We decided to pay the extra $20 fee to make a homemade candle and came early to smell all the available fragrances. You can bring your own drinks (alcoholic is OK) and snacks for a fun, relaxing social evening with friends, family or co-workers. The first step is setting your candle wick into the clear glass container. You put a gizmo that holds the wick so it stays centered in the container. After we finally chose the fragrance and a color to tint the wax, it was easy to pour in the fragrance into the cup of warmed up wax. Then pour it into the container and let it sit to cool off and firm up. Everything is set up in advance at the various painting stations. The paints for your particular painting, 3 brushes to use - a large, medium and a finer brush. The instructor walks you through what to do with the appropriate brush and paint color. You can watch the instructor live or also on the TV screens. They will also walk around and help you if you need assistance. Since the instructor walks you through the process step by step, anyone can make a painting that you will be proud of. My only suggestion was that the smallest brush I was given wasn't quite fine enough for my liking. I like to paint fine details. After everyone is done, they take a big group photo at the end and it's fun to see all the different variations of the end product. It was a really fun, casual evening and I can't wait to do another one!

Super cute set up; they offer painting classes they even have a shop set up. The girls who greeted us were kind. They sent our host over to us to explain everything. He was a sweet boy but wasn't the greatest host personality wise and was a tad unclear with explaining what was going to happen especially with it being our first time. We were left in the tiny splatter room twice with just no direction. Overall we had a decent experience. Wasn't a whole lot to it.

We all booked online and were able to pick which lamp we wanted to design. I chose the swan lamp. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and once checked in we got situated at a table with a few other guests. I am in love with the space. First off, it's in a business area, and on a Sunday, there was no one else around. My GPS had difficulty finding the exact spot but once I had the suite number it was easy to find. When we walked in you could see how bright and airy this space is. Before the start of class, we had time to chit chat and walk around to get ideas for our lamps. Our teacher (I think her name was Oun?) was super sweet and walked us through each step. The first step is laying out your design. We were served Turkish coffee and a Turkish treat, (for an extra charge) during this step. During the step where we glue on the tiles we were served the pomegranate tea that came with the price of the class.
