This winery is tucked away in Dexter. It's not far off the freeway. It sits off a busy street but as you enter parking and walk up to seating area you don't feel like you're in the city because it's like you're away in Napa with the hills and nice breeze. They are open Thursday through Saturday for minimal prime time hours.
There is a good amount of parking, I would mind that there's gravel parking so I would not wear heels --flats may be preferred for safety. My friends and I were informed in the winter months the barn opens up to still continue winetasting and socializing, but in the summer months, the open gazebo with picnic benches, and fire pits.
Ordering the wines can come as samples for tasting or you can order by the glass or the bottle. We can order Villa the waitress. There's a QR code. We can go up to the front counter, so there's multiple ways to order which is convenient. They change their menu seasonally which is nice to keep an assortment of flavors-- such as there are multiple rosé available in the summer. They do have small plates or snacks-- charcuterie boards and nuts, sounds like they'll be some food trucks in the near future, which will be good too.
Our table tried an assortment of wines which we enjoyed all but the "wine, tango foxtrot" was our least favorite that one was like flat sparkling water. They also have mocktails and sparkling water, which is nice for those that may not want an alcoholic beverage.
Our waitress Megan was very informative about the ones and different social events that have occurred on property in the past.
I look forward to coming back here in the near future! *cheers* read more
