A Mr. Shenowski (Not sure on spelling) was the person who I was blessed to have answered my call. The experience was painless and what a world of difference it makes when the person helping you is so knowable. Not sure if I butchered his name, but whatever you are paying him is probably not enough. The man enjoys his job, you could tell by his demeanor. I thank you and my family thanks you. Security guard was rude but I'm confident he handles his fair share of problems and rude people because it's all appointment only and protocols have changed. Still it's a pretty routine experience, security guard checks your name on the appointment list, tells you where to sit, they call next and you meet with the worker. Chairs are marked off due to the distancing requirements. There are green spot parking spots outside the office, no free parking here!

On December 5th, they did a little party type of thing outside the house to celebrate. Walt started his magical journey (ie was born) on the 2nd floor of this home. That's just crazy to think about! Walt's parents actual bought the land, then designed and built the home from the ground up! Walt's family ended up moving to Missouri when he was 4 or 5 years old...but it all started with a man born in Chicago who would make a mouse! As a Disney enthusiast, I wanted to roll by and check the place out. They are currently in the process of restoring the home to it's 1901 state when Walt was born. However it was neglected for years! The current owners are Disney people and on board with the historical significance, planning to do great things!
