The staff were very friendly and helpful making sure that everyone was being helped. Before we started they gave us all a full run down of how to make the clay pots and what signs to look out for. The group we went with all had a great time and we all made some really nice planters, i look forward to attending more class for pottery but they also offer so much more from painting, sketching, stain glass, and more. I wish the pottery class had a whee spinning option or perhaps more intermediate/advanced classes that would allow us more options but overall it was a great experience.

Stopping only for a quick snack break. Mine came home looking like she had painted a Picasso. The last day is the showcase and it did not disappoint. Guillermo started by making an ornament to show us the entire flow and from then on we got to do pretty much everything except blowing in the pipe / tube, which I understand. You don't want everyone's mouths on there. He was super helpful and explained everything to us answering any questions we had along the way. You could tell he absolutely loves what he does and enjoys sharing his passion with others. The 1.5 hours went by so quickly. Even when we messed up, he'd be like "perfect, that's peeeeerfect, now I'm just going to take this from you and adjust it real fast" lol. He's fantastic. We both had a huge smile on our faces the entire time. I'm not sure why there's so many reviews saying the instructors do everything and you don't get to do any of it. That's completely untrue. For the first pieces there was obviously more guidance, but by the end, we did pretty much everything except gather and holding the pipe when the piece was knocked off. It's not nearly as hot in there as I thought it would be. We were in jeans and a short sleeve shirt and were fine. There was plenty of cold water that you could get at any time and he explained where to stand to protect yourself from the heat. We'll be taking all our family and friends here when they're in town to experience this! Highly recommended!

We came here for pottery painting and it was a fun activity that will take you a couple hours to…read moredo. They have lots of different pottery items that range from animals like a dragon to kitchen items like bowls and cups. Each item has a different costs associated with it and you can see the price on the bottom. The butterfly in the picture was $22 and some items costs 2X or 3X that. Once you pick your item, then you can choose your colors and start painting. They recommend three coats for vibrancy. Depending on the size of your item and the detail you put in, it can take quite a while to do. After you're done, they will glaze it for you and you pick it up in a couple weeks. Overall, a fun activity for a group.

Russ and Terri are a husband and wife who own this wonderful space and teach the classes. The painting was very pretty and very do-able. It was fun to see how everyone's painting turned out different, but all pretty!
