We came here for threading services, but was surprised that 95% of the service was done using wax. I am not sure if there was a hearing or a communication issue, but I did call ahead to confirm as well as stated the specific request in person, so there shouldn't have been any confusion? I am thinking this pivot of the service was due to the pressure of attending to all the waiting customers, and since there was only one person on shift, everything was rushed through. The results were okay, but could have been a bit more cleaned up and more attentive. Due to the high reviews on this place, we thought it would have been exponentially better. I've done the fake lash extensions for years now and they just don't do it for me anymore. I also don't want to look like Mr. Snuffleupagus when I'm trying to look cute. If I do get falsies I'm lucky if they last a week. I've also done magnetic lashes too but those don't stay on well resulting in the corners being undone. I wanted my lashes to look as natural as possible with some curl to it. My lashes naturally lie flat and even with mascara, they don't appear to stand out. Lash perms can give your own lashes the extra curl needed. Most of all the perms last for at least a month! Odette was sweet, calm and patient with me given this was my first time doing this. She explained the process and checked in with me often since the perm solution they put on can cause mild stinging. I felt that but it didn't cause serious discomfort. In the days ahead, my eyes did crust up but what I was left with were a beautiful set of lashes that were of my own, just a bit enhanced to give you that va-va-va voom oomph to your look. If paired with eyelash primer and a coat of mascara, they stand out guaranteeing you won't get that Snuffleupagus aesthetic. I would definitely recommend lash perms for a special occasion/vacation. My session lasted an hour allowing for relaxation. In fact, I took a 20-minute nap while on the table! Parking is a breeze with Posh Beauty situated in a large strip mall with adequate free parking. I recently had my eyebrows tattooed by Lana. It is a two-step process, the two appointments are…read moreabout one month apart. I am due for my second appointment this weekend at which time I plan to also get the eyeliner done. Lana is extremely professional - both with her communication via telephone/email while setting up the appointment, the office is clean and relaxing, and she wore a gown, mask, googles, and gloves during the entire procedure. She cleaned my entire face with alcohol before starting the procedure and I was impressed at how immaculate the whole set-up was. She even let me take videos while she was tattooing -- my friends were so curious how it's done, I wanted to have something to show them. Before even starting the tattoo process, Lana spent over two hours mixing pigments to find the perfect shade for my face. She was never rushed and often mixed and remixed, shaped then reshaped until she was satisfied we found the perfect color and shape for my face. I thought this was really nice, I appreciated that she took her time during the planning phase. Lana was conscious of the pain and made sure to numb the eyebrow area really well before diving into the bulk of the tattoo. She had two different types of numbing agents - one was a cream, the other was a spray. After she applied the cream, she waited a good 20-30 minutes until it kicked it fully. Then, she would work a little bit then spray the other numbing agent until I was totally numb. And I will say, after a couple applications of the cream and spray, I was totally numb and didn't feel anything. It was nice to not feel the tattoo on your face! My tattoos were tattooed in the past by another artist about 10 years ago so it was faded and misshapen. Lana evened them out to one another and corrected the color as well. I am really happy with the finished product, and am excited to see how they look after the second appointment. I would totally recommend Lana for your permanent makeup - she is wonderful! Professional, clean, thorough, and very considerate... what more could you want from a cosmetic tattoo artist?
