Our experience at Soft Touch Dental in Gresham with Dr. Sadakah was extremely disappointing and honestly unacceptable. We brought our son in for care, fully explaining ahead of time that he is a child with special needs. Instead of showing any patience, understanding, or willingness to accommodate him, Dr. Sadakah refused to provide services when my son was unable to complete the X-rays. What was most concerning is that he didn't even attempt to examine my son's mouth--there was no effort to build trust, no attempt to adapt to his needs, and no alternative solutions offered. We were simply dismissed and sent away. This is especially frustrating because the clinic presents itself as a place that supports patients who may need extra patience or accommodations for children with disabilities/specials needs. Based on our experience, that was not reflected at all in how our child was treated. Families with special needs children already face significant barriers when accessing healthcare. We came in hoping for compassion and understanding, and instead left feeling dismissed. I would strongly caution other families of special needs children before coming here. I just wanted to leave a review of what I experienced today. I made a dentist appointment for my daughter who is 20 months old two weeks ago they told me my insurance covered the appointment. I called Tuesday to confirm no co-pay and that her appointment would be covered. They said yes her appointment was supposed to be 11:15 this morning. they told me they called me yesterday and left a voicemail saying that she is assigned to a different dentist and we're supposed to get switched over to them. I never got a call or voicemail. I have proof on my phone. The last time I talked to them was Tuesday confirming that the insurance covers her appointment. this was supposed to be my daughter's first dentist appointment and we get treated like that. I'm really disappointed with my recent experience here. I had booked a dental appointment for my son, but something unexpected came up and I wasn't able to make it. When I called to explain, I was told that because I missed the appointment, I would no longer be allowed to schedule any future visits -- and that this was part of a policy I had signed. I understand that policies are important, but life happens. I asked if an exception could be made, especially since this was an honest mistake. I was told to contact the regional manager, which I did -- I left a voicemail, but never received a call back. It's very discouraging to feel shut out without even a conversation. I have been a patient at this dental office since childhood, multiple different office spaces , having undergone various treatments, including braces and wisdom tooth extractions. Over the years, I have visited numerous times, but as an adult, I have come to recognize a significant lack of bedside manner and genuine care for patients' dental health. Today was my final appointment before turning 26, and I can confidently say that I would not choose to return to this office under any circumstances. My last experience further solidified this decision. During a recent filling procedure, Dr. Sadakah provided minimal communication about the work being done, instead engaging in conversation with his staff. I left the appointment unsure of which tooth had even been treated. Additionally, the numbing was insufficient, and when I reflexively moved in response to feeling pain during drilling, the dental assistant chastised me rather than acknowledging my discomfort. The focus seemed to be on the fact that I had moved--resulting in my lip being cut--rather than on the pain I was experiencing. There was no concern for my well-being, only a reaction to what appeared to be a liability issue. She is extremely lucky I was having a full on anxiety attack otherwise I would've responded VERY APPROPRIATELY. It seems the focus here is to treat as many people as possible before the end of the day. If that's what you're into hey, I know they'll have atleast one spot for you!! End of the year and I need some work done. Time to use up those limits before years end. Both my Wife and I are having some work done. It's nice to have her support from the next room. She was having a little more done than I was. So I was done first. My entire procedure was great. The Dr. was very gentle and fast. I think the numbing was the longest wait. The procedure itself was very quick. Im very happy. My Wife the Trooper is done. She's much better at these kinds of things than I am. But I'm glad I found a Dentist I like. I'm actually looking forward to getting more work done. I know my Wife is but she's not a baby like I am. read more

The Front desk staff: they greeted me as I walked in to the office, with smile, warmth, and sincerity. I had to fill up a new patient application and it didn't take long to call me in to the back. Unfortunately, I forgot their names. The dental assistant: when he took me in, he was friendly and he was gentle when he was doing my x-ray. He also did very well with cleaning my teeth. I think his name was Johnny. The doctor: Dr. Sadakah is a professional dentist. Very informative, and he was friendly. He made me understand things very well, and I like that. He broke it down to where I could understand what's going on in my mouth. When I went back to the front desk, the lady was helpful and he also explained what had to he done with my teeth and explained what my insurance covered. We set up appointments and she explained everything at ease. Overall, my first experience with this office, I'm satisfied with how I was treated! Thank you to the staff! You guys are great! This company claims they send out reminder text messages but I didn't receive one; I have only one number on file, so it couldn't have been a mix up. Also, they have a policy that is you miss ONE appointment they'll permanently place you on a "same day" list. Every time I've booked an appointment they always scheduled more than a week out, This means that you won't ever be able to schedule the same day! This company must be turning quite a PROFIT if the can write off clients after their first missed appointment, or same day cancelation. read more

Love this dentist who is a pro and just keeps my teeth in shape after a fall damaged my teeth and I eventually started losing and breaking them. He has fixed two front teeth to look perfectly natural and matched the color perfectly. Last app I had to have a molar pulled and he was fast and is excellent at making sure I had no pain during the extraction. He's so good at giving numbing shots. I trust Dr Sadaka with my dental health and am grateful for him and his caring staff who take good care of us! read more

