They use ableist language and get weirdly upset when people take sick days. Also, there have been microaggressions against Black and Brown staff members. I requested to speak with the doctor that same day and was told that would not be possible until the next appointment. At our early February appointment, I made it very clear that I did not want that same dental assistant working on my child again. Despite expressing my concerns clearly, when I checked my son in, she was assigned to him again. The entire staff was aware of my request. The doctor who was on site that day also knew about my concerns, yet walked away without addressing the situation. My concerns have consistently been ignored, and I do not feel that my child's care or my parental concerns have been taken seriously. I am requesting a formal discussion with the doctor regarding this incident and the discontinuation of services if this matter cannot be handled appropriately. I have clearly advised your staff that I no longer wish to continue services. However, I am repeatedly being told that I must meet with the owner before any action can be taken. My February appointment was specifically scheduled because I was informed the owner would be present to discuss this matter. The next step would be to figure out which orthodontist would offer the device. I made an appointment to see Dr. Iyer at Dr. Segal and Iyer Orthodontics, located at 501 NJ - 73 #202 Marlton New Jersey. I can honestly say I've never been to a facility more organized, and with 21st-century technology. Dr. Iyer was extremely amazing! She was able to sit with me and educate me on exactly how the device worked and how it's going to benefit my sleep habits.
