I have done work with them in the past. They did a shoddy job wiring an amp and setting it up. some of the wires came loose after a couple weeks due to them improperly mounting/securing it. I went back and explained this to them and they wanted to charge me to diagnose the problem. I went to a place down the road who went out and looked at it and fixed it for free in under 10 minutes. read more

I have used this place for a few cars and this is my last time I will use or recommend this place. Customer service sucks waited inside for atleast ten mins while she was on the phone. She was talking to me and answered the phone and just kept talking. The window tint had bubbles on two windows so I took it back and they tried blaming me for not coming back sooner but they were aware of the bubbles because before I left I mentioned it and they said it would go away. After they tried to fix on window I still have two small bubbles and when I try to call them they blocked my number. Also they left whatever chemicals they use for the window all over my doors seats and this was a brand new car. Poor service stay far away if I were u. read more

I've been using this company since I was fifteen, thirty-four now & have brought at least twenty vehicles (not including referrals) to them for window tint & subs. Never have had an issue. Of course price has gone up but still affordable amongst their competitors. Family owned & ran, always good company. Much respect to them for doing their thing & staying in business. Stay FAR away from this place. They completely lied about what they sold me. The window tint is suppose to come with a lifetime MANUFACTURE warranty and they would not provide the required warranty documents. I gave them ample time to resolve the issue, and they refused to respond, which caused me to initiate a chargeback at my bank. They then LIED to the bank, saying I didn't purchase window tint, and instead purchased a car detailing service. WORST SHOP EVER.....!!!!!! they installed an alarm in my car and when I left all the lights in my car started blinking on and off and the alarm started going on and off while I was driving.... took it back and they said they were closing so I have to come back in the morning...... the next day when I went back the installer could not fix the problem and both the installer and the woman in the office had an attitude with me..... I took my truck in to have alarm installed and was told 730 for installation and if I just wanted alarm installed it would be 485 and I could come back and have remote start added for the parts I call to make an appointment and they tell me it would be 435 for a 50 dollar part after i already paid for the install.this place is a rip off dont go there unless you want to pay way over what its worth read more

I've come here 3 separate times and each time I have walked out empty handed. They are extremely over priced which is why I've walked out. Each time I can find the same product down the street for 10 to 30 dollars cheaper or more easily. They're friendly and I get they have bulls to pay but the stuff just isn't worth what they want for it. read more

We took our vehicle to this location for a back up camera installation. The installer was an hour and a half late in starting on our vehicle. After they broke the windshield, we were asked to provide our insurance information so that they could file a no-fault claim to install the windshield "for free". They actually should have filed a claim against their garage liability policy and made us whole without touching our insurance. We are very dissatisfied with this location and the service. Live and learn. Next time we will do better research to find a place which will assume responsibility for their errors. read more

I work in the consumer electronics industry. This is the worst car audio shop I've ever been in. I walked in and had to greet the sales person that worked there. I witnessed a disgruntled customer having a dispute with the salesperson. The salesperson didn't care about the customer at all. Then after that she didn't even check back in with me to see if I needed anything so I just left. I strongly suggest you find a different car audio store if you're in town. read more

I went to Sol Control initially because it was really close to my house. When I walked in, the lady at the counter helped me find a system for my wife's car and my truck. She took the time to give me prices on different equipment even though I had tons of questions and constantly asked her to quote different equipment. I wanted to make sure that I was getting the most quality for my money possible. I checked a couple other stores nearby and it turns out they were slightly cheaper, but they didn't show me anything and seemed like I was bothering them by being in their store. I went back to Sol Control because I'd rather pay a little more to be dealing with people who actually took the time to earn my business. I took my wife's car first on a Saturday, it was professionally installed in a matter of hours. All the cords were neatly hidden, wrapped and zip-tied. Better yet my wife was so thrilled with her birthday present that she sat in the car in the driveway of our house for hours listening to it. It sounds great! Then I took my truck in and again within a matter of a few hours I have a really nice system! I'm so impressed with the installers skills, never had a professionally installed system as I do today. I am sure these people do a fine job on tinting windows etc, but don't take your car to them for repairs. I was given a quote of $181 this morning and by afternoon it was $403..Was told they had been sent the wrong hose...TWICE.. and that the hose they needed was "available at the dealer only"...If they didn't have a part,and they did not know the true cost, they shouldn't have given me a quote, and I shouldn't have to pay for their mistake or the mistake of any parts stores. The fact that the "mechanic" didn't know what the correct hose to order was so the right hose would have been sent,and the correct price quoted, does not say a lot for them either. The work had already begun based on the first quote, and that is what I should have paid. The owner is amazingly rude to you, unless you are of Spanish descent or have a thing for Mexicans. This was evidenced when she had some mexican guy in front of us and she PURPOSELY kept us waiting to be served. How do I know this? My wife speaks and understands spanish, which the owner did not know. Most of the conversation was chit chat about nothing. Typical bait and switch company looking to rip you off and a crew of immensely incompetent fools in my opinion. read more

Had my schedule appointment for over a week first appointment on purpose to make sure things like it's something like this doesn't happen they have three installers now all the sudden I get there there's a lot to people already ahead of me although I was first scheduling then 3 hours later they come to my house and say we need an extra key we lost we lost this one in and then if that's not enough they get my key go back and then say we're just not going to have enough time and it's 1:13 in the afternoon absolutely ridiculous stay away from these people waste of time I went by Word of Mouth and distance it's just not enough absolutely horrible there are 54 between Madison and 19 a little little place on the right if you're heading towards 19 stay away from them and then to top it off they have the nerve to say can we reschedule and I asked him how my wall what are you going to do for all this issues you've calls me and then I don't know the price stays the same I'm like well okay then that's it done deal no more read more

I am a very reasonable person and usually don't complain about much. That being said, I paid more than $300 for a job that was incomplete and finished at a rate that took twice the amount of time that it should have. All I had was two amps installed so the job was supposed to be simple. After taking the whole day to accomplish, this place tried to give me my truck back with a LOUD, unbearable ringing noise coming from my speakers. I told them I wouldn't take it back with the ringing so they said they would fix it the next day. I left my truck for another full day. When I picked the truck up the following morning, after being delayed 40 minutes because the owner was running late, I received my truck which still had the ringing noise. VERY DISPLEASED AND I WOULD NOT RECOMEND. read more
