I tried to make it work out, but had I know previously she was a greenhorn, I would have declined. I have very thick, voluminous hair. I need an experienced stylist. I ended up with my hair off by 2 inches from the left to right and just not textured correctly. I called back after 3 days to get it fixed, but the owner went out of town on vacation, so I had to wait 2 weeks for her return. I was patient and played a lot of phone tag during that time and eventually just came in to have someone put their eyes on my hair. That stylist that looked me over agreed it was really off and tried to quickly even me out while I waited for the owner to return. When the owner returned, I was able to go in for her to "fix" it, but it was still a problem afterwards. I called back on a Friday to address the unevenness and to convey my stress in this situation. I was asked to call back on Monday to let them know if I wanted another stylist to fix it. I called back on Thursday and they decided they didn't want to help me anymore. My 12hr/day job is very stressful and I couldn't call on Monday. Tonya told me that because I didn't call on Monday; they wouldn't be helping me anymore. I didn't sign a contract to call on Monday. I didn't know customer service had an expiration date. Tonya stated that never in 15 years have they ever had a complaint, acting like I was out of line. She gave me the option of a refund or to be done with it all. But she acted like I was in the wrong. So I went to another salon to have my hair fixed and these are the before pictures of my 4th hair cut in 2 months. My hair does not grow in weird spurts in that short of a time. They most certainly messed it up. I went back to the original salon with these pictures and they were unwilling to even look at or understand that they actually did mess up. They threatened to call the cops on me for simply asking for an email address to contact the owner on. I was calm and discrete. Tonya came over looking for a fight and another stylist came over and threaten to call the police on me. This is highly unprofessional and ridiculous. They don't keep client records to know what specifications a client needs. They want to blame the client for a bad hair cut. They want to threaten legal action when you have a legitimate complaint about their services. If you have really thick hair, don't go here. They will not take the time to make your cut right. I have dealt with stylist getting overwhelmed with my hair my whole life: if you can't take the time to do it right; do even dare start. I have lost so much length due to this experience. This is the very reason I avoid getting my hair done. You have done a disservice to me and the entire profession.

Jenna, my friendly esthetician was also very prompt to see me and brought me to a clean and cozy room for my hair removal. She used sugaring technique, which for those who might not be familiar, is very difficult and if done incorrectly can be a not so pleasant experience. However, in my 10 years of waxing I can say this was in my top 3 greatest experiences. Jenna was friendly, welcoming and also extremely skilled in her technique. It was not only painless and quick, she got every last hair! I was seriously telling her I loved her! Haha trust me if you wax you understand. My first experience here was for an updo and unfortnatly it was so bad I had to take it out when I…read moregot home - it was clear that this girl had no experience with updos and I do not think they should have allowed her to try on me, a paying customer. My second expierence was coming in for a manicure and the person could not do french tips, I have never encountered that before because it seems like a very basic "design". My third and final experience was recently when I was given a gift card for a mani/pedi/massage and I was not interested in the massage as I do not like them, but it was a gift, so I asked if I could use the remainer of the balance after covering the mani/pedi on a different service and they said no. So that is why I am leaving this review because that is poor customer service. I have not left a bad review prior even with my bad experiences because the staff has always been SO nice. But this time it was not a great experience due to customer service. Additionally, my GEL manicure started chipping in TWO days, whereas I have gone other places where it has lasted me 4 weeks. So I believe they are either not training their staff well, or they don't use quality products. Which for how expensive it is there, they should be doing both of those things. I would not recommend going here, unless you are in a pinch. Still leaving two stars because the girls who have given my services have been very nice and I think that is worth mentioning.

Not exactly what I was hoping for in a "day spa" vibe. My stylist was Chelsea. She was pleasant and didn't talk too much, which I appreciated since I told her I was looking for some downtime. I'm happy overall with my cut, but sort of felt rushed by her. I've noticed several split ends since too, which is disappointing since I told her I wanted the ends cleaned up and healthy. She did a very nice scalp massage during the shampoo though and did a nice job targeting products that I might like.
