The fifth session, which was supposed to be a mock driving test, was conducted by Kim and was a particularly negative experience. Kim's communication style was unprofessional and discouraging--she frequently popped and chewed gum during the lesson and delivered feedback in a harsh, condescending tone that made my child feel embarrassed and less confident. At times she contradicted the other instructor. Bottom line--My daughter came home in tears and feeling less prepared for her test than she had before the lesson. We do not recommend these instructors.

First thing that went wrong was the instructor contacted me the day of our appointment which was scheduled over a week in advance, and she requested that I leave work early so the session could take place a 2 instead of the original time of 3:30. I obliged just to be nice. I drove from Stockton to Sacramento at the meeting spot. She ended my daughters lesson 30 minutes early and never took her on the freeway, I immediately called her and asked why, she claimed that there was too much traffic but she insured me that my daughter drove safely and "beautifully" . I hung up and called the office to speak with the owner who was very unprofessional by suggesting I wasn't telling the full story and said he would offer another 30 minutes as a courtesy. After speaking with him then my daughter, I learned that not only did the instructor not take me daughter on the freeway but she also took a call and discussed rushing to meet her friend for plans that they had. My daughter was ripped off from what should have been a great ending to her training program all because the instructor wanted to rush back to her personal life and I'm upset because this isn't fair.no one has called me back even tho I was promised a follow up. For online education, my son experienced a "system glitch," and he couldn't get his finalized certificate of completion. Problem is - this is my first time doing this so I had no idea that we couldn't just show the completion from the phone, as it required a physical certificate. When I contacted ADS, morning of permit test, Wendy instantly jumped in and printed the completion certificate (typical 5-7 business days via mail) and made it available for pickup within 20 minutes. Definitely put my panicking mama brain at ease! Fast forward to his last BTW being this Sunday, which is scheduled months in advance to ensure timely completion. We experienced a death in the family, and the memorial was also scheduled for Sunday. Make the call to ADS to see if we could reschedule, and there was no availability. I did my best keeping it together, but ultimately ended up sharing the details about why we needed to reschedule. Wendy instantly went from already amazing customer service to being a sincerely concerned and compassionate human being. I left that call reassured that she would do her best to contact me if anything changed or an opening became available. Wendy called me the next day confirming that she had a cancellation for another location that we could take. It wasn't a simple reschedule either, as she would have to reprint completion certificate, coordinate pick up/drop off with driver, and more. We gratefully took the appointment. We are so appreciative of Wendy for the amazing customer service throughout this process. I am grateful that she took the time to show human kindness and going above and beyond to show she cared. Ps. The lady who I called to make an appointment with was really rude. I tried to ask if i could change my instructor but the say "every area gets assigned a different instructor" showing no flexibility. Also, for my last lesson, the dude was sick with the flu and coughing majority of the lesson. He also blasted the AC.. I had the flu for a few days after. Overall, don't recommend driving instructor named Adam. My friends were in the same school but with different instructors and their experience was great. Hate that I got so unlucky..

Anyways, when I first applied I was under the impression of working with children whom have autism. That is NOT the case, some may have autism, but most likely have other concerns. It can sometimes be very stressful, but my consultant was always available via phone or text .. Anyways, the flexibility is great for a college student .. but the pay is bad. I met a girl whom worked for this company (she had her Bachelors degree in Social Work) and they were paying her $13 an hour. A lot of the employees here don't have a sincere interest in children , it's just a flexible job while in school which isn't fair to the kiddos. In addition, the staff at the office aren't very nice .. when I had my interview I asked for $13/ hour (I have two AA degrees), and the lady flat out told me "no, we pay 11- 12 which is already above minimum wage" .. also, whenever your kiddo cancels they have you drive to another kiddo .. which isn't always convenient. When I gave my two weeks notice she snatched the paper from my hand & took me into a private room to question why I was quitting .. once I told her I was moving she continued to ask where ? I moved from Sacramento to Huntington Beach. She then asked me why I was moving ? And if I already had a job lined up? And what it was? Giving your notice is already awkward , and this made it annoying too .. In addition, every person I've trained with would use there phone during intervals .. even my consultant , so one day I was out on the playground with my kiddo whom was playing hoola hoop w/ a friend about 5 ft from me .. I was checking my schedule to see when the after school aide would be there (she was always late) and you must stay 15 minutes OVER your shift before calling the office ! Also inconvenient .. anyways , somehow the owner of the company Erin Chargin stopped by .. she said are you a learning solutions employee? I said yes .. she then responded "oh! So you work for me, and you need to be off your phone" I was taken by surprise & responded "okay" she then walked off .. but I had no idea who she was ! I had never met her, once I got home I researched her , & it was her .. she was very unprofessional & rude .. she should've introduced her self , then ask me to put away my phone ..
