Dr. Desai's background speaks for itself. He graduated from the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University, earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2012 with Honors in the advanced standing program for international dentists. I am using them for an oral Sleep Apnea appliance. I couldn't use CPAP so I went the route. Dr Paster was very upfront about the cost and how much my insurance might pay vs my out of pocket. I didn't have to do anything and Medicare/my Medigap covered 100% which was a pleasant surprise. This worked out despite the fact that I had tried CPAP and returned it within the trial period which complicates Medicare filing - several other providers refused to take my case. This office came through for me with flying colors!!

I don't doubt the review by the lady whose daughter was blatantly lied to one bit. To make a long story short they told my bf and I over the phone verbatim that they could extract his wisdom tooth which had been causing him severe pain, which he had already spent time and money on x-rays for from a different dentist who didn't have any upcoming availability for extractions. Locked in a price and appointment with them, which wouldn't be for a week later which is painfully long to have tooth pain but we agreed as they assured us they'd handle the problem then and there on the spot. Well lo and behold, they blatantly lied just to get us in the door. When we got there, after missing a day of work and driving nearly 2 hours, they looked at us with confusion and disgust. Informed us the dentist who does extractions wasn't even there that day. Insisted we need an appointment with them first, despite approving everything over the phone and virtually, indicating just to bring his x-rays so they could handle everything. Suddenly nothing they said mattered. Their word was good as dog droppings and to try to fake-fix the situation at hand or just in further effort to blatantly try scamming us in our faces, they then said "actually we have dentists here that can do it, but they still need to check him" and had a so- called failed excuse of an old short stout balding with patches of white haired "dentist" sit him in the chair just to only complain like "why did you even come here" as if their receptionist didn't set that up... then exclaim it'll be $100 for an "emergency visit" after forcing him to wait those days for no reason until this next available appointment date they had to offer, on a standard appointment, non-emergency basis. He confirmed with the so-called dentist's disgusting attitude and demeanor he would not be capable of doing the extraction, to which he replied no, which we basically already knew so not sure why they were playing with our time besides further effort to scam us. Before even having X-rays done or anything he got up and left as this old fart was bickering over his entitlement to $100 for doing absolutely nothing and in contrast to our discussion over the phone we'd be paying substantially more than that that same day to have the tooth extracted and ease his pain. Funny btw cause they're so desperate they're running a $50 first appointment promotion we could've just bought if that was what we wanted while all this was happening... but none of that is what we agreed to. They wasted hours of our commuting and a day of him taking off work, only to blatantly lie and try to scam us. This was confirmed the very next day too! We called around more. A legitimate dentist at "Aesthetic Dental" in Ridgefield NJ the very next day was willing to squeeze him in under an actual last minute emergency basis. Did the extraction at just $400 & said verbatim "you saw a guy yesterday who claimed he couldn't do it? Was he even a dentist???" EXACTLY. I am still walking around without a tooth, and they charged my insurance for completing this work! The office did not answer my email either, regarding billing. I asked for a refund for the part of the claim they charged my insurance, but they did not complete. They still have my tooth but charged my insurance for installing it in my mouth. Well, it is not in my mouth! Ciara is very rude and unhelpful and did not call me back after the front desk said she will check on coverage and let me know. She continues to insist the dentist is a PPO delta dental preferred provider even though he is not. Their website also advertises this. No one answered my email either.
