I signed my daughter up for behind the wheel training and had not yet contacted the company, so they reached out to me in order to schedule her first appointment! Since then, I have had a few interactions with the company and they have been accommodating, friendly, and approachable. It's been a while since I've had such great customer service - thank you!

Scheduling was difficult and took much longer than expected. We purchased five sessions in total…read more During the first four sessions, my child felt that Jacqueline's instructions could have been clearer and more structured. The fifth session, which was supposed to be a mock driving test, was conducted by Kim and was a particularly negative experience. Kim's communication style was unprofessional and discouraging--she frequently popped and chewed gum during the lesson and delivered feedback in a harsh, condescending tone that made my child feel embarrassed and less confident. At times she contradicted the other instructor. Bottom line--My daughter came home in tears and feeling less prepared for her test than she had before the lesson. We do not recommend these instructors.

He really enjoyed his lessons and highly recommends her! As his mom, I also appreciated how accommodating and flexible she was with scheduling--especially with his test coming up. Genny with Empire driving school is the reason my daughter was able to pass her driving test…read more Before coming to Genny, my daughter had taken classes with a different instruct who ruined her confidence. My daughter no longer felt comfortable behind the wheel. Genny worked with my daughter to build her confidence and correct the inaccurate information she was given from the previous instructor. Genny's kind heart made the difference. She helped us beyond the lesson by checking in and continuing to send pointers to work on. I cannot say enough good things about Genny.

The instructor…read morewas abruptly changed to an older woman on my daughter last scheduled session.this was supposed to be the first lesson on the freeway and she was excited about completing her sessions. First thing that went wrong was the instructor contacted me the day of our appointment which was scheduled over a week in advance, and she requested that I leave work early so the session could take place a 2 instead of the original time of 3:30. I obliged just to be nice. I drove from Stockton to Sacramento at the meeting spot. She ended my daughters lesson 30 minutes early and never took her on the freeway, I immediately called her and asked why, she claimed that there was too much traffic but she insured me that my daughter drove safely and "beautifully" . I hung up and called the office to speak with the owner who was very unprofessional by suggesting I wasn't telling the full story and said he would offer another 30 minutes as a courtesy. After speaking with him then my daughter, I learned that not only did the instructor not take me daughter on the freeway but she also took a call and discussed rushing to meet her friend for plans that they had. My daughter was ripped off from what should have been a great ending to her training program all because the instructor wanted to rush back to her personal life and I'm upset because this isn't fair.no one has called me back even tho I was promised a follow up. I would not use this company or recommend it

I recently had a kid who went through the behind-the-wheel new driver series with West Point…read more Before selecting West Point, I had already combed through Yelp and Google. The "best" choice was not obvious from this research. I asked a friend who recently had kids get their drivers licenses and he recommended West Point without any reservations. I re-scoured the reviews and became convinced. The registration process was straightforward, and the office staff was always polite, efficient and professional. They are clearly used to dealing with unexpected issues because they were flexible with unplanned changes and last minute bookings. I only observed the instructors during their pre-drive briefings and post-drive debriefings. Always calm, nonjudgmental and full of useful tips. My kid told me that the instructors were always calm and did not raise their voice or panic. 100% recommend with no reservations.

The lady who I called to make an appointment with was really rude. I tried to ask if i could change my instructor but the say "every area gets assigned a different instructor" showing no flexibility. Overall, don't recommend driving instructor named Adam. My friends were in the same school but with different instructors and their experience was great. Hate that I got so unlucky..

Worst company to work for. The consultants and company are more concerned about paper work and data…read morethan they are the kiddos. They'd rather look good on paper than actually care if the kiddos understand what you're teaching them. It's not fair to the kiddos, family or tutors. I was put down a lot. Made to feel stupid and never had any support. The last consultant was condescending and only cared about herself and how she looked on paper. The office also doesn't care about the staff out in the field. We're the ones working with the kiddos but are treated the worst. I saw on their Facebook page they had an appreciation party to consultants but I NEVER got so much as a thank you. The only nice person in the office is the scheduler Lisa. I would run to any other company than Learning Solutions..

First, "learning" solutions is NOT what this company should be called. We (employees) are not to…read morehelp with academics. We are only to assist with behaviors and/ or other daily activities (depending if you work at a school or home setting). Anyways, when I first applied I was under the impression of working with children whom have autism. That is NOT the case, some may have autism, but most likely have other concerns. It can sometimes be very stressful, but my consultant was always available via phone or text .. Anyways, the flexibility is great for a college student .. but the pay is bad. I met a girl whom worked for this company (she had her Bachelors degree in Social Work) and they were paying her $13 an hour. A lot of the employees here don't have a sincere interest in children , it's just a flexible job while in school which isn't fair to the kiddos. In addition, the staff at the office aren't very nice .. when I had my interview I asked for $13/ hour (I have two AA degrees), and the lady flat out told me "no, we pay 11- 12 which is already above minimum wage" .. also, whenever your kiddo cancels they have you drive to another kiddo .. which isn't always convenient. When I gave my two weeks notice she snatched the paper from my hand & took me into a private room to question why I was quitting .. once I told her I was moving she continued to ask where ? I moved from Sacramento to Huntington Beach. She then asked me why I was moving ? And if I already had a job lined up? And what it was? Giving your notice is already awkward , and this made it annoying too .. In addition, every person I've trained with would use there phone during intervals .. even my consultant , so one day I was out on the playground with my kiddo whom was playing hoola hoop w/ a friend about 5 ft from me .. I was checking my schedule to see when the after school aide would be there (she was always late) and you must stay 15 minutes OVER your shift before calling the office ! Also inconvenient .. anyways , somehow the owner of the company Erin Chargin stopped by .. she said are you a learning solutions employee? I said yes .. she then responded "oh! So you work for me, and you need to be off your phone" I was taken by surprise & responded "okay" she then walked off .. but I had no idea who she was ! I had never met her, once I got home I researched her , & it was her .. she was very unprofessional & rude .. she should've introduced her self , then ask me to put away my phone .. I was not happy with this company , but it was okay for short term .. feel free to message me with any additional questions about this company .
