Dr. Kaushal Desai stands out not only for his expertise but also for his kindness and time efficiency! The appointment was completed within an hour, which I really appreciate given how little time we all have in our day for doctors' appointments -- and the quality is absolutely still there! When I mentioned a sensitive tooth, Dr. Desai was gentle and attentive, explaining each step, reviewing and assessing every tooth, and concluding with recommendations. Dr. Desai offered helpful suggestions like using Sensodyne for gum recession and shared best practices for whitening products. I absolutely plan to return for a professional whitening treatment and appreciate that Dr. Desai can make custom trays for a perfect fit -- I want a higher level of whitening than the over-the-counter products. Dr. Desai's background speaks for itself. He graduated from the Henry M. He also holds a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (2010) and received a Gold Medal for community service in preventive dentistry at Rajiv Gandhi University, Karnataka, India. Dr. Desai is affiliated with the American Dental Association, American Dental Student Association, and Pennsylvania State Dental Association, and is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. My first visit was through a Groupon -- which is a fantastic way to discover skilled professionals like Dr. Desai. The office is convenient with great parking, and I left cavity-free and very happy with the experience. Groupon gave me a great introduction to a practice that clearly values community access to care -- an ethical commitment many in healthcare share. I left with no cavities, every tooth assessed and tended to, knowledge on how to maintain my teeth, along with product recommendations -- I'll definitely return! Thank you! Highly recommend Limerick Family Dentistry for quality, efficiency, and care.

The office is clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The big screen TVs in every room are a nice distraction. OK- now let's get to the nitty gritty. After reviewing my medical history, Sabina got started on my xrays and cleaning. She noticed that the corners of my mouth were chapped and sore. She gently applied vaseline so I wouldn't be uncomfortable. Wow! I was impressed as I didn't even expect her to notice. Sabina began cleaning my teeth and used a combination of a water pic and dental tools to make the plaque and tartar removal as easy as possible. When my gums started to bleed, Sabina gently applied medicinal grade mouthwash to stop the bleeding. It didn't even hurt. She then polished and flossed my teeth and gave me a couple of pointers to keep my teeth healthy and my bleeding gums at bay. Then, it was time to meet Dr. Iskender. He was just as gracious and very thorough in his exam. Not only did he check my teeth, but he also carefully checked my lips, gums, and cheeks for any signs of an abnormality. I suppose all dentists are supposed to do this as part of their exam, however, I have never had a dental team be so thorough with my check up. Very unprofessional. Scammers, not dentists. Will lie & say whatever over the phone just to get you…read morein the building then further lie in person in efforts to overcharge you & avoid doing their jobs. I don't doubt the review by the lady whose daughter was blatantly lied to one bit. To make a long story short they told my bf and I over the phone verbatim that they could extract his wisdom tooth which had been causing him severe pain, which he had already spent time and money on x-rays for from a different dentist who didn't have any upcoming availability for extractions. Locked in a price and appointment with them, which wouldn't be for a week later which is painfully long to have tooth pain but we agreed as they assured us they'd handle the problem then and there on the spot. Well lo and behold, they blatantly lied just to get us in the door. When we got there, after missing a day of work and driving nearly 2 hours, they looked at us with confusion and disgust. Informed us the dentist who does extractions wasn't even there that day. Insisted we need an appointment with them first, despite approving everything over the phone and virtually, indicating just to bring his x-rays so they could handle everything. Suddenly nothing they said mattered. Their word was good as dog droppings and to try to fake-fix the situation at hand or just in further effort to blatantly try scamming us in our faces, they then said "actually we have dentists here that can do it, but they still need to check him" and had a so- called failed excuse of an old short stout balding with patches of white haired "dentist" sit him in the chair just to only complain like "why did you even come here" as if their receptionist didn't set that up... then exclaim it'll be $100 for an "emergency visit" after forcing him to wait those days for no reason until this next available appointment date they had to offer, on a standard appointment, non-emergency basis. He confirmed with the so-called dentist's disgusting attitude and demeanor he would not be capable of doing the extraction, to which he replied no, which we basically already knew so not sure why they were playing with our time besides further effort to scam us. Before even having X-rays done or anything he got up and left as this old fart was bickering over his entitlement to $100 for doing absolutely nothing and in contrast to our discussion over the phone we'd be paying substantially more than that that same day to have the tooth extracted and ease his pain. Funny btw cause they're so desperate they're running a $50 first appointment promotion we could've just bought if that was what we wanted while all this was happening... but none of that is what we agreed to. They wasted hours of our commuting and a day of him taking off work, only to blatantly lie and try to scam us. This was confirmed the very next day too! We called around more. A legitimate dentist at "Aesthetic Dental" in Ridgefield NJ the very next day was willing to squeeze him in under an actual last minute emergency basis. Did the extraction at just $400 & said verbatim "you saw a guy yesterday who claimed he couldn't do it? Was he even a dentist???" EXACTLY. This place is a disgusting disgrace/scam/getting reported to the BBB / AG.

After I got the estimates for the dental work to be done from the insurance, which were higher than expected, I asked to be sent somewhere else to complete the rest of the work, with a dentist that is actually a Preferred Delta Dental PPO provider for real. But this office decided to charge my insurance for the rest of the work that they never performed and now I have to take action in getting my money back to go somewhere else. They charged my insurance for installing a crown that they did not install! Be very, very careful! Do not trust their website. Check with your insurance. I am still walking around without a tooth, and they charged my insurance for completing this work! The office did not answer my email either, regarding billing. I asked for a refund for the part of the claim they charged my insurance, but they did not complete. They still have my tooth but charged my insurance for installing it in my mouth. Well, it is not in my mouth! Ciara is very rude and unhelpful and did not call me back after the front desk said she will check on coverage and let me know. She continues to insist the dentist is a PPO delta dental preferred provider even though he is not. Their website also advertises this. No one answered my email either. It is quite unbelievable that they charged my insurance for installing a crown, and I still have a missing tooth. They did not call me or email me back or contact me back in any way. Very dishonest. Be warned! All I asked was to be issued a refund for the portion that the insurance paid them for, but they did not yet complete. I would also like my crown to be sent to a preferred Delta Dental PPO provider, so I can go there to get my tooth fixed. I think it is a reasonable request, given that this office would charge me 30% more for out of pocket because well, of course, according to Delta Dental, they are NOT a preferred PPO Delta Dental provider, as they claim, no matter what they advertise on their website or what Ciara tries to convince you.
