Our kitchen area features gourmet foods from small Texas vendors and in our ranch room, we have Texas hand-crafted benches with old ceiling tin backs, mantle shelves and cabinets built from reclaimed century-old lumber. We love working with products from the USA (especially Texas!); unfortunately, USA-made products are getting harder and more expensive to come by and does not fit the majority of our customers' pocketbook. My parents purchased a rocking chair from him six years ago and had it shipped out to California where they currently reside, but since we were visiting the area, we went to go see his showroom/workshop by appointment via email. Gary greeted us upon arrival and invited us in to check out (and sit in) his offerings, then moved on to a tour of his workshop. So fun and informative, and truly awesome to see the unique work and care that goes into creating an excellent quality piece of craftsmanship. He showed his jigs, saws, sanders, and explained how their process works. Clearly he loves what he does and takes pride in his work. And for a good reason, my dad LOVES his chair and uses it nightly while watching TV or eating a snack.
