I have been to see Marina for the 2nd time and I wanted to commend her knowledge of SS and Medicare as well as her approach with me personally. Marina was so kind, patient, and competent. I went to inquire regarding retirement and disability benefits. The place is well kept, bright albeit offering very little privacy as the first couple of windows are very close in proximity to the waiting area and everyone can hear your business. THAT includes if you wish to use their facilities right next to the waiting area. I can hear people doing their businesses on both accounts. The second part being more embarrassing ( thank goodness, it wasn't me) lol. I had to move seats. The lady on window 6 has been phenomenal Ms. M. Tischler. She was professional, patient and kind. She took her time in explaining everything without losing patience and this was in the middle of the day. I wish there were more people like her. Truly an exemplary government agent. There are plenty of them but she is one of a kind in an ocean of bureaucracy. You are truly appreciated and I applaud You- Ms. M. Tischler. I know your Supervisor appreciates you as well. Thank you The wait time is short and orderly but their paging system is low volume and sometimes the announcer only pages twice and if there are rambunctious kids around, good luck hearing your number being called. Caveat. Pay attention to the TV monitor for your number to blink for your turn. read more

EXTREMELY RUDE we had a phone call interview and the guy who was supposed to call us DID not call saying that we hung up on him every time he called. We were waiting for this phone call more than a month!!! Was me, my father and my mother, he did not called us!! I called SS so this rude individual called us back, he was extremely rude all the time!!! Because my father didn't speak English. My father speaks 2 other languages and I speak 4 languages but he had to get an interpreter. I don't know how the other attendants are BUT this guy is rude for all of them! He did not explained anything to us, just did the interview to my father didn't finished with my mother, both were scheduled, he said that only my father was scheduled, and I'm sure that's wasn't true. We received the bill a month later charging us even months before the phone call. IF YOU DON'T LIKE YOUR JOB CHANGE IT!!! If you are not happy with your life it is not my fault or any other peoples fault, it is only your fault!! read more

my 5 stars is for jennifer i have had horrible experiences on the phone with this branch but today, jennifer answered my call. i could not be more delighted with her willingness to help and go above and beyond to answer my questions. we even LAUGHED together on the phone while she was helping me out. i couldnt have asked for a better staff member to answer my call. thank you jennifer for taking the time and compassion today with me as im sure you did with every other call you received after me. from now on i will be silently praying that when i call im sent to your queue again. keep up the good work jennifer! read more

I had contacted & dealt with several offices & attempted te internet SS medicare enrollment...ALL were unsuccessful. After 1.5 hour wait times to speak to a live Rep. I'd explain I needed to enroll as soon as possible in medicare...I had previously scheduled procedures forthcoming. Despite the time frame issue I was told " 6 weeks to 3 months ", but I was provided a scheduled phone call only a few days before my time ran out. I contacted BRIDGEWATER SS Office & dealt with an EXTREMELY Professional Rep. Ms. TISCHLER. She clearly understood & facilitated my medicare card/ enrollment by the following day ! She also provided me with important info I wasn't aware of. I realize all customer service Reps have a difficult job...Ms. TISCHLER at Bridgewater Office really went ABOVE & BEYOND...efficiency AND a " People Person " combined . This was the second time I visited this office. I must say the people are friendly and professional. Each time they went out of their way to solve my problems. It is obvious that they are lacking in the work force needed for such a populated area, but it didn't seem to stop them from doing the best they could. I really appreciate how the walked me through retiring and filing the numerous forms. read more

Fast easy. It was very fast but the woman that helped me was not nice. Don't know if she was having a bad day or what. I was in and out in 15 minutes but she had an attitude. Told me I should have gone to Trenton since that's my zip code even though it was faster to go to bridgewater. read more
