We bought a used Tahoe cop car with super low miles at a bargain price. However, it came without a stereo, had zero safety features, the seats were rock hard and the interior floor was very slippery vinyl. My wonderful wife investigated the best places in Tampa Bay to get it fixed up and I reached out to MCOR via email on a Saturday morning. Very quickly, John called me and I made an appointment to bring it in for an estimate. The shop is clean, the estimation process was smooth and thorough, and John went the extra mile helping us find a very affordable center console on ebay as well as a replacement dash part from Chevy. The original dash had some holes in it evidently for mounting of police gear. Cop cars don't come with a center console since they mount their laptop on a stand in the floor and officers prefer the space since they spend so much time in the car. We wanted a proper center console for our road trips. We got a stereo, multiple USB ports, an HDMI port, speakers, carpet, backup camera, blind spot sensors, new seat cushions and leather covers and front and rear proximity sensors as well as the console and dash part installation. Everything as done on time and the quality was excellent. MCOR found cool and professional ways to install all the ports and they look better than factory! I did my research and purchased a high quality expensive cam for everything I need plus the hardwire kit and they won't install it??? Great way to lose business. So I recently bought a new Dodge Charger Scatpack that did not come with factory tint. I heard about MCOR and they are right down the street from me. I gave them a call and let them know I was looking for tint and install of a dashcam. They asked great questions about what type of tint I needed as well as how dark. They then confirmed I had a dashcam already and immediately gave me a quote. Their schedule was pretty packed so they gave me some options and I let them know I would call back. When I called back, they immediately got me on the schedule. Fast forward to appointment day: Walked in (cannot stay due to COVD so you have to drop off your car). They let me know the expected time frame and some things they may run into. Turns out, they did run into an issue with the rear window, which has thick defroster lines and caused them to have to redo the back 3 times. This appears to be a relatively new issue, but they got it taken care of. They did a walk around of the vehicle with me, pointed out potential areas of defect and gave me clear instructions on care. Also advised if I had issues to bring the car in and they would address. Even bigger surprise, turned out $200 cheaper than what I was originally quoted! All in all, this was a great experience and I would definitely recommend MCOR to others based on this experience. read more

Let me start by saying if I could give zero stars to this business I would! We made an appointment and showed up to have our new BMW windows tinted. Upon arriving we met with George. Well we were the classic victims of bait and switch!! Before we arrived we called "TWICE" to verify the cost of a "specific type of tint". When we got there we were told a price of double the cost of the phone quote!! That's after being told that they were having a sale on tint!!! We tried to negotiate with them, questioning the price that was given over the phone. They told us they quote the same price to everyone that calls, regardless of the type of tint they ask for. Needless to say we left very annoyed. What they actually admitted to was called a "bait and switch ". You don't advertise one price and double the cost when the person gets there! read more

I setup the appointment and dropped off the vehicle. When I went to pay it was over $1100. I put this on me, because I should of got it in writing. I came here because of the 3m tint n I trusted the 3m brand....which mean I paid a pretty damn good price for it because of the quality n the warranty. The tech who did the tiny claimed to have more than 10 years experience did a shitty job!! Dirt particles n bubbles were trapped between the tint n glass...asked them to take it off n redo it n they weren't happy about that!!! 2 years later the driver window tint starting to peel off, brought the same car back wit my name in the computer system, and they say they won't fix it without the original receipt!!! My name n file is in the computer system n I paid a hefty price for quality product n a lifetime warranty...but they won't fix my window because I don't have the original receipt!!! I was never told to keep the receipt for the warranty, otherwise I would have laminated that receipt and kept it with the car!! Bad place, bad service, bad warranty!!! read more

I have to admit that I was originally worried about the reviews on Yelp, but when I looked at other review websites, I was confident to come in and work with these guys, and boy am I glad I did! MCOR is definitely a fantastic place to take perfect care of your car. My wife and I bought an Audi TT and we wanted to upgrade the stock radio. Jimmy was my advisor, and let me tell ya, he is a very patient man, because we kept asking to add and remove things, and all through it he was very calm and easy to work with. He recommended several configurations, and we were able to handpick what we wanted. No pressure to buy anything, simply fantastic advice. When it came for the install, they did a phenomenal job, and the work looks better than OEM. I picked a brand new radio with CarPlay, rear backup camera, and a slim subwoofer, and the work they did is simply outstanding. I didn't give them a review when I had my retractable truck bed cover installed. They did a good job and I was 100% satisfied. That was approximately two years ago. Today I was having a trouble with the latch system and unable to open it and access my truck bed. They immediately took it back to look at it. 10 minutes later they were finished. They were able to get it open and lubricated so it would work like new. They did not charge me one penny to do this. That is what I call excellent customer service. read more

I was the only person waiting in store so disappointed in there time estimations and customer care but work was done well price was higher than the initial phone quote I guess they used a level or two higher than what I was told on phone hopefully the tint holds up I wouldn't use here for my other cars!!! read more