Dr.Sadakah is the BEST! Him alone I'd give 5 stars for care and being quick and efficient!! but the dental cleaning I received from hygienist was a little rough. I have healthy gums and teeth so I feel that cutting up my gums and the heavy bleeding was a bit much. The initial visit was fine, most notably it was efficient. The gentleman who performed my inspection performed his duties quickly and with a cold but calculated efficiency. Receptionists and dental assistantlab have all been friendly and helpful. The lady that actually filled my 2 cavities on the follow up visit was nothing short of amazing. From arrival at the office until departure took all of 28 minutes! I have sat in the dentist's chair waiting longer than that at other offices. She took the necessary time to make sure I knew what all was to take place and my questions were answered. I would have to say top 2-3 dental experiences I've ever had. I'm a single mother of 2 children and had to cancel an appointment because my daughter was throwing up and was too young to stay at home alone. I called to cancel BEFORE my appointment but I'm still being punished and have been put on a 'same day appointment' list. As a single mother who is in school full time and also works, same day appointments do NOT work for me. I have to have prior notice (an appointment) in order to find childcare, cancel work and plan around my school schedule. The front desk transferred me to the account manager to lift the 'same day' hold but the lady I talked to was not understanding at all and was very unsympathetic. I was in pain for over a week and needed to get a back molar extracted. Dr Sadakah extracted my tooth so quickly I had to ask if it was done. The worst part was being numbed. Getting to the point of seeing Dr Sadakah was a journey. I had been having pain in a back molar and called my dentist to have it extracted. They knew from previous visits it needed to come out. I have high anxiety when it comes to seeing a dentist so I needed time to calm down. Eventually the tooth became too painful and I called to have it removed. They could not get me schedule for a month.... Yes I was in pain and it was going to take a month to see me. I waited a week and a half until the pain became intolerable. This was on a Sunday. The on-call dentist could not help as his internet was down, he did suggest I take a combination of IB and Tylenol and call the office in the morning. I called at 7am the next morning and was told they could not get me in until the following morning, Tuesday, so I was scheduled to go in on Tuesday. Even with the IB and Tylenol combination I could not take the pain any longer and ended up in the ER Monday afternoon. After a six hour wait, I was given some medication for the pain. The next morning I received a call from Willamette Dental their floor were flooded, I needed to reschedule my extraction again. This was my first time at soft touch dental. It was a good experience. The staff there was very professional. Very nice. And even kind of funny. My friend Sarah works there. She encouraged me to come in there and try it out. And to my surprise it was just a nice dental visit. I did end up having teeth extracted. And it was virtually painless. I ate a piece of peanut brittle and it ripped out TWO crowns in my mouth (done elsewhere years ago). I got an ER appt. and they got me into the Gresham office. They were quick and efficient. I went in for a new patient appointment and waited for 1 hour in the waiting room while I watched many other patients come and go ahead of me. Halfway through my wait I was told it was taking long because they hadn't completed some of my paperwork. They are so overbooked that they started telling patients to wait in their cars for a call when to come back in. I left after the hour and was never called. Terrible experience. I have a really hard time finding a office that cares to help. This office was nice enough to make an appointment one after the other for my partner and I so we could switch on and off with our 1 year old. They were the first ones to do this for us. The nurses were amazing! Excellent customer service that you do not often find in dental offices. I put a 4 only because of the DR. He didn't seem to care. Just took a look in my mouth talked to the nurse and left like my treatment didn't matter. My bf who has nice teeth one larger issue told he he was super friendly to him and seemed to want to help. Thankfully they have more then one dentist so we will keep going mostly for the amazing nurses. read more

Don't get the doctor upset with you. Don't expect responses to phone calls or e-mails because you will not get one.

I give absolutely no stars to Dr. Sedaka. I presented at his office with pain, stitches and infection from extractions 6 months prior. My dentist referred me 13 days prior but this was the earliest I was able get appointment. As soon as he started pressing in to my mouth where stitches were (my dentist had done emergency work to drain infection), I flinched in pain. I asked if he could do topical numbing before he proceded. Dr. Sedaka became very abrasive with me stating he barely touched me plus I wasn't even swollen, to put my head back and let him do his job. We tried again and I flinched in pain. He was very irritated, barking, "I barely touched you"! I expressed my dislike for the way he was handling the appointment. His sentiment was, "I don't need this"! Basically, he wanted me to be quiet and endure. No thank you! I terminated the appointment. Soft Touch Dental is an inaccurate name for this dentist, who btw is NOT an actual oral surgeon. Dr. Sedaka has created a "pull your teeth wagon" profiteering enterprise. I would NOT recommend his services unless you enjoy being abusively disregarded. His offices are clean and beautiful but he and his staff need better customer service skills. read more

Let me start off by saying I had 3 quick interactions with soft touch dental last summer and they were quick easy and friendly but as with most things all good things come to an end! I had a received a call last month from them asking if I needed to schedule an appointment I didn't at the time but told them I would as soon as I needed to! So This morning I called to schedule a cleaning and more with my previous dentist because I had such a positive experience last time! But Wow! The Front Desk Staff Member Linda is Unprofessional, Unfriendly and Uneducated on store policies as well as a lack in customer service skills. After Declining my business for no reason Linda transferred me to the Office Manager I then remained on hold for roughly 10 Minutes until a very Annoyed Crystal answers and tells me nothing that Linda had just said happened and that I have no reason to be upset might I add she still didn't offer to book me. After this I'm confused and Disappointed at the fact that they denied a loyal paying customer for no reason other than they weren't doing there job? Dr. Sadakah is the worst dentist I ever encountered. He gave me unnecessry and very bad root canals in 8 of my teeth to milk Medicaid on insurance money. And stupidly I believed him and let him ruin my life. Afterwards I went to a different dentist and she confirmed that those root canals are indeed unnecessary. She said I did not even have cavities or need fillings on 6 of the 8 teeth sadakah have done root canals on. If you Google "danny sadakah board malpractice", you will find his malpractice cases. He was also penalized and fined multiple times by the Oregon board of dentistry for many violations. read more
