Todays date June 24, 2022. Just had this company service my system for two reasons: 1) Routine Maintenance of my 2 Units (1X 5 Ton / 1X 3 Ton 16 SEER Trane) since I had them installed in 2019 and no services done since. 2) two upstair rooms 6 degrees warmer than other rooms so inconsistent temperatures. Overall Service: I thought the service was very reasonable considering what was needed. I didn't have anything to complicated or have of emergency. Diagnosis Results: Philip immediately found the issue which turned out to be when the original company installed my systems, they come Pre-Charged but only for runs up to 15' and since mine was just over 25' then moment I turned on my new units the system was under charged. My air temperature prior to being Re-Charged was 61 degrees and after being ate-Charged was 48-50 degrees. He didn't try to over sell the issue which is almost always a sign of dishonesty and a sign of hearing a high $$$ follow. Cost: The cost was high in my opinion and I know there is an argument for the cost of a new system had I not received this maintenance and service would be much higher. Total cost for servicing 2x Units, 2.5 lbs of 410A, and Labor was $679.89 Final Overview: Honest with diagnosis of issue, went over cost prior to performing the service, showed me actual readings of diagnostic equipment being used, didn't attempt to add additional cost or services and simply addressed what I called for. I would use again but would familiarize myself with current cost of HVAC services to prevent sticker shock or negotiate some payment plan with Society Air prior to. read more

It started a few weeks ago with the community giving me recommendations and I chose to go with them as they were not charging a trip fee for local residence which I liked, and from the first time I reached out they responded very quickly and put me on the schedule for the next morning. Would give them a 0 out of 5 if it was available. Did not meet commitment on costs because I did not have additional addon work (new unit sale) done by them. I did have the initial $400 plus done (refrigerant add). Also they were $2,000 higher for the same equipment from another vendor. read more

I called a local and popular company for a quote on a whole new system. They came out to look at what I wanted done. Was told they would send me a quote. Well that was 3-4 months ago and I still don't have a quote. I called Society Air for a quote and they came out the same day and gave me a quote. Society Air installed my new system in a very timely manner. They repaired all damage to the attic access and it looks great. Everyone of the men were pleasant and professional gentlemen. Terrible service. Appointment time was 7:30 - 9:30 AM this morning and he has yet to arrive. I have tried calling his cell numerous times and the voice mail is full !!! Can't even leave a message !! I am very pleased to have found this business! My tenants had contacted me around 5:30pm about two weeks ago saying the a/c unit was shutting down after it was trying to start. Mind you, the temperature at that time was about 110 degrees. I contacted the warranty company and they could have somebody out the next day. Unacceptable if you ask me. It's 110 out and they couldn't connect me to someone who could come out now. Not content to let my tenants fry in the house overnight or put them up in a hotel, I searched yelp and came across this business. Thankfully they were open until 9pm, I called and Phillip answered and he said he was able to come to the house in the next hour (as he was on a current home visit.) I texted him the address and the tenants' names. He called me once he was at the house and told me what was wrong with the unit and that he checked it all over for any other signs of damage or if anything else was in need of repair. He said that he didn't have a part needed readily available on his truck and that he was able to temporarily fix the issue until the next day when he could come back and install the needed part. He got the unit working much to my and my tenants' delight rather fast. I am extremely pleased with the service we received and am so grateful he was able to do it so quickly. What a pleasant experience I had with Society's Air. My A/C on the second floor was blowing hot air. I promptly called them and they were able to meet my needs at a nominal price. The worst experience ever! Phillip and Daniel came out to my house 7 times and my AC still doesn't run properly. 1st it was a wiring issue, then the compressor was replaced. Phillip even went as far as telling me that the whole unit might need to be replaced. They had to call York for troubleshooting and still no fix. I would never recommend Society Air and the only reason they were called for repairs is because that's who my property management uses. read more

This is by far the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. My home warranty company contracted them to repair my a/c units. Society's Air called me yesterday and told me they would come out the following day between 9 and 11. When nobody showed up, they told me they don't have me down for an appointment, which we all know is a lie, since they are the ones who called me and set up the appointment. They then told me they would have someone here at 3:00. I tried calling back at 3:00 to confirm they had someone headed my way, and they had blocked my number. I called from another phone and they told me to call someone else, my service call had been transferred. The person running this company is completely unprofessional and obviously a scumbag. I would highly recommend never using this company for anything, as they are obviously completely incompetent. I have cool air again! No thanks to my home warranty company. They wanted to send out someone tomorrow,it's over 100 out! So I went on Yelp and called Society and talked to Phillip he was 40 dollars cheaper per pound for freon and his service call was $25.00 less than my home warranty company. But more than that he was professional and informative. We got a quote to replace our units that are over 20 years old. He did not pressure us into that,we requested it.