Total for lowest legal tint and rear windshield tint removal was $340, (including "shop fee"). Also has a lifetime warranty. It has been almost two weeks and it looks amazing! I purchased a car stereo from this place. Cost $931. I used their 90 days same as cash for convenience. I could have easily put it on my credit card but Geroge who sold me the stereo told me about this service they offered. He said just pay it off in 90 days. and I thought they set me up to auto pay it off in that time. What he didn't tell me is that if I went one day over the 90 days, this company ACIMA would transfer me into a "lease" program and that I was then obligated to pay them over $2000.00. When I realized what has been going on and I have already paid over $1600 and still owe more that $400, I called to ask George at MCOR for help. He said I am on my own there is nothing he can do. This was to have been my third car with them, but it wasn't and never will be again. Car 1: I dropped it off when scheduled, and called the night before to ensure it was done before I made the 40 minute commute to pick it up. Being my birthday I brought my son with me to pick up my new car, with plans to follow up with lunch. Dropped off at 10 am I expected to have plenty of time to get out by noon, even if there was a little touch up. I didn't leave the shop until 4 PM, an entire SIX HOURS in their waiting room! No lunch, no offers of food, no communication AT ALL, and no time with my son (other than watching their TV). There were numerous problems. Car 2:They did a decent job on a new Dodge for my kid, but there were still flaws in the tint that shouldn't have been there for $600. Why did I go back this time? Because they were closer than their competition to where I live. Car 3:We bought a new SL 63 on a lark and needed the Passport 9500ci moved to the new vehicle. No problem I think, MCOR's web site says: "We are the ONLY local one stop shop solution for the car dealership's accessory sales and installation needs.....We also provide door-to-door service with most products installed right at the dealership. Our turn around time is second to none, and our 6 day a week service schedule has ZERO competition." So, I had the dealer call them to have them come to the dealership and knock it out. Would you be surprised to know that they said no? After they complained that they couldn't do it outside the dealer even offered them two bays. Then the problem was that they didn't have their tools (really? a set of screwdrivers and a wire stripper?). They also wouldn't come get either car, and were scheduling out a week. That doesn't sound ANYTHING like their description, does it? Ok, the dealer's valet and I shlepped two vehicles over to them and dropped off the old car for removal of the radar detector. No, no dollar estimate of the cost, and we can't take your payment now, but we will get it done as soon as we can. This turned out to be the next day. When they called to tell me it was done they wanted my credit card number, but we don't use one any more (to get out of debt). I offered to mail a check that would have time to get to them, be deposited, and clear the bank before they would even see me again. I also asked them to order the new interface for the detector to the Mercedes. In the mean time they would have my $2000 radar detector in trust and, besides, I had been there before. They were also expecting me to entrust a new $160,000 car to them. No problems, right? Wrong! No deal they said, although they would take cash. Ok, I reply, I will bring it when I drop off the new car and pay for it in full. Still not good enough! I had to yet again make a trip to MCOR, wasting two more hours of my time, to give them cash before they would give the old car back to the dealer. Remember the dealer? That's the one that they supposedly have a relationship with and take care of. Anyway, that was enough that I paid and took the pieces to another installer who was very happy to order the part I requested and hold it until I came for install. BTW, the one I used tells me that MCOR charged double for the removal what they would have charged me. Listen guys, if you can't order a $500 part for whatever wholesale is and salvage yourself a $3000+ deal, you have problems. If you feel that charging me double is good business, well......I guess you need the money more than I do. This place is not a discount joint, even if they act like it. Yes, it was my fault. Like the abused spouse that just can't stay away, I went back. Don't make the same mistake I did. read more

I originally called MCOR for a quote on a front end film package for my new car. I was pleasantly surprised when the price I was quoted was almost $200 cheaper than a competitor in Tampa and the dealership where I purchased my car. It took about a week and half for me to get an appointment given how booked up they were. Prior to my dropping my car off, I had called back for a quote on getting the tint redone as well when they had it in for the front end film install. Jimmy took the time to explain over the phone the work that would be involved and gave me a detailed quote on the tint work as well. Upon arrival, Jimmy was very detailed in going over the work that would be done and educated me thoroughly on the products they offered and helped guide my decision in what tint to choose based on my car and its complexities. Initially I was told it would be two full days to get all of the work done, but that it may spill into a third given the labor involved in installing the front end film package, removing the old tint, and putting on the new tint. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call from Jimmy on the afternoon of the second day letting me know that the car would be done that day and to plan on coming in at the close of business to get it. When I showed up to pick up my car, Jimmy again took the time to take me out to my car and go over it in detail to show me what they did and the work was flawless. I've had previous cars tinted where there was spray from the water and adhesive left all over the interior panels, yet after this visit I couldn't even tell that someone had been inside my car doing such laborious work. My car looked as immaculate as when I had dropped it off and the quality of their work spoke volumes to the professionalism and type of business these people run. Great work by the staff of MCOR. These guys are outstanding. Don't be fooled by the Lamborghini's, Bentley's and Ferrari's that are usually out front...these are down to earth great guys who go the extra mile for your business. So far they have tinted my 2002 Acrua RSX Type-S, my father's 2013 Audi A6, and installed an upgraded speaker system in my fathers 2006 F-150. All of their work was top notch and on time (even early in some cases). On a side note, I noticed a bubble in my windshield guard and a small crack in my upper driver's side door panel. I was upset thinking "These guys work on all these expensive cars, and mess mine up??". They brought the GM out and he took a look at it. The tools they use could never cause that kind of damage, as they showed them to me and how they do the tint. They pulled off the door panels with my permission and came and got me. They mentioned that the switches on the door panel look like they had been replaced. That's when I remembered the previous owner mentioning he had replaced the switches in the car before he sold it to me! I felt terrible for getting aggitated at them initially and apologized, knowing that this was 100% exisiting damage. The GM told me not to worry about it and they went ahead and apoxied the door panel and fixed the bubble in the windshield guard for me anyway! It was damage they didn't even do! They will have my business for as long as I own a vehicle. This is a great small business, you will not be dissapointed. read more
