I found myself here for Jury duty a few months ago. All in all, jury duty is not really much fun…read more regardless of where. But this place made it at least semi-entertaining. They have this whole preamble where the clerk gives you his "chat" first, and this guy has been doing it for a long time and he's made it pretty entertain. And since they want you to listen to the hole thing, being entertaining is one way to make that happen. Then the judge came in and more or less repeated what the clerk had said. Not sure that was needed, but whatever. I was called into the box, but released from the actual jury, which is good. Not a case I would have been good for. You have to get here early to get a parking spot, That's annoying, because there is not a lot of other parking around. So if you ever get called, Id be at least 30 min early to park.

I also felt very safe because the court officers had everything under control and maintained order inside and out of the courtrooms. All of the court officers were terrific, but one was the most knowledgeable and caring. He was slightly shorter than the rest of them, but tall in character! Kudos!

They constantly lose packages because they refuse to scan prepaid items in if they don't feel like it (funny how every time they do this, one of the packages never makes it into the system and there's "nothing they can do") and they constantly miss scheduled mail pickups for us small businesses. The employees are RUDE, they typically try to close early, and parking is just awful. It's so sad to be a small business owner that can't rely on the local post office.

Parking is street and not easy to count on. These are the types of POs that can cause people to be irritated by the whole system. But 3 stars because they do do their job.
