I have made multiple purchases from this location before without ANY issue and did not feel the need to double check this purchase for its quality. Sol Flower is a dispensary located in Tempe, AZ. They have house products and well-known brands like Sublime, Moxie, and Good Things Coming. My favorite edible is the Lemon Tea Cake from Sublime. Their house carts are flavorful and only $25 for a .5 gram. If you're in a rush, maybe place an order ahead. After you select what you like, you'll be seated in the waiting area for the next cashier/budtender available. Gives you time to write a review for a free pre-roll! I must say their parking lot is little weird. They have a security guard on site who may take you to the entrance as the actual parking lot is on the opposite side. Today I had 3 issues with my order. (1) they gave me the wrong cartridges (2) they didn't have the brownies I already ordered and paid for (3) they didn't give me a free 1/8 like the promotion said when you spend over $100. I tried to call Sol Flower but the phones never were picked up, I had to call 5 times and still no answer. I was forced to go down there to get this resolved. I went to Sol Flower today to reconcile those issues and got a little pushback from the budtender and the manager who said he couldn't give me the free 1/8 (for when you spend over $100). I left the store out of frustration and on my way home, they called me. The manager, who previously said no to replacing the missing 1/8, called me and said he would give me a free 1/8 and a free brownie and another discount. I was so please that (1) they fixed their mistake and (2) that they went out of their way to call me and admit he made a bad call earlier. I told him, that this was the second time this has happened and this visit was their second chance at re-gaining my business, and even though they blew their second chance, I would still come back. Kevin recovered my business and has really learned how to compensate guests. I train general managers professionally and the biggest thing I tell them to learn is humility. Every move your employees and you make, effects the business. So when someone makes a bad move-- admit it. I can see that Kevin takes pride in his business. I even bought an additional 1/8 just to support the business and as a "thank you" for their generous corrective action. I recently finished studying and passed my exam for a job certification which left my body feeling so tense and sore I could barely sleep. Typically I just used advil to relieve pain but in the past I've been to this dispensary and had a good experience so I decided to see if I could find some pain relief medicinally. A couple days ago I went to Sol flower and had a very unhelpful experience. The sales associate was not helpful and said most of stuff is sold out and had nothing that I needed for someone who gets anxious when they smoke and just wants pain relief to help sleep. I left disappointed and remained in pain. Last night I decided to go again just because I remember they can be helpful there and my sales associate, Timothy Romero was a rockstar! Literally going around the whole entire store, asking everyone questions and digging deep to find special stuff just for me to help with my issues. I truly appreciate the effort! I've been coming to Sol Flower for a few years now, this particular location as I've always had a very pleasant experience with the team here; everyone is so friendly, patient and approachable. I typically order online but occasionally just stop in and head to the Express Line, right next to the Online Order line. The Express Line allows you to order a bit quicker if you know exactly what you want, which is super cool. Today, I did just that and immediately got reprimanded by the guy behind the counter with bleached white hair to get back in one line. So I did. I then, unfortunately, was next in line for his line, when he learned I did not have an online order he reprimanded me yet again that I need to go to the front and check in, "like I told you the first time". I've literally never been spoken to by any one, in my life, the way this bleached blond kid spoke to me. It was so condescending and humiliating, the other people in line were coming to my "defense". I was headed back to the front, but not to check in, to keep walking out and never to return. Then Dallas called after me and apologized for the bleached blond boy and helped me w my order. Dallas demonstrated grace, class, and what serving the customer should be all about. So a big shout out to Dallas as he is deserving! To the owners: you gotta pay your team members top dollar, that's how you get the good ones to stay. To the bleached blond guy: Go figure out why you're so unhappy, happy people don't talk to others the way you spoke and intentionally humiliated me. This dispensary is a joke. Their flower is low quality, uncured and full of nutrients. So much so that when you smoke it it has a super spicy smoke on your throat. My house smells like I smoked a pack of cigarettes and not flower. Im super disappointed in the customer service as well. The manager on duty helped me with my issues but regardless, after that experience AND quality of product I received I will absolutely not goin back. 1/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Sadly, they've lost a customer of over two years. I definitely know that purchasing the value popcorn flower is a gamble, however, I've purchased the value popcorn bud from this dispensary for a while and have had one bad tasting batch out of the many times I've purchased. The last time I picked up a half ounce it was probably THEE worst batch of flower I've ever received. The trim is horrible, the flower is light as air, no density, no trichomes, horrible tasting and dry asf. As soon as you light it to smoke it turns straight white ash bc that's how quickly it burns. I literally received no benefits from it, no relaxation, nothing. It literally was flower that like maybe a first time grower grew and failed terribly at. They literally should have called it "Fisher Price Flower" bc that's exactly what it is, FAKE. It's very clear the dispensary just wants to make a profit, which is very disappointing since these dispensaries clearly make A LOT of money. I'm not 100 percent sure on the return policies for flower here, so in order to try and find out I attempted to give them a call. It's impossible to get someone on the phone there. They do not answer, and the mail box is full. I reached out via Instagram and received a speedy response which was nice. I provided my info and was informed my info was passed along to the people at the Mclintock location. Awesome. Well it's been two days and I have not received one call regarding this issue. All I want to know is if I'm going to be able to swap or get my money back before I drive back over there. I don't want to risk wasting my time going there and then being turned away or being told "there's nothing we can do all sales are final". It's just super upsetting bc 1. This dispensary has no issue providing below sub par product to their patients or customers just to turn a profit and 2. They clearly lack customer service skills because they cannot even provide a simple call back, nor do they answer their phone. For these reasons I will not be returning to this dispensary. I definitely don't say this to be a Karen bc I clearly understand the dispensary has many customers that will keep it fully operational. I just want customers to know if they are looking for a good value, skip this dispo for sure, bc they will sell you trash and obvi not care to follow up with you should you complain. You're better off buying Christmas bud from your local street dealer (no taxes smh) I hear on Reddit that the best places to go for good weed is TruMed, and for good value weed Ponderosa.
