various forms of Yoga, CS4 (boot camp), Boxing, Cycling, and Rebound. I've taken all their classes with several coaches, and I now have my favorite coaches. Ilze, Morgan, Alex, and Lo are top-tier for hot pilates and yoga; Alex and Adriana shine in cycling, Amy's unmatched in Reformer, Morgan and Lauren excel in CS4, and Sebastian brings it for Rebound and boxing. Ya'll this place will get you in shape in no time. I tried the Lagree class. The instructor was so nice and allowed me to switch over from the Climb x Boot Camp class when I showed up. I was also able to purchase a pair of grippy socks onsite for about $10. The music was good, the lingo will take sometime to learn, but I appreciated the instructor coaching me and helping to position me in the right position, and gave me words of encouragement. There was only 7-8 ppl in the class so I wonder what it's like when it's full. I appreciated the work out bc it challenged me to push myself just a bit more. I had a good sweat and worked my upper body to the point where my arms were going to give out on me, half way through but I kept pushing just a little more. I appreciated that there was no pushy sales person trying to get me to purchase a membership. Now I can give it sometime and a proper think. Everyone was pleasant and professional from the staff to the members in the room. Nicolette was subbing from Danville and she was a great instructor. Returning to the Megaformer even after hundreds of classes is still a VERY humbling experience. The slow and intentional movements of the Lagree method have left me with Bambi legs on multiple occasions. CB Fit is always constantly adding, modifying, and evolving with the times. Whether they're adding new equipment, upgrading to the Lagree 2.0 format, or incorporating client feedback, their constant commitment to improvement is why I'll definitely keep showing up.

At that time, I was either dancing and/ or running every day of the week. Once I began taking class, I noticed a difference in how my body held itself up; my core strengthened and my performance in my other activities improved. The Bar Method strengthens the entire body through small isometric movements, using your own body weight, as well as small handheld weights. After you work each body part, you stretch it; the practice leads to increased muscle strength, as well as greater flexibility. The practice focuses on alignment and posture, so while the hour long workout is rigorous, it is also low impact and exceedingly safe. In 2020, I moved back to Walnut Creek and had my daughter. Two years later, I returned to Bar Method and felt the classes helped me reconnect to my body. Making carrying around a squirrelly toddler much easier. Not only that, but the studio brought with it a sense of community, and the onsite childcare made my re-entry to Bar a possiblity. The co-owners, Chelsea and Audrey, are delightful human beings. They set the tone for the studio. The instructors are brilliant, many of whom have been teaching there for over ten years. It's an inclusive, welcoming environment. I could not recommend more whole heartedly.

Honestly the sequences are all relatively similar but it's something about the instructors alignment of their music to their sequence that resonates most with me when I practice. I generally do sculpt and so there's more beat to movement but I do love the C2s as well. I was a long time member until I moved out of the area. I would say that this studio gets a 4 star is because the time I attended the most, their heat was broken for a good 3 weeks and so classes were canceled. It made it difficult for a few weeks but also the studios are upstairs then the 2nd downstairs but you can't exit that way, you have to go up and back down to exit. I don't mind a few more steps added to my daily goal but it didn't make much sense. I did appreciate that it was handicap accesible though so maybe that's why.

I think the woman was just used to folks who are pretty familiar with their setup, so she spoke at lightning speed and didn't really leave much room for questions. But once she asked if I had take a hot yoga class before, I was a little puzzled. I have, but I now have a medical condition that prevents me from feeling totally comfortable with taking that risk, so I specifically looked for yoga classes that weren't heated. (You wouldn't believe how hard that seems to be to find these days!) Once she let me know, I had to leave and unfortunately, I never got the credits back from ClassPass. The lack of cooler classes aside, the space was clean and sanitary. It seemed like it could be a nice place for a workout if they had something available that was up my alley.
